Will you buy a new key if you had a lifetime key?

I will not be buying another key. I will be considering have my payment retrieved however - all I need to do is a little paperwork at my bank.

Sorry but your company's situation is your own problem.

Sure it has been fun using your products but at the end of the day I am not required to fund any legal fights or issues you face - that's 100% on you.

My relationship with Bossland extends only as far as I am paying them for a service (i.e. accessing a bot). Anything from the their end towards other issues is not my concern.

Who's to say that after you purchase a new, lets say 1 year key, that 2 months after that, the reduce it to a 3 month key? You really can't trust them after this is all.

I bought another key. I was upset just like the rest of you about having to purchase a new key and losing my lifetime status. It sucked, it was sudden, and it was just plain B.S.

However, as a business owner myself, I understand. Whether what they did was legal or not, I don't know. I can only assume that Bossland had many discussions with his lawyer(s) to make sure there was nothing "wrong" with what they did. I highly doubt Bossland, the only person taking on Blizzard, would be that stupid.

Court costs aren't cheap. Especially when you have more than one against a gigantic multi-million dollar company like Blizzard.

It sucks, but as a business owner, you have to do what you have to do. It's life.

Keep on fighting Bossland.

Hell yes best bot out there been using since 2012 made millions of gold with my lifetime, so many millions now, they need our help to stay alive, I already repurchased a new one and plan on buy a few more next payday!!!!!!!!

Am I going to cry about having to pay around $30 a year for a key that I originally paid $20 for 5 years of botting? No. I think the CR prices are outrageous. It was a good idea to help circumvent the amount of money they lost with all of the lifetime buyers like myself who used their keys for so long but I think at the end of the day freemium botting wasn't enough. It makes sense, and for something a lot of us have used (even to make money ourselves) we should be fully supporting Boss. Lawsuits aren't cheap and especially not cheap with money like Blizz prosecuting. However, recent customers (such as from the past year) should be eligible for credit if they paid the full price for a lifetime key. But those of us who paid $20 something for lifetime key and have used them for years - stop your bitching. I've made more than my investment 10-fold, if you haven't gotten a job or can't afford it 5 years later that's on you. You can't use a quote from 2012 and think nothing will change in 5 years - that's bad business, thanks obama.

Lmao hell no I won't be buying another key. I bought 4 lifetime keys not "Until we feel like revoking your access keys."

Just be honest with what this is. A last ditch effort to make as much money as you can before closing down HB.

That's exactly what this is. Last ditch effort. He lost the court case in Germany, where he lives. He's on borrowed time.

It`s the entire community that is losing, and the entire community should support his efforts on our behalf. Simple as that.

OK, I am older than most of you and have spent the last 30 years in software so my perception may be a bit different than yours. First to Bossland, I have never in my life seen a company so badly in need of a true customer service rep. It appears you simply put your developers as customer facing entities and wow !!what a huge mistake that is....Devs do not have the customer service skills to keep people happy, yes they fix issues but that is rarely what keeps customers coming back time after time. You need full time customer facing people who's job it is make the customer happy. This by no means is give them the world but people who know how to take a pissed off customer or even a worried customer and give them the "warm fuzzy" that keeps them spending money even if the product is broke. Also, I realize you are in germany and guess what, your attitude in germany DOES NOT work for Americans or Chinese or etc....Again, you need qualified people who understand that culture to deal with them on their own level. This is not hard to do, nor is it expensive and the return on investment pays off time and time again.

Anyways, I am a lazy gamer here in my retirement so Yes I purchased another key after you took my lifetime key but that will be the last time that happens unless I see a far more professional business face from your company.
I hope to see many improvements in the future
Cheers

I played by hand for 12 hours and you know what....I fuckin hated it.
I dont care about bosslands situation. I dont care personally about any company.
Lifetimes got revoked...its a little annoying how they went around it.
HB is still the best bot to use and I still have what I purchased on store.
Fuck principles, I bought a 12 month sub and I'm happily botting again.
Until Bossland decides that 12 months is too long and revokes your key after 2 months because they need the money......

NEVER.
I have 7 legion accs i cant bot on now, but I refuse to buy new keys.
Ill still help people on the forums, but I wont support this scammy company anymore.

Hah Tony, you removed the poll? Are you afraid you wont make enough cash from the people that paid already or will pay before hb dies completely in the next week because of the courts? I figured you of all people would at least want some kind of statistics of who would or wouldn't buy another key to see if hb can survive a little longer, but I guess not, you must already know the outcome. I thought lifetime was lifetime?

