[Official] Banwave 1 February 2017 Discussion

Just got the ban hammer tonight while leveling a demon hunter. I haven't opened honor buddy in at last two to three months. All I can say is.....woooow. I've played on and off since beta and only used bot on the rare occasion for combat routines for doing boring daily quest grind. I never afk'd for resource grinding. This will be the end of WoW for me. Gg blizz, you ruined your own game. Good luck to everyone else out there.
 
I havent botted since they took the keys away and just got an email 23 mins ago...my Sub ran out the 26th to lol...GG
 
That's crazy man. Blizz is digging up some old shit and throwing shade on everyone
 
In my opinion bossland sold us out. They provided information of accounts used to bot as part of a settlement agreement. Just my 2 cents but seems highly plausible.

It seems to me we are having a repeat of the PQR scenario of a few year back, it was claimed back then that the creator of PQR sold the code to Blizzard for money (different figures) have been speculated and then Booom everyone who used it got done.
I have stop all botting 3 days ago and as it is, if there is in fact another ban going on today, is a shame but seems HB is really dead.
As some of the members who have been here for a long time, I will keep an eye on the forums , however as much as I love the bot is really hard to keep buying wow accounts well knowing that you will be detected. As many others I am aware there is a risk in botting I have been doing it for a long time but at the moment any botting feels just like suicide as is no longer a question of would I be detected but when.

Well
I run two different account.
One with WOD and one with Legion
Both have are only 3 day old
WOD account it's botting right now, without issue(leveling)
Legion account, never used BOT... Just got it ban.
Now I understand all the some of you think said that warden does scan our computer the check the performance of the system or whatever.
I don't understand wtf just happened.
I had submitted a ticket to them, I know if %*#king useless, but I had share my disappointment to them
Do you suggest to bot with two different computer?

I think reading these dumb ass conspiracy theories and over the top raging might be even more enjoyable than wow it self.

That said, Bossland you might want to look into moving your operation into Russia. You can get around a lot of the legal issues you have. Either way...thanks for all your hard work. Honorbuddy is a great product and i hope to use it again soon.

This guy needs to realise its not the COST of the bot people care about

its spending close to $84 AUD PER legion account you have to buy, that gets banned when a banwave hits.

so 10 bots, you'd spend $840 AUD (MORE IN USD) let alone 250 EURO in bot keys.

now selling the gold for 100k at 20 USD

your onny looking at close to 6million gold

This. They could just make a new product called Abcbud, host it anywhere outside of US/EU and forget about the german court and other bs, then get rid of the detection, make sure it is safe and let people use old keys with their new product, may be with some extra small fee to cover the costs for moving the stuff.

And yeah it's really funny to read all that, you guys should learn first how it's going in other MMO games before blaming Bossland or Blizz.

These bastards not only that, cancel your subscription to the key-duck they still can't ensure safe use. I'm telling you don't buy this shit bot, you expect a 100% ban. I haven't used the bot for 3 months with a ban all revno arrived. This suggests that these people are absolutely not competent and not able to work. If you have ever launched this bot are 100% ban. I am very sorry I contacted these bastards. I hope they will sue.

yeah ..stopped botting 7 weeks ago. banned for 18 month. FUCK THIS SHIT BOT!
 
Wife and i stopped botting some days before our lifetimes were revoked. The game is ok but just didnt fascinate any more. Ban came today. So they have been stockpiling detections for quite some time. As this is our second ban, first being march 16, we are gone for good now. Thanks while it lasted...
 
Thought i would share my 2cents as well , got banned just now on a battlechest account i bought just after November banwave. Last time i botted was before christmas and have not had the energy to bot again after that yet , my guess would be that HB has been detectable for quite a while after the last major banwave or just plain the whole time. The only good thing is i have not upgraded the account to legion yet , perhaps that is why the ban was delayed /shrug

My backup legion account that i run on my main pc without botting software is fine though.

Related note , was the other buddy bots also hit ?

As it have been commented on discord, this is not valid plan, due to the huge degree of corruption in Russia, he would last not more than a month, before local authorities realize what a milk cow have arrived to their place and start their blackmailing.

Plus, Russia is officially supporting the western corporations, in return to their $$$, of course, so once the stuff goes to the Russian court, Bossland would have no chance.
