Magitek - All in One

Status
Not open for further replies.
I made a new SVN to make it easier for people to keep track of new files and versions, and I might make a new OP too if it's ok with Exmortem. I attached a new version that will easily update with tortoiseSVN, and my new SVN page is at https://code.google.com/p/magitekcr/ . I have to look into Endus' BLM to see what he has changed before I put it into my version, so if you really need his modified BLM profile, use the version he uploaded instead.

I think this may have something to do with running in French as the beginning of the log suggests. It looks like you already have excombatassist installed, but you may want to try reinstalling that and the latest version of Magitek just to be sure. I tested it myself a couple minutes ago and had no problems using the WHM profile, and none of those error messages really make any sense in this context.

Thank you for your answer Ichiba! I had to re-download a new RB to it working again! But his works fine on my interface in French!

New SCH and PLD routines tested and confirmed fixed of single target Shadow Flare & Circle of Scorn.

But also discovered something as a SCH:

While casting/casted Damage Over Time spells like Bio, Bio II, Miasma & even Miasma II, it will cause a FPS drop for that period of time when the spell effects appears for that moment. Will not have this problem when RebornBuddy is paused, not started or totally not opened. Sadly it almost makes it unplayable due to the gfx lag.. can this be only me?

I don't get this problem, maybe your computer is really slow? Here's two things to try.

Open up ...RebornBuddy/Settings/YourCharName/MagitekSettings.json and replace the number in line 20:

"PulsesPerSecond": ##,

with a lower number and see if that helps (I'm not sure this is actually implemented anymore).

If not, try opening task manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), right click RebornBuddy.exe > Set Priority > Below Normal.

Let me know if that makes it any better. I swear there used to be a text box in excombatassist or magitek somewhere to change the pulse rate, but it looks like it's not there anymore or I'm just missing it.

Yes I find it weird as well. My PC is quite new, and able to perform maximum and ultra on the most recent stuffs. I seldom use SCH, but when I did on the older versions of RB previously, this problem didn't occur as I did also do DPS as a SCH. Also experiencing this "lag" after lowering all the graphic options to low.

What exactly does the Pulses Per Sec settings do...? By default it was at 30, I changed it to 5 and noticed only a very very small difference. Doesn't happen on other jobs.

How do I set Magitek to spam skills less often in terms of for example:

[02:41:02.207 N] [Magitek] Casting Bio

Not try to cast something e.g. Ruin so many times within that 1 second Global Cooldown, just got a gut feeling maybe this is the cause.

Hmmm... Not sure right this second. Ill try looking at it later. Can you post your actual log file from around when it happens instead of just the text from the log window? Also, try turning off the frame lock option in the excombatassist botbase.

Okay thanks, will attach a log soon. Btw I've never checked that frame lock option... what does it do?

getting this error when using magitek on a Dragoon
Tried a wholy new intalled RB and still get same thing.. it apparently works on my other classes.

Also i noticed that when ever i enable combat assist that it will turn off "Automatically face target when initiation autoattack". you fix this by unticking it and ticking it again.. very annoying.

By any chance did you uncheck Use Food in Combat Settings>General?

I am having an issue updating via svn. I get this:

Code:
Command: Checkout from https://code.google.com/p/magitekcr, revision HEAD, Fully recursive, Externals included
Error: Unable to connect to a repository at URL 'https://code.google.com/p/magitekcr'
Error: Unexpected HTTP status 405 'Method Not Allowed' on '/p/magitekcr'
Error:
Error: Additional errors:
Error: OPTIONS request on '/p/magitekcr' failed: 405 Method Not Allowed
Completed!:

Are you sure you're doing this correctly? Right-click the Magitek folder and hit "SVN Update". If that still gives you that same error message, right-click the folder > TortoiseSVN > Relocate > https://magitekcr.googlecode.com/svn
Is anyone else having this problem? I even tried this on a different computer with a fresh install of TortoiseSVN and it didn't do this.

As far as the using food thing, it looks like it's non-functional on every class I tried, and breaks dragoon. Just uncheck "Use food" under the General combat settings and it will work again (without eating) until I look into it more.

For the targeting issue, you kind of combined two different menu items in your quote, but it doesn't really matter. For some reason, the regular combat assist botbase automatically disables autofacing when it's started. If you download and use Excombatassist instead, it won't do this. If for some reason you really really want to use the stock combat assist, you can disable this by going into ...RebornBuddy/BotBases/RaidBro/RaidBro.cs and change line 132 to read

GameSettingsManager.FaceTargetOnAction = true;

instead of false. I don't know why it's set up like this, but it's not magitek's fault.

Edit: or i guess you could also tick autotarget in magitek, but that also does some other behavior you may or may not want.

Not try to cast something e.g. Ruin so many times within that 1 second Global Cooldown, just got a gut feeling maybe this is the cause.

Magitek is programmed to spam spells in an attempt to queue them up in advance (to adjust for latency) and to make it appear more "human like". As far as I know you can adjust how many times each spell is cast by going to the specific profile and adjusting the number at the end. For instance:

Casting.Cast(r => "Ruin", r => !Core.Player.IsCasting, r => Core.Player.CurrentTarget, r => 3, r => false)

That 3 should mean that Magitek will spam Ruin 3 times every time it attempts to cast it.

I'm not really sure that's the issue, and normally I wouldn't recommend poking around in the code (1 typo will break a lot of stuff), but if you want to play with it just keep a backup of the original just in case. :)

Updated the SVN to add Endus's Black Mage changes. Works much better now. Nice job.
