Gold Missing on Suspended Account

You always have gains from botting.

when u cr bot and only do pvp or bg, you make gold as well.

Deffo not 200 k, but you make quite some gold a day just by doing random whatever.
Even questboting makes you 10-15 k alone lvling 90-100.

Therefor theres no way to decide what gold was legit in your opinion and i cant see them taking
the hassle for it to find out.

The funny thing is, i'm almost betting that they removed the gold that was in no way, shape or form related to my botting activities, but didn't remove the Nat Lucky coins from my inventory (or all the fish in there...)..
So, the direct product of my botting activities will probably stay (fish+coins), but the legit gold will go.

If that happens, i'm so going to laugh :/

Oh well, like someone said, overall i'm happy to get my main back... maybe i'll buy a wow token and try to sell in the AH for some initial gold... (that's it, when i make 1silver to cover the AH expenses...lol)

The second you kill 1 mob with a cr, you have gold gains from botting.

therefor there is no difference, if you botted on the account, you gained from it
and therfor there is no difference made imo.

Also there is no way to decide what items are legit. the thing that will hurt you most
is gold, so they take that.

Jezz...how can i say this in a way you can understand?
I didn't use a cr. I did not kill 1 mob using the bot.
I used the fishing bot.
I fished Lunkers to trade for Nat Coins. And i can see all the fish in my bags (from the website).

So, by your logic, if they cannot tell which items are legit, they should have cleared all the bags as well?
Since, by your logic, they can't tell if the gold is legit or not, so they just take it all.
Cause, tbh, in my case it would make more sense to clear the bags than the gold.
Fish in the bags are "dirty", while the gold was "clean".

Also, I was always somehow aprehensive about the unbanning of our accounts. (if they are going to be unbanned at all, cause i start to get a funny feeling about that too.)

Your penalty was the 6month suspension. Removing the gold, without even knowing if it was legit or not, seems like you're paying for the same mistake twice.
Having the conversation reminds me of a certain wow forum post where someone said that the unbanned accounts should return with no gold, no gear, no nothing, and a special mark above your characters head, so that everybody could see you botted and could throw you rot apples while they hang you in the trade district AH.

Wow i understand the above point now, and still i dont think its abnormal.

Then u botted, and they punish you. But its bad cause they take your gold?

Be glad it isnt a perma ban. Some of you really. I wont touch my old account
with a 10 foot pole. Why would i, more lvl 100 here then i can ever want / need.

It wil be a fallback account, to go to when this botting is over and done.

Inbefore the forums are flooded with 100's of people being banned on current
account cause they start sending 100.000's of gold between accounts.

And what part of all the fish are still in the bags have you not understand? No money was made out of fishing cause the fish are still there, in the bags!
So, i log in, with 0 gold, but then i go and sell the fish i have in my bag in AH to make gold...How stupid can that be?

THAT should been bannable, cause the fish was caught in "non-legit" way.
So, what am i supposed to do with it when i log? just delete it?
Cause if i sell a product of my botting activities to make profit, then it will be a offense!

But nooo! Let's just take all the gold from everybody away...so much easier.

The GM i've spoken to said that the decision to remove all gold from my chars "was taken by the development team and won't be restored".

Think, for me, it's confirmed :/

There is no rhyme or reason for Blizz's actions regarding what gets removed from your account on suspension. It totally depends on the GM handling it.

If you did not appeal I suspect there is a better chance that anything you had would have been left alone.

Pathetic is the way you reply to people. Use some arguments instead of just bashing out.

By your oder of idea is ok for them to remove all the gold since they can't tell if said gold is legit or not.
Well then...
- delevel all chars to level 1 (they can't know if you used a bot to level)
- delevel all professions to level 1 (they can't know if you used a bot to lvl prof either)
- remove all your gear (they can't know if you botted in BG/arena/raid/whatever, so you don't deserve the gear you have)
- remove all your pets and mounts (hey, they can't tell if you used a bot to farm all those 7575154352435 runs it took for Invencible to drop, right?)
- also remove all your titles (can't know if you were botting when you achiev them..)

See the point?
The point is that taking away the gold will actually be profitable to them, because people are probbly going to use real money to get some gold again. And truth be told, it's very appealing right now.

Just be grateful that you're even getting your account back. Pathetic is that you're complainging about 200k. That is a drop in the bucket; I am out over 4mil which most of earned by legitimately flipping TCG mounts before all the dupes. This wasn't a QQ thread about losing gold, but just an observation that I noticed and wondered if others saw the same as well. It sucks but I am happy to at least be getting my account back, just wish I they would've left me enough to even take a damn flightpath.
