Trinity - Demon Hunter Class

Requesting fix for teh above stated issue :(
the DH just stands there shooting in the direction that the mobs will spawn ... but wont spawn until you move abit closer ..
Dont know if it would be possible to set some kind of option that is like "if X mobs, be in 30yard range when killing" ish :)

fixed it myself... its a very very dirty and quick fix ....

Basicly i edited the trinity file so that it will only use multishot and hungering arrow (the 2 skills i use) if there is any mobs in a 50 feet radius (default is 69f)
And since my kill radius is set to 50 its fine for me
That solved it for me...

Hungering arrow:
in line 7737 i changed the "69f" to 50f
So the line will look like this
return new GilesPower(SNOPower.DemonHunter_HungeringArrow, 50f, vNullLocation, -1, targetCurrent.iThisACDGUID, 0, 0, USE_SLOWLY);
Multi shot
Changed line 7637 to 7639 to this

So now it should only use thoes 2 skills to mobs within a 50 feet radius of the char...
I'm not a specialist, so i'm not sure what this does 100% , but it seems to have fixed the problems with the winged dicks... and to my understanding it will also only shoot at goblins if they are closer then 50 feets.

Thank you, it works now. do i have to keep changing the cs file every time their is a new trinity update? seeing as how it has been said that the plugin is working as intended.

Its up to Giles to decide whether or not he wants to change it.
So unless he decides to redo a bit of the functionality of the DH, you would have to make the change manually each time he updates his plugin.
However i see no reason why i cant be fixed in a more permanently way :)

As for the "working as coded" comment, it was more meant as a joke ;)
But lets see what he does , once he gets well and back on his feet :) IMO I would much rather have him work on the scoring system, since I'm to big of a noob to fix that ;)
 
here is my feedback after a day of using this bot (and any bot in d3 for that matter). I'm running a DH, lvl 38 paragon, 143k unbuffed dps, 62k life, crappy resists.
1: Not a big deal but bat companion is spawned every time the cool down clears. Bat companion only needs to be activated once unless you die. just a waste of discipline.
2: The DH frequently jumps into the middle of elite packs / large packs before attempting to shoot. I would like to see more of a kite to the outside then shoot, as opposed to tanking and taking all the damage. I have changed a few things in the config file but my knowledge is limited. I'm not trying to be negative, just constructive criticism for how the script could be better for a DH.
3: I frequently skip rather large groups of non-elites. They are clearly in the screen but my DH just vaults right by them. Seems more efficient to take two shots and kill them.

Great work though and thanks for the hard work!

is it possible to activate shadow power when it comes across a pack that has reflect damage? sometimes end up 1shotting myself :D been hackin away at the code abit but cant seem to find it for the code reflect damage, theseaffixes.HasFlag(MonsterAffixes?
 
I have made a little modification too and want to share, if you have some gear to do in nightmare with mp and no problems i suggest that change values of the use of rain of vengeance to use it all the time because it will kill monsters for you and don't stop the bot.

We've recently issued several rounds of account bans for cheating in Diablo III. kill monsters that were beyond the normal range at which AI is triggered - this is especially true for DX
DX often shoots at monsters that are outside the screen, reducing the radius of the attack is not very helpful
it is possible to fix?
 
Na, this doesn't effect DB, there was a Zoom-Hack which manipulated the Client so that you could zoom out at a distance which wasn't usually possible
 
Any idea how to avoid Trinity from blacklisting trash mobs? My DH seems to shoot one arrow to normal mobs and then forget about them, so sometimes as they don't die from that one shot, it just carries a bunch of mobs following...

Up the trash killing range in the config
(standard is 18)
"Trigger Range for non-Elite Combat" is basicly the same as kill radius in DB.
So up that to w/e and your DH is killing stuff

I'm usually using range 40, so that is not the problem. The issue is that even mobs in range 10-15 get ignored while the DH keeps running the profile. For example in Tower of the Damned, the DH keeps running despite it has 2-3 red devil mobs (the ones that came from below and jump to the path) and doesn't even bother killing them. Once it reaches a mob group and the red devils get to melee and hit the bot, then the bot kills them.
 
Hey guys, just did some quick tweaks which I thought was useful, so I thought I'd share. Sorry if they've already been discussed.

-Only use elemental arrow if >= 3 mobs (Hungering arrow for one or two mobs.)
-Use Gloom only when health <70% (Saves some discipline)
-Lowered radius of hungering/elemental arrow to 50.
-Fan of knives, radius to 20, and mobs >= 3.

Any other tweaks that are useful?

Edit: Nvm, Bat Companion already fixed in the Unified Giles file.

Hi, I'm successfully farming A3 (MP3) with a DH.
I made a change to GilesTrinity.cs to avoid vaulting while not in combat in an attempt to conserve discipline.

Patch is against GilesTrinity 1.6.3.4

What stats do you recommend I reach to farm MP1 A3?

My stats:
203k dps with sharpshooter
31k hp
332% crit dmg
61% physical reduction
48% reduction for everything else
453 LPS
2.60% Life steal
930 LPK
560 LPH
25% movement speed

Also what build do you suggest to use?
 
I got a question for anyone using DH for ACT3 and would just like to know how good/bad is this profile. From what i have seen all classes have been slightly reworked and are being modified to preform better, does this mean DH is at good state or the popularity of it is so low that it would be a waste of time compared to he number of user actually using it.
 
is there any way to make my DH kite while in (champion)combat, out of discipline and prep on cooldown? this is the only way im dying atm.
