Ex, are there any specific settings I should look at as a paladin tank? Often I will be in a dungeon and it will use "flash" until there is no more mana left.

It should use Flash till you're below the amount you specified in your settings. There's currently no way of checking enmity so there's no "intelligent" way of using abilities that generate threat. With that being said, i've currently stopped work on Magitek since i've moved on to a better project. I'll try to maintain things that completely break it but I feel that it's in a more than usable state compared to its counterpart.
 
I've restarted the bot multiple times and it still wouldn't eat the food. Then suddenly the bot crashed (bunch of red text, errors) and after restarting it again it's eating whatever food I specify.

No idea what happened but I guess I'll just keep an eye on it.

it has been said MANY times....if you want help...post a log. We cannot troubleshoot anything unless we see what is going on.
 
Can i get some help - my bot refuses to work i i dont understand why. Here is my log file.

Currently only being supported for an English client. Sorry, but can't help with this one.

As a work-around for enmity, could you instead check to see if our current target's target is the player?

This is what Provoke should currently do, it provokes a target that isn't targeted onto the player but is within a certain range and is in combat - Apart from that there's not much to do. If you target a target that's not aggro'd to you it'll start using the threat rotation on it anyways.

Honestly I looked through the logs and there really was nothing there. It was as if I didn't even have the option checked (even though as you can see in the screenshot I did).

It was probably just a glitch in a configuration file since it recovered after that random error. A clean install would have probably been the correct solution.

Speaking of Paladin suggestions. I'm Fate Grinding (using Fatebot) and I noticed that Magitek doesn't have the Paladin cast Protect on itself or cast Sword Oath. Do those options exist and I'm just overlooking them? If not just throw that in the suggestion box. :cool:

When you decide to work on magitek again, for bard, would it be possible to weave the buffs throughout the rotation instead of using them all at once? Thanks in advance.
 
Also, would it be possible to add in an option to not use blunt arrow when interrupt is unticked? I know your busy with your other project, but when you have time it would be nice to be added. Thanks.
 
Is there a way to make it to where when It summons the chocobo it set's it to a specific stance?

any chance you could take a look at the smn profile? In parties, if with another smn/sch: it tends to just really spam bio over and over.
 
I'm not sure that the bot is capable of telling what buffs on the enemy are yours and which are someone else's... just whether the enemy has the buff or not. If it can't tell I'm not sure if that can be fixed. =/
 
We can tell which aura is ours. Summoner should only be casting Bio if the one on the target isn't ours so that's odd, I changed something, i'm not sure if it fixed it though.
 
I've noticed that Magitek will eat the food I specify for some Jobs and not others. Will it only eat food if the stats are beneficial to that Job or is it supposed to eat it regardless? I've been buying whatever cheap food I can find just for the EXP buff.
 
In content with lots of players (ie odin/ct/st) if there are too many buff/debuffs on the enemy to show, it keeps spamming the dot. For example in ST against scylla, i am a bard and it will use windbite/venomous bite. However if there are too many buff/debuff/dots on the enemy, it will actually keep spamming the dot that wont show on the enemy. Sorry if that doesn't make sense.

I don't know why the game wouldn't register that your dot isn't being applied on the target, it makes no sense. Do you actually see Venomous Bite or Windbite in green numbers indicating that those are yours? Or is it possible that the boss is actually immune to those casts? I'm asking because i'm pretty sure your own dots/debuff appear first on the list under a bosses name.
