Post here if you started botting again

going on 3rd day now just mass leveling toons for more backup accts for future banwaves. Only doing Kick's, probably about 20h/day from disconnects or stucks or whatever but otherwise permanently on. No bans yet on 2 accts. Calling BS on the posters saying logged in 5 min, ran quest and instant banned. Not happening to the rest of us. Obviously not saying it's safe especially with Tripwire turned off, but it's not press HB start = instant ban like people are claiming. Only doing multiple WOD $10 accounts so not a big loss if something happens but having 5-10 more lvl 100 toons at standby will be a nice luxury to have.

Its possible for ppl who got hit by ban wave, your ip can get flagged, so when you make a new account it will get banned instantly.

It happened to me during WoD, I lost 5 accounts, remade the 5 accounts, and i didn't decided to log in until the next day and they were already banned.
 
still going strong - 20hr / day - same IPs that got hit in the banwave i didnt bother to hide my tracks

leveled 100-110 and alternated between 12 hr gathering sessions while i work/sleep...and gearing up to 825 in order to minimize gathering deaths in suramar
 
after 70 hours of non-stop botting, client crashed, i re-launch it and accidentally updated the wow client
until hb update i stopped :(((((((((((((

They banned 5 brand new accounts that you never used just because it was from an IP from previous ban - that sounds extreme, unless you were mass farming 24/7 and selling hundreds of millions of gold for cash that they have been tracking a long time? I haven't read anywhere about brand new accounts being "pre-banned" before they are ever even used and I've been doing this a long time. I've been at the same IP and been hit by every banwave in the last 2-3 years and have instantly been able to continue using clean accounts. So again unless your example is some extreme case that warrants them somehow monitoring you specifically I would hardly call it the norm.

Has anyone else ever seen this? Being banned the first time you ever buy a new clean account without HB ever loaded?

Many of us have gone through this many times and immediately restart and build a new army with no problems.
 
Well, judging from ban reports (there are pretty much none lately) and that a lot of people have restarted botting, I guess we can assume that it's safe to come back?

botting will never be safe.
bossland claim that they have "found out" what detected them. but guess what? how would we know if tomorrow blizzard decides to change their detection?
anyone here can lie to you how safe HB is, but the bottom line is, if you are casual botting, don't do it.
bot for gold and profits, so you lose nothing.

The "safty-ness" to bot didn't change. It is the same as it was 4 days ago.
 
Hey new to honor. been botting a couple months. unfortunately my 3 accounts and my main got hit in the wave.

I have noticed quite a few are starting back up after the wave while also disabling the tripwire. I was curious if anyone had any experiences using Tripwire vs disabling.. trying to go the less "reckless" route. lol

Tripwire is active again...so you don't have to disable anymore. It's reckless to bot without it and is not recommended.
 
"HB is still not safe! I disabled Tripwire and started again"

Maybe creating 7 accounts on the same bnet, disabling tripwire, and probably the day after the ban wave wasnt a smart idea to not get "flagged" for a version that was known for the wave.

The VPN botting practice was nice, but the other practices were not. #staysafeoutthere
 
Got banned again as well after about 72 hours can't tell if it's from doing herb profiles or just detected.
 
Banned 4/4 as of today. one account was active only for 1.5 days. (tripware was disabled by me, yesterday i turned it on, bam got banned)

Did you use the updated (tripwire enabled) bot on your new accounts or you started with the old bot then changed it to the updated bot???
