Hi, after the HB update, i cant open the CC config. What to do?

Haya, First I dont have a log file yet (will attach one later - the bot is still running), but wanted to throw this in there in case nobody else has mentioned it (and if they have, I apologize... but am way too busy with work to read 100+ pages) Bot targets a mob and starts pull. His pull "path" takes him close to other mobs, which attack. Bot keeps running toward original target no matter... pulling the agro with him. Usually happens when the first target is upstairs in a building, and bot is outside at the time of initial targeting. the downstairs mobs agro. I have not died from this yet... but have seen him do it 3 times today so far.

Hey there, i'm new so i'm not sure what's wrong but the default shammy profile didn't work so I tried yours.
Here's the error (similar to default profile) Starting the bot! Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 5. What can I do to resolve this?

is there a way to alternate shields or even turn it off. i tried reverseing the options but mana shield cannot be put higher than electic shield in percentages option,

Bakedapple, I'm not sure I understand your complete question. I cannot envision a circumstance where you would want the behavior turned off or reversed. Please click the Help button in ShamWOW Options to view the ShamWOW Help file and look for the topic on Shield Twisting. Hopefully that will answer your questions. Otherwise, please see the ShamWOW FAQ [CLICK HERE] which is post #2 in this thread for information on the details needed when posting about issues with ShamWOW. There are simply too many combinations of options, component versions, and game scenarios for me to accurately try and duplicate your results without having the details available to me that are present in the log file. ah its just sometimes when i solo manually i like using earth shield but will check the intergrated help out

While grinding on my shaman, enhancement, I ran out of food and I could not eat. I monitored it and saw that it had the opportunity to heal itself, but did not. It had procced Maelstrom, which gives you a basically free and instant heal. I never run out of mana, and was wondering if there was any way to make him heal himself after a fight when he would be eating/drinking.

Just out of curiosity, what are you soloing as Resto? In general, this CC doesn't try to provide customization of every ability available in WOW to Shaman for its users. The design philosophy is that it automatically detects the combat scenario and adapts with the best response automatically based upon its spec, available abilities, and certain datum from the fight.

i use earthshield when i fight random mobs with my low level friends, but i guess im just wandering about gathering i dont need any shield at the moment.

That usually means that the profile you're using doesn't match your level. IB should have a blank profile it uses itself in order to avoid that. I can't explain it better than raphus does, sorry. I know what he means, but I can't explain it.

As Zeldrak mentioned that message means you have loaded a profile that doesn't contain any information that can be used with your character. It could be as simple as you have told InstanceBuddy to Grind while you  are waiting in the LFD Queue, but you haven't loaded a suitable Grind  profile for it to run while you are waiting.  Or, it could be an issue with the profile you are using, or possibly an issue with InstanceBuddy.  If you are unfamiliar with using InstanceBuddy, I would start with that thread and review the information on how to configure and run.

Whenever I try to load a profile, I get this error message. This is the same with when trying to load Shaman.cs

Appears to be broken with newest HB2 release (3881), just hangs out in the GY in WSG forever, with "Activity: Resting". Haven't tried it outside of BG's yet, will report back.

rawrasaurus, Sorry for the rough start for you. Here are a few suggestions:

1. Search for a New Users Guide or visit the Wiki on this site for New User information. It should walk you through HonorBuddy installation and usage. The problem you are having shown by the file above and your description is trying to Open the Shaman.cs file. Once installed, you don't have to think about that file again. You want to Open an XML profile (created by yourself or downloaded from this forum) which tells HonorBuddy where to go and what to do (grinding, question, farming, etc...) It would be worth reviewing some of that startup info before posting again.

2. See the ShamWOW FAQ [CLICK HERE] which is post #2 in this thread for details on how to post an issue in this thread if you are having a Shaman specific problem. The partial copy/paste of the Log window provided above isn't the same as attaching a complete debug log file. The FAQ will provide the steps explaining how to do this so complete info is available to help you.

3. If you are still stuck getting it going, send a PM to Tony. He is amazing at helping new users get up and going as quickly as possible.
