Trinity - Demon Hunter Class

hello all , who farm 3 act inferno by DH? how much deaths what bilds? and stats? what plugins you choose

110k DPS, 5.5k Armor, 660 Allres, 52k HP. Roughly 4dph.

Bat, Gloom, Back up Plan, ROV-Stampede, Devouring Arrow, Ball Lightning

Trinity/Act 3 Profiles/ Rads Atom.

Interesting... do you set the Kite distance?
 
Issues regarding PLugin
1) Vaulting:
at inappropriate times. i.e to increase movement speed (as in move a greater distance once having rezzed from death)
Also still having issue of DH vaulting into a mob packs instead of away from them

2) Gloom
Not using gloom with priority and using it when not supposed to

3) Instead of kiting backwards, the DH still decides to confront mobs/elite at melee distance. This in turn has cause my player to sometime stop dpsing once he is surrounded. In this cause he should have used vault to escaped and/or not have run into the mob to attack the from melee range

4) Still decides to stand onto on landmines

5) will not move away from arcane sentry, but tries to cross it and gets hit. I can take 1-2 hit but more i cant so he gets hit more than that

6) Doesnt always attack enemy that is closest, but at a random distance

7) will run into mob packs in order to obtain health orbs, instead of killing them or kiting or using potions

8)manages to corner himself while attacking elites or mobs therefore dieing

When playing around with Kite setting, can anyone tell me if a difference was observed and at what settings was it most beneficial. Im currently dying anywhere from 7-13 per hour

I'm doing A2 champs with 4/6 dph, i can make a3 but it's dying to offten

Kite setting - only difference that i saw was gph going down due to running more.

About vaulting in to mobs, it's cool with cinders. It's massive dmg

The arcane issue: i have no idea why he dies on them by moving through them. i currently increased range of avoidance of them to 30, so will check the results.

I dont need more damage, I need more survivability. When I play either in a grp or solo. I manage to die 3-4 in the entire act 3 clear from beginning to end. Now how come my bot cant achieve the same results. Also ToC is getting nerf and it uses up my disc which I currently need for gloom. I have very high dps w/o SS and have good AR and HP. Of course I could swap out the MF gem in my helm for a Life gem, but i prefer not to. So IMO i would recommend using ToC unless u farm act 2, which im not since Im only farming act 3. He is very dumb witted when it comes to arcane sentry, even when I increase the range he still dies. Not bc of arcane but bc he begins to move around alot and forgets to attack therefore cornering himself. So in both default and high arcane sentry its a loose loose situation. I dont mind him trying to move out of the way, but then he runs back bc of the loot even though its set at 800. Also why doesnt he attack once mobs are getting close to him. Ive notice that sometime he will get stand there taking a beating w/o attacking
 
Giles can you have a look on those kitting issues, and arcane sentry - no idea if it's class specyfic
 
So far what I've found, for 1.0.5, change
{SNOPower.DemonHunter_ShadowPower, 3000}
to 5000
(lasts 5 seconds now, recast after 5 instead of 3)

For Rain of Vengeance, since its just a 30s cooldown, i changed it from
(iAnythingWithinRange[RANGE_25] >= 7 || iElitesWithinRange[RANGE_25] >= 1)
to iAnythingWithinRange[RANGE_25] >=1
for dark cloud, keep it up for objects and stuff it runs into
 
my DH always try to hit mobs 'through' the wall. any idea where i went wrong?

does anyone have a demon hunter that can do act3 without much problems at all? im debating if i should even put money into a demon hunter or not depending on if they can do act3.
 
Trying to find out why the plugin doesn't recognize the sentry spell... I changed the "dCurrentEnergy" line and the Timer to "8000" but still not working.

yeah i do about 2-4 deaths per hour and does a complete run with no problem, ill post a DH guide tmr, been thinking of doing this for a while.
When i first started botting it was really hard for me to get the bot up and running so i figured id go ahead and submit a guide.

Sentry Turret needs a Db update as far as I can tell. I think something changed in D3 memory for the location of that ability (I guess that ability had a serious makeover?). I'll go poke the DB devs!
 
man my DH is having a hard time in act3 with a MP 1-3 lol. 630ish AR, 777 LoH, 35k life, 80k without sharpshooter..3371 defense.
 
I just noticed, why does my DH keep re-summon it's companion?
 
My DH seems to be still casting companion despite being already there. It seems most of the times this happens when we're moving, so the companion and follower are a little behind our character.
