Funny thing about "Lifetime Clauses" since i see alot of you talking blindly trying to throw out rules of lifetime subs.
When the core infastructure of Honorbuddy Changed from revision 1 to revision 2 (like gatherbuddy 1 - 2) i am not talking about patches, but when the core programming changes so much from its original basis, when the lifetime subscriptions are released, then the lifetime of THAT product is over. Just like if the conditions of a job changes dramatically from when the job is offered, a new job offer/agreement must be drawn up. You cannot change the base model of a car during a lease, without changing the specifics of that lease. Why? Because it becomes something else than the original product.
The option was kill the lifetime sub, or Kill HB. Instead of being greatful that HB will be continuing, so many of you jump on this bandwagon that honestly makes you sound VERY self entitled.
Hey, I lost a lifetime key, but you know what? I got more value out of it than what I paid for it. So did each and every one of you. You jumped on something because you thought it was a steal, and now that you cant ride out that steal, you are acting very upset. I get it, it sucks, but if you are only here for a cheap key, then you really don't care about the future of the product or the community, then you don't want that support.
Also, you bought a lifetime key, but you never bought the support, the countless hours of updates, none of that, you bought a key for a specific product, so maybe you should get your keys, for that version that was released when you got it, and maybe instead you should be forced to pay for each time you need support.
But I digress, I could point out a million ways that your thinking has been very shallow minded at best, but the argument is a waste of time when you guys just want a reason to complain honestly.
The call was made, please move on with your lives and understand, that the decision was made for the greater good.
