[Profiles] Adventure Mode Bounties - Community Edition

Hi I rly dont understand you guide at all. ive had demonbuddy for 14 days, and cant seem to get it to work, with bounty farming can you walk me through setting this up on skype/teamspeak? plz

I am given no information other than the first/last name of the person that donated and how much they donated. There is a chance to add a comment, but not everyone does.

stud4fun, I don't handle anything with the townportal, and it shouldn't freeze your game. After the town portal, it will however refresh the cache so that it can ensure that the bounties it is doing are up to date. I actually think I might be alright to move where it refreshes the cache. I am going to try that in a second and upload the version to the SVN.

@nocryg, I have nothing to do with the stash. That is a problem with Trinity.

@Naughtygazle, I do not have time to walk everyone through this step by step individually. There is also a guide thread linked in the first post. Maybe that will help you.

EDIT: Speaking of which, lol @ this comment. "may not be enough for a hoe but a pepsi can will do it fo sho"

Yh i tried that guide, only got me alot of red letters in the bot and 0 result :( Fuck... guess i payed 30 € fo nothing

after i eat dinner i will post a step by step guide on how to set this up
 
Ive read both you guides, tried inserting the link in the dia folder with trinity pack, didnt work.

I tried loading different kind og profiles, matching either trinity or the other. NOTHING

Believe me budd (sychotix) ive spent countless hours trying getting this to work
 
Is it normal for the bot to do everything so slow? It thinks 1 sec before moving, before using skill, etc. If it's not normal, then any way to fix that? DB shows 0.8 ticks/s when I have it set up to 20 ticks/s.

Make sure you don't have the BountyDumper plugin turned on. It shouldn't be running that slow.

You don't put these things in your Diablo 3 folder.

Run DemonBuddy with EZUpdater installed (Instructions in that thread)
Close DemonBuddy
Edit [DemonBuddy's Folder]\Settings\EZUpdater\EZUpdater.xml and add the below code after the last </PluginRepo>

Run Demonbuddy again, click Plugins->EZUpdater->Config->Check for Updates
After it tells you to restart demonbuddy in the text window, do so.
Make sure BountyProfile is enabled in the plugins section.
Load Act4.xml

That is about the best guide I can give you.

EDIT: Oh, and keep in mind... I'm not part of the dev team. When you bought DB, you didn't pay for this plugin/profile =P I'm doing this free of charge and make no money other than donations from some awesome people.

I've pushed out an update which will hopefully make the bot run a little faster completing a bounty and going back to town. I (don't think) forcing the cache to refresh at this time is needed because it should have just refreshed from completing the last quest. If this becomes a problem, I will add it back.

i fixed the loop by deleted all the profiles and doing a new svn checkout. even delete the plugin and replace it. fixed this for me
 
For anyone who is having an issue with Act 4, please include the following:
  • Location (ie. Gardens of hope lvl 2)
  • Class and gender
  • loot and combat settings
  • Type of issue (stuck, loops, not zoning to boss, not looting etc.)
 
Just Curious: Has anyone had a Ring of Royal Grandeur drop from the act 4 cache? Going nuts trying to get this damn thing.

2) Restart DB Beta
3)with DB BETA running select PLUGINS tab, make sure QUEST TOOLS, TRINITY, AND BOUNTY PROFILE are all selected (you can deselect ezupdater,lumberjack,and dumpbounty)
4)Load [Act#].xml as the profile (DB BETA-> Plugins-> zBountyProfile)
5)Click Start

(optional) Set Trinity's pack size to 1, helps ensure we kill everything for clear objectives.

Hey Zimble, any idea where I should start for looking to support the cursed chests and whatnot? If not, I might have to figure out how to write a tag that can dynamically look around a specified point for mobs or something.
 
Ive followed ur guide but 7zip fucks up for me :S + cant find the correct EZUpdater.xml it doenst exist in my case.

atm my bot just LAGS alot and teleports to the same teleport bounty, then to town, then back to bounty

i know you do it for free, just annoying no madder how hard i try it always screws up. Wasted alot of hours, of something that should be simple as F :(
 
you have to run ezupdater first to get the ezupdater settings folder that you are looking for and if you dont like 7zip use jZip that is what i use
