[Plugin] MapRunner

I want to ask if it's a must for the plugin to change the settings from "Rare" to "Magic" if it run's out of alchs and save that setting until I change it back by myself? Couldn't it just do lower grade upgrade until he'll find new orb of alchemy? Same goes for chisels.

That requires constant stash scanning for a required orb. Its a nightmare for users that have 20+ stash tabs.
Also how to detect that previously user had Upgrade to Rare, or maybe it was always Magic?
Its all possible ofc, but requires additional gui settings and considerable amount of coding.
 
Hello Ex,

bit of a problem here: seems plugin does not recognize anymore the settings I give it. I set like max 73 normal and it keep trying to add blues and rares...same thing with selling.
I have deleted the folder and reinstalled maprunner but still the same....was fine for last month tho...any idea?

Plugin will run magic and rare maps anyway. By setting Upgrade to normal you are telling plugin that you do not want spend any currency on maps.
If some settings do not work check "\Bot folder\Settings\Default\MapRunner.json", does it have correct values?

I see, my fault I had unid option set. :) getting too old for this.
 
Set "Max map level" to 69 and disable map selling.
The problem is that when he runs out of 69 maps the bot stops.If you can make it so that he will auto increase the tier of maps when there are no longer maps of the current tier will be rly great.Another thing is that when you set it to 69 and disable map selling my stashes are getting stuffed with maps...Any workaround suggestion?

I noticed that the bot sometimes kills a pack of mobs and instead of continuing the path, it goes to a completely different one (sometimes 360 turn) and goes to a farther place to kill another pack of mob and then comes back to continue the path that he left before. This is taking too much time, am i doing anything wrong?

Yes you are, and No you are not.

Bot does not have any "constant" exploration path. It chooses where to go dynamically, for more info read the "How plugin explores the map" article on the first page.
 
btw: is the huge performance loss while bot is running still on the watchlist?
the poe servers got a bit better performance now, but you can still see the performance drop when you start the bot.

and 2nd: as far as i have seen the bot got the "stutter step" problem at the beginning of some maps. Maybe because of exploration/routing to the chests.
this stutter step problem looks very "botish". it's better when the map is already explored OR when the bot has to fight anyway.

Ignore all chests? Produces more stucks?

What is "watchlist"? What does "produces more stucks" mean? Do you use google translate?
Stutter step is old as hell. I have my own "lite" open chest plugin and still have it. You'd better ask Pushedx about that.

Of Course there's going to be resource taken if you attach the bot... that's what running another program does. You do not magically run programs without using CPU.
The bot has to make calculations and whatnot, math = CPU usage AFIK.

The thing is, are you mapping with an audience watching? It's like if a tree falls in the forest do you hear any sound. Except, if you are mapping alone, can anyone see you map?

Time to upgrade your RIG? And if you are in VMware, blame virtualization, not the bot.

if you are 100% sure that the stutter step is only client-side and GGG doesn't care; then it's ok.

and yes: i hate VM somehow, but it's the only way i have found out to run 2 or more bots.
i wish i had a solution to improve performance. like use GPU instead of CPU, but i haven't found out.

the main reasons why things get (or got) unstable:

- running in a VM
- running 2 or more VMs
- PoE servers and routing
- my own ISP and the VPN


i reduced from 2 VMs to 1 VM --> "display driver stopped responding and recovered" error message finally gone. no problems with that crap
GGG changed something in their routing --> less disconnects, better ping
GGG changed something with the game effects --> way better FPS, but still some maps left which produce heavy FPS drop


Changing my older GPU had no effect (easily understood, because performance of my CPU matters... (old i7))
Playing around with POE's graphic settings had no (or only small) effect
Using FPS limiter had no (or only small) effect


I think there won't be much profit if i change my i7 3770k 3,5ghz into a i7 4790k 4ghz
