[Plugin] MapRunner

I have a Master plugin in my plans, but why inside MapRunner? It will be a standalone plugin.

lets ruin skyforth's prices

That's the exact reason noone wants to do it... Someone will release that plugin and after 2 weeks skyforth's going to cost 5ex resulting with the plugin to be worthless because you'll loose more chances than you'll earn.

So basically you are saying that you want this kind of stuff to be private so that 4-5 ppl including you can make profit out of it(thats kinda greedy dont you think?).Some ppl do not chance for profit,just saying....

Edit:Skyforth prices wont go down that much that fast...

Don't include devs in your plans, I know we're evil but please ;D Well anyway this is maprunner's thread, polluting it with suggestion of plugins won't lead anywhere, exvault might have something more interesting to do...
Once you'll put your hands on comlib you'll understand why people don't release gamebreaking stuff.

I'm guessing he thought a master plugin should be tied to MapRunner since 95% of endgame revolves around being inside a map and masters are found inside maps. Since masters are found both inside and outside of maps a standalone is the obvious way to go.

100% disagree. The competitors bot has had a working chancing script build in forever, and the market is just fine. Im not sure what started the whole "game breaking plugins will ruin the game for everyone" fiasco, but i believe that line of thinking is directly related to this bot getting shut down in the first place.

There was a time when lots of people were asking for a currency converter plugin, but it was said "no way, that would break the market"! You released one, and did the market break? Masters plugin? Gamebreaking! I dont get the whole Masters plugin being game breaking, but clearly i am missing something. All my masters have been 8 for so long, but i see nothing i could use them for that i would consider game breaking, but again i may be overlooking things.

Point is, if this community continues down the path of "no that would be game breaking" and continues to keep the good stuff private, no one will have a bot to use in a few months. I'm just glad ExVault is open to, and planning to release some of these plugins now. No one wants to see ExileBuddy get shut down again.

Fuses ratio to exalt went down by 40-50% after releasing StashBuddy :) And it's not more because people were doing it by hand anyway, but people won't chance every Sorcerer Boot's the bot finds by hand.

There are plans about the Masters.. but can't say anything more.

And this is MapRunner's thread, not chancing or masters. We can discuss those things on Discord.

Coding takes some time and there are lots of things to do. I can only tell, that as long as I am working on this project, such highly requested things like masters and chancing will be inevitably implemented.

i'm a coder too, and i just ask u if u dont have any plan to do this, maybe i will try :)

You were using so so so old version of MapRunner if it was typing /remaining.

As Tormiasz pointed out, you should be able to adjust the percent in % in MapExplorationTask.cs, but it still not a perfect solution. I know ExVault was happy with how MapRunner handled exploration previously, but he may now be open to adding a few quality of life changes people have been asking for.

For example i would love to see a "create new map after boss is killed". This would be extremely useful for all the linear maps such as strands and gorge. Watching the bot run to the end of these maps, then all the way back to the entrance feels bad ;p Other options such as a "timeout" if in X map would be nice. If im in a strands for more than 90 seconds, something went wrong and i would rather it auto restart a new map, than run around in there for 5 minutes.

I dont think ExVault would be opposed to adding these types of options to MapRunner in the future, but we all must realize he has a lot on his plate right now and is adding lots of features to EB.

Yeah I miss an anti-stuck mechanism for maps. Using the default stuck detection will re-enter the map and keep derping.

Is there anything else you need to change Tormiasz? For example, if i am running Jungle Valley + No Boss Room, reguardless of what PercentToCheck value is set to, i still fully clear the map and sometimes even hang out in there running around after 0 mobs are left.

It doesnt seem like PercentToCheck is doing anything at all. Btw, original code uses private const int instead of private const float. I dont think that would make any difference, since both int and float mean roughly the same thing (a number) if im not mistaken.
 
well I copy pasted it from my private fork which is a bit different. If it's int in the original then use it :)

It's strange that it's running still. pushedx or ExVault may want to check if AreaStateCache is returning correct values of percentage completed.
 
Please attach a log rather than posting a wall of text over and over. Also, did you update to the latest Maprunner? I got rid of this problem after the last update.

I can't find a way to set ignore boss rooms. In dungeon for example it kills the boss and keep derping like this:

"[GridExplorer] Now clearing the current location since it is being ignored.
[Alcor75PluyerMover] ExilePather.FindPath failed.
[MapExplorationTask] MoveTowards failed for {0, 0}.

Happens in quite a few maps. How do input boss room to ignore. I'm trying to put the map name on the place to ignore boss rooms, always says its not a valid name.
