I know u want a log posted with this as well but im not at home at the moment so i thought i would just check quickly if this is a known issue when im using the BG beta bot on an enhance shammy as soon as the BG is over it auto stops the bot and i have to restart it again other than that no issues with CC +rep

thought i should also add that honor buddy says No appropriate Profile found when it finishs the BG then another line that says in green shamwow

Stiffler1477, I only want a log file because I can't do anything without it other than guess, which is a waste of your time and mine. The message "No appropriate profile found" means that the Bot stopped because you don't have a profile loaded suitable for the characters level, the continent its on, etc. That would not be related to the CC you are using so in all likelihood its an issue for the profile author, the BG Bot, or whatever component you may be using that controls what profile is loaded. I can't be certain without a log file however. I'll keep an eye out for it, Bobby53

yeah i understand i just thought it was a CC issue as the BG bot i use is the one built into Honorbuddy when u get the lifetime and it doesnt actually use profiles its like the archeology bot jsut select the bot and run + im using the exact same bot on a druid with out any issues it jsut reques and keeps going weres the shammy has to manually reque each time bit annoying ill see if i can get a log file uploaded when i get home as well (85 shammy just sitting in SW so i dont think it would be a zone / area error(druid is in exact same place)) any help or suggestions would be much appreciated also is the dungeon finder thing on this CC completly AFKable or would u need to keep an eye on it

Stiffler1477, Please see Frequently Asked Questions-FAQ [CLICK HERE] for a template to complete in posting an issue as well as steps for attach a complete debug log file for your issue if you believe it is Shaman specific. CC's play a big role in how well your character fights/heals while in combat, but they shouldn't impact queueing, entering, or exiting battlegrounds or dungeons as that is handled entirely by the Bot you select. CC's handle the character class/race specific things, while the Bot handles everything else. For more information on InstanceBuddy [CLICK HERE] which is the dungeon finder thing you mentioned, you should read the initial post in its thread to understand its abilities, how it works, and whether it is AFKable. I want to start using ShamWOW so I downloaded the latest version. Then I read the FAQ and it says:

4. How do I install ShamWOW?
Read the INSTALL.TXT file present in the SHAMWOW.ZIP you downloaded. It details *exactly* where all the files in the ShamWOW distribution need to be copied. This is extremely important both during the first install and any upgrade you perform.

but the ZIP file does not contain an install.txt file

The problem is due to running a level 85 Shaman, but having a profile loaded that is restricted to working only for levels 60-80. The problem occurred when you left the battleground. BG Bot does not require a profile and actually loads a blank one temporarily. Upon leaving the battleground however BG Bot or HonorBuddy is attempting to restore the one you had loaded and tries to locate the portion of the profile appropriate for your character. When it can't find one, it exits. This is not a Shaman specific issue and would occur with the combination of that profile and any character outside of the range 60-80. To resolve, you can load any profile suitable for a Level 85 character. I recommend the attached Blank.xml which will prevent you from getting a lot of profile error message for loading a Questing profile without the Quest bot running.

dottzor, Thanks for the post! Glad to hear its working so well for you. I believe I have done everything I can regarding mana management at this point for Resto, but if you have any additional ideas please advise. The next release will have a separate config value for Mana Tide Mana % whereas the current version casts it at or below Emergency Mana %. Thanks again and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

Frequently Asked Questions-FAQ [CLICK HERE] has details that need to be provided in a post for me to research it. Thanks kayes. Once I get that I'll do what I can for you. I won't be available from Saturday through Wednesday, so if you have the time to do a Skirmish and shoot me the log soon I can make a release before being offline for that period.

You will want spec + glyphs used as well. There isn't one set of numbers that provide the best mana efficiency independent of combat scenario ( battlegrounds, instances, raids, etc.) and configuration.

No, it shouldn't be. There won't be an association like that between the two projects. The architectures are too different and the implementations are at very different points regarding feature richness. I've run LazyRaider with the latest version as an end game Resto in Heroics and had no issue with totems so possibly a bug revealing itself due to something specific in your spec or setup for some reason. I'll keep an eye out for the log file.

dottzor, That's not exactly whats happening. There are problems with the Combat /Heal Bot regarding identification of the tank (which is the Bots responsibility -- ShamWOW is just telling you who they are in that message.) That was why I wrote LazyRaider. It's basically the same but provides improved management of the Tank and an Options dialog to select the tank and control whether you want to auto-follow the tank. Feel free to use the other Bots, but I'm only going to be supporting LazyRaider for this purpose going forward. Good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

Ok. Just thought that some sort of guideline would be nice.. For us who don't know that much about stats and stuff like that. Hopefully you know what I mean. Like beginners guide..

Kikkelimies, He was just referring to Health %'s used to configure Group Healing for RAF and his number providing better mana efficiency in the circumstance he is botting than the default numbers do. Guides for players new to Shaman are plentiful online. Here are the ones I recommend
