Question though, in the newest release I thought auto tank selection and Casting Earthshield was disabled but it's still selecting tank and casting earthshield.

Am i missing something?

jfricker, Glad it is of use to you and thanks for passing along your ShamWOW success! The Bot is responsible for tank selection, so what you are seeing is either a message from the Bot selecting the tank, or from ShamWOW informing you which player the Bot identified as the tank. I would need a copy of your log file to say specifically which was occurring. As for Earth Shield, the release didn't change anything about how it is cast or on who. I simply warned of a new side-effect that since ShamWOW will now heal a party that does not have a Tank identified (by the Bot, not WOW) that Earth Shield would not be cast (because it wouldn't know who to put it on.) As long as a Tank has been identified it is business as usual. Thanks for the post because I am sure some others may have been wondering about this as well, Bobby53

Great CC, I'm not sure what the people who have mana issues are doing differently. Maybe they aren't taking the Telluric Currents talents which helps mana alot.

The only reason i made a shaman was to test out this CC, i couldn't ignore all the talk and hype, and it lived up to every bit of that.

I leveled 1-80 as enhance and it ripped face, i leveled 80-85 as elemental(so i could stock up on Resto type gear) and it continued to rip face. I'm now running through 85 dungeons as resto and its healing face in a 'ripping face' kind of way.

I absolutely love this CC and lazyraider. I have no experiance at all with any kind of healing and yet i look like i been doing it for years. You just cant go wrong with this.

No, it shouldn't be. There won't be an association like that between the two projects. The architectures are too different and the implementations are at very different points regarding feature richness. I've run LazyRaider with the latest version as an end game Resto in Heroics and had no issue with totems so possibly a bug revealing itself due to something specific in your spec or setup for some reason. I'll keep an eye out for the log file.

I must apologize for my fast conclusion about the totems there mate. I ran it about 10 times in HC's this weekend and it had no problems what so ever.
Next week im gonna try it out on Trash farm in BOT.

4. I would like to have flexible options to use earth shield and water shield. I want for shaman buff earthshield on an ally, but buff self water shield. And under certain conditions used to hang the earth shield on myself, if he assume <40% HP ori hit by 4-3 enemys.

Hmm, dont really know where this option in settings. I seen only option "save fire elementals and bloodlust for bosses". I cant say exactly, because servers on maintance.

See the FAQ for details on how to report a bug. It is more than just attaching a log file. Please follow the steps carefully so I can look into it for you.

1. My shaman often uses fire and earth elemental. It looks like a bot.

I disagree. Using the abilities that come with your Shaman does not make it look like a bot. A log file along with a detailed description of the specific fight scenario where you felt that the elementals shouldn't have been cast is needed, otherwise using them is considered best practice at the points they are cast.

2. My shaman is often rebuff waterl walking. It looks like a bot.

There is an option to disable buffing Water Walking if you prefer to not use it.

Due to a change in the mechanics of player death / resurrection in HonorBuddy several releases ago, it currently uses the default HonorBuddy behavior for this which is rez if you can. I'll look at restoring the old behavior in an upcoming release.

No, there is more detail needed than that. Please read the FAQ carefully so if you do detect an issue I can resolve for you.

I disagree with the assessment at the end of each of the observations "It looks like a bot." ShamWOW isn't designed to mimic each individuals play style. Its intended to assess the combat situation and choose the best response based upon best practices in whatever environment it is in. Some users ignore a number of the Shaman abilities available, while the purpose of ShamWOW is to use everything at its disposal to kill the opponent while keeping the character and any party member alive. In general, it should out perform a typical player in reactive situations. Players should out perform ShamWOW in situations where they can anticipate what is about to happen, such as a Raid encounter or specific mob they are familiar with.

Users that would like to encourage me to make a specific change in behavior or fix for problem they encountered in ShamWOW will have the best results by closely reading and following the steps in the FAQ. In your case, the details for each issue should be reported distinctly since they cannot all occur simultaneously.

bobby53 first off thanks so much for an amzing cc obviously a lot of time and effort on it. Served me well up to 85 and just run my first instance with no problems using you lazyraider bot. I'm resto spec with telluric currents and my question is, how easy would it be to edit or have an option to only cast lightning bolt (maybe if all 5 in the instance are above 98%) rather than lava burst etc. Be very useful for keeping mana up. Apologies if this has been asked previously.

You have some options wrong if you cast lava burst.
Make sure you have "healing only " checked (the CC still casts LB for Telluric Procs).

Then here is what I recomend for a Telluric Current spec:

* remove healing wave totally (set it to zero) - a high value on healing wave will prevent you from casting LB.
* rely on Healing surge as your bread and butter healing spell, put it on a value you feel comfortable with, I would recomend starting with 80% and work your way down.
* Riptide should still be kept high, like 85% or so.

This way you rely on the awesomeness of Healing Stream and AA procs while you LB away and wait for ppl to sink below the HS threshold (mine is @ 70% but my gear is pretty good).

jonti666, Dottzor is absolutely correct regarding Lava Burst. If it continues to be cast after verifying that your RAF options are set to Healing Only, then be sure to visit the Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] and post an issue as described there. Also, anyone using the alternative heal setup specified please post your results. I haven't had a chance to test but it is a creative alternative providing more opportunity for Lightning Bolt casts and mana return from Telluric Currents. Thanks for the post, Bobby53
