Magitek - All in One

I am pretty sure it has to be the exact wording as in game. ie 'Poison' and not 'poison'

weird. no clue why its not interrupting for me then. So Cure 2 would be Cure II as in Cure then a space then two capital I's?

Looks like imma be typing the whole list alllll over again lol. Just did about 3 dozen spells and removed them and added them in lower case cause the upper wasnt working. Now imma be going back to upper, perhaps my problem was lying elsewhere. FML ^^

Thanks for the replies gents

The last RebornBuddy update seems to have broken Magitek. I tried a fresh install and still get this error everytime I start the bot using Magitek (it happens right before it attacks a target and the player will just stand there):

I'm assuming it has to do with the new mount logic for RebornBuddy?

I was about to post this EXACT same error. As a paladin, I run into range and then just stop (~20yds). I attack and do rotations seemingly normally if the mob approaches me, but I do not move.

Me too, i have the same problem

Supposedly the newest version of RebornBuddy (v168) fixes it. Give it a go.

Seems a slight delay needs to be put in for Arcanist summoning. I can't say for Summoner summoning yet as I'm only level 21, but when summoning a carbuncle it attempts to summon a second time as the delay between being summoning finishing and the carbuncle being added to the party is slight, but there. A delay of attempting to cast a second time of 1-2 seconds would probably suffice. I've got a ping time of 60ms and 60 FPS so its not just a lag or FPS issue on my end.

Also, running some fates with fate bot or switching targets with EX Combat Assist, it seems to prioritize casting ruin once or twice first over dots. Not a huge issue as the next cast is usually the dot rotation, but just a small little niggle that I think could use some ironing out. I thought at first this could be some way to maximize DPS for low HP targets, but it will still cast dots at low HP amounts after casting ruin.

Does anyone have a good interrupt list for general fates?

I am looking to add abilities to interrupts while leveling through fates just to reduce as much damage as possible since we can;t avoid AOE abilities yet. :)

Hi guys, as a PLD, is there a way to turn off using Fight or Flight & Bloodbath everytime it is not on cooldown?

Question...

Combat settings > General > Rest Energy

Is this a percentage? Anything under 100 it seems to do nothing. Anything above 100 it seems to rest to 100 (but sometimes waits even longer).

Ideally I would like to deplete energy down to maybe 10%, rest to full, and keep pulling. Is this not an option?

I unchecked the Single Target CoS and it's still casting Circle of Scorn. Can we disable Circle of Scorn completely? If you want a log for that I can post it.

From what I understand it is percentage. However it doesn't kick-in instantly.

If your energy drops below 40% (default setting), the bot will keep attacking whatever your in combat with. However if your energy is still below 40% when it dies, the bot will rest (stand still) until you get back to 100% energy.

So in your case you'd set it to 10 and, if you're under 10% energy when you exit combat, the bot will stand there and recharge (assuming you're not still aggroed by something).

Just started trying this got it running fates quite well was wondering if i ran this with dungeons would it be able to tank/heal them efficiently or is it better to do those manually.

Don't use magitek.

Shots fired! lol

It seems the developer of RebornBuddy considers this Combat Routine abandoned.

Which I guess isn't a surprise considering this post:

It supports it as far as it'll work right now, I'M not supporting anything until Mastagh can support his own bot.

So the question is, will the two developers be able to work together again sometime soon or are we dead in the water until a new Combat Routine is developed?

As a side note I would like to add a few requests (if development is ever picked back up).

  • Sometimes Magitek will start doing an AoE rotation on a dungeon/raid boss. Adding them to the AoE ignore list does nothing (it works for some bosses, not others). Setting the number of AoE targets to a ridiculously high number helps but then it will never AoE (even if you turn on "AoE Mode" to try to force it). Even if this behavior can't be fixed, it would be nice if AoE mode would force the bot to absolutely use the AoE rotation, regardless of all other settings.
  • It would be nice if the Black Mage profile would use Quelling Strikes and possibly Virus (assuming Virus would be a DPS increase).
  • Magitek doesn't use Flare in the Black Mage AoE rotation. Only in the Single Target rotation (if the option is checked).

That's because exmortem supposedly was recoding the entire blm routine.

patience is key,

I Believe Magitek was Exmortems "learning project".

Since then he started another project and its just time before he releases it.

You could call it a learning project, I made it because there wasn't anything else, it actually got a lot further than I would have expected. I haven't touched it in a long time which is why the last few pages are nothing but bug reports.

I don't think he's ever used Magitek. Mastagh lives in a world where he believes Kupo is adequate, it's either that or he has neglected working on Kupo because Magitek was there but since he's telling people NOT to use it, that's doubtful. At this point Magitek is abandoned, there is a much better routine out there but it doesn't support all jobs yet.

As for all the requests, i'm sorry they're not going to be served and should be redirected towards Kupo. It's been enjoyable working with Magitek but i'm gonna move onto developing for WoW before the expansion.

This far better Routine, can't ya talk em into releasing it for the jobs it supports now? lol

Thank you for all your work Exmortem, the routine is the best when it comes to SCH healing.
