ShamWOW for HB2 - An Enhance/Elemental/Resto + PVP/RaF Healbot by Bobby53

I seem to have a small issue with InstanceBuddy healing. It heals the group fine, never lets anyone die... except itself!

edit: Same for decurses. It decurses and heals everyone else in the party just fine, but when it comes to itself, it just uses lightbolt like a moron, even tough I'm at 50% hp.

Hi Bobby,

Thank you for the quick response. I have attached my last log file using the LazyRaider setup. When I ran it this time there was some healing done but the bot did not heal nearly as well as using InstanceBuddy. I still find two issues when I run the LazyRaider setup (as you described).

1) Healing is about 50% as good as running Instance bot. There was some healing done but the bot seemed to wait for a while and let party members health fall to 50 - 40% before healing and sometimes even let them die. (I am using the default RAF values).

2) The bot still has some problem with the camera. The camera keeps turning so that it is facing the front of my character and I need to fight with it to keep control. I have changed the camera settings in WoW but no solution. Also, I never have this problem using another CC. I am still worried that the bot will randomly turn and run as before (in the above post).

3) You mentioned running the Combat_NoMovement.cs. Can you tell me what the difference would be between this and the LazyRaider setup? Is there some action that LazyRadier would do that Combat_NoMovement.cs would not?

That was fixed in .11. Just upgrade to resolve, Bobby53
 
I have one question. I use this CC to questing on Elemental but bot all time take reward quest for Enhacement. Is possible to change that ?
 
Hi darex11,

Bobby would be the final word on this, but choosing gear from rewards is not done via the CC. This is done by the included plugin called AutoEquip (available from the plugins tab). You need to make sure that it is checked and set it the appropriate class (in your case elemental shaman).

Absolutely the best CC hands down...just wondering if anyone uses the dps in an instance or raid setting and if its viable (as in u wont look like u suck that bad) I know the healing is amazing. Sorry if question was answered but there is a lot of pages here lol.
 
First of all, awsome CC as always.

There is a very minor problem with it I have found though, but it's is not that big of a deal. It does not always recall the totems. Like I said, it is a minor issue, but I know you probably want to know about it :-)
 
I'm having a fairly consistent issue when trying to heal heroics. When it's working the bot does damn well keeping the tank and group up. Every once in a while though, it just stops working at all and spams the error log with a problem. I have included my log file with the example. What is causing this and how can i fix it?

darex11, Choosing / equipping gear is a function of the Quest bot, InstanceBuddy, or Auto-Equip depending upon the environment. Direct any questions or posts regarding those to those threads. Good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

kmolleson, My apologies. That appears to be an error I introduced in last version. Will post a .12 release shortly that resolves this for you. Thank you for the complete debug log file as I wouldn't have been able to locate it by description or log fragment alone. Thank for the post, Bobby53

tjhasty, Totem recall is affected by a wide number of variables including combat scenario, configuration, etc. I would need a complete debug log file to look at the specific circumstance you observed them not being recalled appropriately. Thanks, Bobby53

no apologies necessary at all. You've done an amazing job with this cc... one of the best out there for HB. Thanks for all the time and effort you've put in to make it that way. I'm happily waiting for .12 now :)

Quick release to address a couple issues related to Healing and Lazy Raider Interaction.

FIX - correct two exceptions occurring in some healing scenarios when no tank can be found (not in group, died and released, or not in instance yet) - both related to changes made in prior release to allow healing in groups without a valid tank

FIX - correct problem where would Face a target while Resto and specced for Focused Insight or Telluric Currents disregarding Disable Movement and Disable Targeting

CHANGE - Disabled auto-tank selection - this is a function of the Bot and should remain that way.  Use the SetTheLeader plugin if your bot does not do this or you want to be able to select the tank yourself.

CHANGE - Disable Target - controls targeting when Disable Movement is active.  Now defaults to true.

NEW - added detection of LazyRaider Bot (disables movement)

CHANGE - changed point at which disable targeting is checked to avoid log spam

CHANGE - in Groups without tanks, DPS targeting must now be handled by Bot or User

CHANGE - Groups no longer require an identified tank for healing / dps, but all tank heal and assist features are disabled.  No Earth Shield for example.

FIX - restored support for cancelling heal in progress to save Tank or Healer

FIX - added check for Earthliving Weapon before casting Unleash Elements as a heal

Still not healing correctly with 4.3.12

Hi Bobby,

I have tried again with the LazyRaider setup (MrAutofight and SetTheLeader) using the newest (4.3.12) ShamWoW. :confused:

Again, still not healing correctly. Usually will not start healing until a player has reached 50% or less of health. Attached is my latest log (please also see the previous posted log above). It is a short log as I have to leave the instance when ppl start dying. :-

When I was using IB instead of the LazyRaider setup (grinding mode) healing was spot on. Since you mentioned that ShamWow is not meant to be used with IB I am trying to use the LazyRaider setup. I am also using the preset healing values for RaF that are included with the CC and have made no changes to that part.

Also, can you please explain the difference between the LazyRaider setup and using the Combat_NoMovement.cs? Is there any difference in healing/DPS using the Combat_NoMovement.cs setup?

bobbie.. crazy question here... but would Squire be able to be integrated directly into the CC? or does it have to be a Plugin? Its just one of those off the wall questions I guess
 
Exactly how do I make it stop casting Heroism for absolutley no damm reason ??? I can understand if there are multiple mobs and I'm loosing but for one mob I just dont see the point...

First, take a deep breath before posting and try not to be emotional. In return I'll promise to do the same. I'm not a fan of exclamatory or dramatic posts and typically ignore them. For me to research this issue and provide assistance, follow the steps provided in Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] on posting an issue or question regarding observed behavior. Once the information specified in the FAQ is available I'll be able to research your concern and provide a solution in the form of a recommended configuration change or a fix to the CC. billsmith, I have created a new Bot named LazyRaider [CLICK HERE] that will hopefully resolve these issues. It does not require the use of SetTheLeader as it has Tank selection logic built in and allows you to click the Bot Settings button to choose a different one. Please use this for any user controlled / bot assisted game play. Thanks, Bobby53
