MMOGlider probably coming back!

Obviously now gb/hb is better than glider, since it has been a few years. But i have no doubt that Glider will be 10 times better.
Also find it funny that the mods are basically bashing glider in here lol.

Also gotta love the tards going ''DURRRR IT HAD MOAR BANWAVES, THUS GB/HB IS BETTARRRR''
 
sorry i am intoxicated but i thought if any of the HB/GB had info about detection from blizzard that HB/GB would shut down and we could'nt log into either of them.

is that correct?

them bashing or saying they stay with HB/GB is simply because they feel it's the right bot to use. I do too. maybe Glider will arise from the ashes and do good again its just a matter of time. all I know is it will be targeted first as it goes up. because blizzard will be very pissed if they lose the case.

we got the same system glider had, the Tripwire your reffering too. when there is a banwave we will be shutdown asap. then others that starting the bot won't be able to start it.
 
Glider was far better at PVP and from what I understand, had security which no other bot comes close to.

yea it was so secure that I had 2 Bannwaves there with GB I had only one so far...

BTW here I have with Lifetime a lot mor Sessions I ever had with glider..

QFT panyama :)

blizz spend millions on lawsuits to shut glider down. if they get in production again, im pretty sure blizz will point their arrows against them again, to make em shut down again.

You seem to forget warden was more aggressive back in the day's and blizz focused all it's power to constantly try and detect the bot to reduce there user base (well to destroy it), blizz won a few times (detected Glider) while Glider won the last battle so blizz took them to court to shut them down, the warden guy/gal has started hibernating since then. Hb's protection has never been fully tested and no one actually know's if the tripwire even work's or exsist's (HB team could be lieing, i doubt it doe).

The three question's i want to ask is:
1. What if warden implement's a code into the client (patch) which will bypass the tripwire what counter-measure's do you have in place?

2. No offence to the HB team but Kynox/Cypher are only a handfull of people that know so much about warden yet the warden guy/gal took LuaNinja down soo easyly and it took cypher/kynox a few day's to figure out how they got detected (they thought it was OS issue's first) do you think your protection could outclass warden?

3. Is the Tripwire all we have?? HB/GB is not exactly super safe if the tripwire can easily be bypassed.
 
@wilson: nobody knows and I don't think we're supposed to ask.

It could be a sales pitch.. and should HB/GB be caught in a banwave,
it's not like Bossland GMBH is going to refund anything because of a broken triwpire guarantee...
So in the end... who knows.
 
1. The same as every other bot, which isn't a great deal. The devs would see/hear of the change and take hb/gb offline right away if there were any such patches.

2. LuaNinja was unprotected therefore asking for trouble. It's a shame how things went for it, seems cypher made an error somewhere in his coding, these things happen. Either that or warden did infact update itself and catch them out, I forgot, didn't read up on it much. Anyway, he stated from the start that he beleived his code would protect luaninja unless warden patched itself but he couldn't be certain.

Anyway, hacks are treated differently to bots. Especially hacks that enable use of protected lua functions. It destroyed arena for a good while lol.

3. As far as I know, yes. Other than covering their tracks code-wise and monitoring warden for changes, this and a tripwire are the only precautions any bot can make against warden at this time.

True... the question's are really in detail about the core of HB lol maybe they could answer question 3 doe :)