I just dont get it! Why is everyone freaking out? I could understand if everyone was freaking out, and HB has not chaged. It has been the same, no events happend, and then a mad cash grab!!!! But that isnt the case here. Some big changes have happend, and they are doing what they can to stay alive. Now here is the way i look at it. Had Bossland decided to do what every other company that created a bot has done, and tuck tail and run, you all would be with out a bot a long time ago, and he would have kept his profits. But Bossland took on Blizz, and ate most of his profitsm, fighting for the company, and for you alls ability to bot. With the way everyone is acting i would hve just tuck taled and ran, and i am sure he probebalky regrets it now. Boss did his part to keep HB going for you all to enjopy. Do you really think its to much for you to help keep HB afloat. I myself had 4 or 6 lifetimes on different accounts, owned everything in the buddy store. It hits me hard, but oh well, there isnt a bot like htis anywhere so ill gladly sacrificee. I do understand that when you get up there with a crapload of keys you can afford that a month. Damn id swear i was listening to my ungrateful 16 year old tell me how he didnt like his new ford 95 f150, because he thinks he should have the 216 tundra at 16. lord. i bet you Boss is workign on a time maching right now to go back and keep his profits. insterad of fighting to keep botting.

Dont get me wrong, i do agree with the gripes from the community Devs, they need beter taken cae of. They shouldnt have to pay for a key, and they def should get more mon. But i own a key to every bot that I know of, and HB is the most full functioning.

Questing, which I use it for, has gotten slower with HB 3.0. I used to be able to AFK quest bot for a day or two and be pretty well toward cap. Now, it's taking over a week.

Bought a new one.. paying around 15$ for a LoL script a month, now i used that bot for about 3 years for laughable 25$ or something.. i know, its kind of a shady thing to do and stuff, but i dont think its that much money to ask for in comparison to other sites / programs out there.
much sorry for my bad englando

you have been kidding us or you are blind :)

there is an announcement under dev section about keys and developers

Sad sad sad day, My lifetime key was over $100 USD and is now expired. Long game bait and switch. If you are going to make sweeping changes like that.... the two years for EVERY key needs to start from the change date. I have been a long time Buddy and this is the last straw.

Trust is earned not given. And you have just erased all trust your user base had. The only people that will stick around are people who have no where else to go.

I've been reading all the forum posts for a while now...

TL;DR = yes, and if you thought this was like buying something at Wal-Mart that's your own fault

I think I too have run the gambit of responses to the change. Even though I'm a long time leech/lurker I still felt like I was part of a secret club or something; we were all in this together. In that respect I was hurt/disappointing to have my key(s) revoked. Then I took a step back and thought...I'm being a bit childish and naive.

This isn't like buying a product from a publicly traded company. This whole thing is gray area stuff, that's why bossland is in court, that's why the community is more hacker (in a good sense) than Dev. We're paying them to help us cheat...ffs did you guys honestly think something shady/off would never happen? Botting is never safe...isn't that the recurring phrase? Why did we only think that applied in-game?

Look, bottom-line, I'm not a Dev, I'm not a gold farmer, I just bot to keep up and pay for game tokens. 3 session key is what 60 Euros a year? So $6 a month? Fine, that's almost nothing. The drama from all the screaming is what's getting on my nerves. I was with you in the beginning, I understand why you're upset, I get it. It's done now. Buy in or don't idgaf, but the legitimate grievances are starting to come across like my ex who just couldn't let stuff go. Life is too short for drama. I'm gunna pay my $6, you're gunna do what you wanna do, bossland did was he did, let's get on with our lives. So from this point on I'm firmly in the camp of tits or stfu.

Ah, the rich american culture. So, you are saying HB should hire a person, specifically to lie and deceive the customers? To give them warm fuzzy? Aha. And we are all sheep here, that can't tell when the product is bad, or broken. I guess that works in America, and that is possibly the reason whole Europe takes them as a joke in general.

And let me tell you something buddy, for the ''old experienced dude'' like you represent yourself, your morals are really on the bottom of the pit. That way of customer service you just gave example of, is a class A cancer. The worst spawn of modern business practice. Nobody needs that shit here.

Botting is never safe...isn't that the recurring phrase? Why did we only think that applied in-game?

And by this you say it's OK for every company, yes Bossland is a registered company to cheat their customers?
Amazing how stupid people can be and think that just because this company creates software for cheating means that this company can brake consumer contracts etc.
