For years I and many others shared our concern off people using HB to bot in all pvp environments..

I've been shut down and been told I'm a moron many times for sharing my concerns..

And this is the result, you forced the hand of blizzard and wiped us out..

If you ever went to the wow forums did you ever see

1. People bitching about leveling bots
2. People biting about Enyo raid bots
3. People bitching about garrison bots
No or if not never very often..

All you ever saw people was bitching about pvp bots, and rightly so you where directly effecting there game play..

Battlegrounds where non playable due to the about of bots..

I'm glad your now banned, it's a shame we had to go down with you..

I hold you directly responsible for this ban wave..

I prey and hope if HB ever returnes I hope they flat out disable pvp all together, to the point if the bot detects your in a pvp zone it shuts down the bot..


There are many of this forums who agree with me, but I know there are those that will call me all the names under the sun, and you are the ones I hope never get your account back..

To the devs, please disable pvp in all aspects in the future bots....

Well I can assure you the wow community never really gave a shit about leveling bots or gathering bots (a few hand farmers perhaps) but every second post on the forums was complaining about the amour of bots in pvp..

Please consider your actions I the future...

I have had the same concerns all these years. It always was too obvious. Everyone could tell who was a bot and who was not. No fancy tech involved... just by looking at them. Since i never botted in BG it could have hit those people only (?) because i didnt get banned and hell... i botted a lot. But i just used a rotation to "assist" me, not to do everything and farmed some stuff here and there.

And yes, you see someone get stucked and behave odd while leveling or farming or what not... but almost no one gives a "sh*t". Could be just afk or w/e... in BG it is most likley always a bot and he weakens the team so people get mad really fast as you can see on the forums.

the problem is that if HB doesnt offer honor farming then their competitors will and so they might lose some customers so unfortunately i dont think they will change anything or learn from their mistakes. but as long as random battlegrounds are unplayable due to bots i think the next banwave will always be just around the corner

However i wasn't playing for a couple of months and this is when it seems to have happened. I brought my sub back on my main the day the switch happened and i was happily botting in BG and still haven't received a ban

Agree with starter. Too much publicy for hb. Bgbuddy is too detectable. just watch the most popular video on youtube. it named : EVERYONE IS A BOT?! Honorbuddy is getting ridiculous - Warlords of Draenor PvP (WoD).
320k VIEWS. Well. it's even getting worse with those uncompleted botbases. Just imagine, i gave up with wow only because of bots in BG's. i like pvp and was ready to report everyone who using bot in bg's, because it was the only one thing i liked in Wow. There's no excitement to play versus bots, it ruined all gameplay on random soloque bg's.
I'll give + for bgbot closure. Member since 2011. have more than 100hb keys

I think you may have missed the point of my post... As to why some peopole got banned and others not, no one really knows (I'm thinking it's got to do with monthly battle.net spend).

I'm not saying pvp botters got banned (I'm banned, never pvp botted ever), I'm saying pvp bg bots put way to much heat on this product, forcing blizzard to take action against HB users.. Look I'm sure it's not the soul reason, but it certainly was a huge factor, and I belive we would be a lot safer if afk bg botting was removed from honorbuddy.

A PERFECT example, even a PVP botter admitting the built in profiles are trash... Does my point need to be made any clearer..

Whilst I will use HB on my farming accounts, I certainly will never use HB on my main account again whilst afk pvp is permitted with this bot, I will however use other bots that do not have afk pvp support.

complete fail of an argument, because even pvpers like myself can see it is asking for trouble to flat out destroy a core feature of the game, to the extent there are videos about it on main stream gaming news websites. "pvp isnt bad with the proper profile" excuse is horse shit, because 99% of people aren't/weren't using that and even if they were it would end up having the same problems stemming from overuse.
