This far better Routine, can't ya talk em into releasing it for the jobs it supports now? lol

Thank you for all your work Exmortem, the routine is the best when it comes to SCH healing.

Sorry but no. I'm not going to release anything to the general public that isn't exactly at a point I'm comfortable with. If there's one thing I've learned in just watching this specific forum, it's that the public will want everything under the sun.

When I am done with every class and have every setting finished that I want, I will look to putting the Routine up on the Buddy Store, so those who wish to benefit from the use of something better than Kupo can purchase it and it will give me the incentive to keep working on it and making updates as requested.

It really is sad that Mastahg is the only Buddy Developer working on this Bot, but as long as that is the case, then you won't see any more free plugins/development from me.

Meh, human beings are demanding people. If you have a few classes done to your liking you could release it on the BuddyStore as in alpha stages, I don't mind paying for an unfinished product as an investment for a finished product eventually. I just want something that works better than Kupo and is compatible with the bot at its current stages.

Problem is, I do this on the side for fun....and people are paying for something, then they're going to expect a certain level of completeness.....at the least they will expect a certain level of activity as far as development of it. With me doing this in my free time, the development will/is going slow for it. I understand that you want something better than Kupo....personally I think it's pathetic that Kupo was ever released in the state that it was.......but unless you guys can get Mastahg to update Kupo, unfortunately, you will have to wait for it. Mastahg has not exactly been welcoming to plugin/Combat Routine developers, so I'm really no inclined to hurry up and rush to get something out the door so that he can get more $$ off of sales.

Once the next patch comes out and RebornBuddy breaks (forcing everyone to update to the newest version) I really won't have much reason to use it anymore. Without a decent Combat Routine (and Combat Assist) it'll pretty much be dead in the water (as other bots are MUCH better at crafting and etc. right now).

I feel like we're about to go into the dark ages with this bot for a while. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I'm aware of those bots, I have a subscription to one and it even has a slightly better Combat Routine. Just don't like the lag the bot causes which is why I am an avid user of RebornBuddy. It's sad, but unless if support is offered to 3rd party developers this bot may be just good for gathering only eventually.
 
ty. its awesome. but i have two questions.
i) turn on the bot and changed job then not work.
maybe can't detect current job.

ii) sometimes show range error.
my monk attack a monster. but sometimes can't anything. just displayed range error

how fix it?

The bot doesn't support changing jobs. You need to restart the bot if you want to change jobs.
 
Sorry if this has been asked, I read 25 pages and kinda gave up, figure it's easier to just ask.

I know this has been brought up in other threads but I never found an answer to it;
When using Magitek, if the enemy is closer than your "Pull Range" and not directly in front of you, your character will target it and just stand here doing nothing.
If you manually face your character toward the enemy, or the enemy moves far enough away from you to trigger the "Pull Range", the bot will wake up and immediately attack.

Is there a solution to this? It doesn't have to be anything fancy, if there is an easy way around it please let me know.
Hopefully someone much smarter than me knows what is up with this.

Make sure "Auto Target" is checked. Also, if you're playing WHM, I found it worked better to decrease the Pull Range (in the job settings) to match the Pull Range in the General settings.

I am not a pro, by any stretch of the words, (rather I am learning), but as far as I can tell, you are loading Kupo here and not Magitek?
 
He's using Magitek. There are calls for it in the log.

It sounds like the same problem we had when the auto-mount feature was first introduced. Make sure you have the mount option unchecked in RebornBuddy as it doesn't work with Magitek. Also make sure you're using Auto Target and Auto Initiate (with a range of 20 yards or so).

Although I don't know if that will fix it or not. I'm still on version 167 (the version before the new mount/combat code was introduced).

Exmortem has stopped all support for this CR. Posting errors will not be addressed anymore.

The community is still around to help. Someone else may know the solution or be able to dig up an answer in the .cs file similar to the poster above me that was able to answer the mount issue.
 
Not sure what your take on the situation is. Neither can I assume any stress or pressure that people are putting on you. I feel bad that that their is a lack of developers for the bot and the lack of supporters to the bot. Being you and maybe a few others. I am surprised at the lack of developers for such a popular game...
