[PAID] [Mage] Portal - An Advanced Honorbuddy Mage Routine [PvE/PvP]

Raiding 6/7 mythic as arcane now, since i far out dps my frost damage (doing 39k dps on butcher mythic compared to 34k as frost). Not using any CC. But i would like to compare my very confident mage play with a botted play, just to see the difference. xD

Is there currently only a certain combination of talents working atm? Haven't checked many pages, information is pretty spread.

All talents/builds are support and should be working. Be interested to hear your feedback (+ notes for improvement :) ).
 
no its not :/ iceblock is kinda bugged, when i get hit so cauterrize procs he doesent cast iceblock but he just stands there and does nothing - so i disabled it yesterday.

next thing is that he keeps spamming arcane blast even he already has 4 charges and arcane missles up! - sometimes he spamms till im out of mana without casting evo....

im rading mythic an yesterday i pressed "2" (arcane missles) for myself everytime i had 4 stacks up cuz the CR ignores it :S

this should be the log from yesterdays myth raiding hope u can see what i mean.

Seriusly men, why you lie about arcane?

Until that i change to frost for Mythic, i rank in arcane in worlfoflogs in Top 20 in 3 boss use this CC in Heroic, so arcane is fine, if you know how configure and use good hotkeys.

The unique problem that i fin and this moment are :

1- In frost, this CC renew to late Frost Bomb, we lost to many dps, because no refresh always that enemy lost the dot, and its better take supernova.

2- Fire in PTR at this moment have very high damage compared with frost and Arcane, but the rotation and changes in WOD are not very well implemented in this CC. I wish that Milz take Fire spec and rework the mayority of the configuration and delete all settings that experimental rotation.

At this moment, i raid 4/7 Mythic with frost, 666 gear level, and always are top 3 of my guild

Please, enlighten me what did I lie about? all I said was that arcane needs to be optimized.

I used this routine and arcane all the way up to Imperator mythic (played him manual because of issue with ice flows) and it is working mostly ok. I control lvl 75, 100 talents and burst myself. never trust the bot to use PC it will just mess it up but there is a mouse over hot key that helps a lot.
For fire not sure not bothered to look at it yet but going on performance in the past I hope we wont need to use it, experimental rotation is the rotation you will want to use, But am hoping with the 11.1% increase haste incoming frost might be better, wont know until it gets simed and I doubt it will come anywhere near multistrike but frost has always benefited from haste the most so fingers crossed.

Not sure what's going on with Ice Block. Will add some debugging.

Got a rough idea what's happened with Evocation. Will put a fix in for this and see how it goes.

AB will spam (and ignore AM) when in burn phase and wanting to exit burn phase faster. If you prolong burn phase too long by using AM charges then the CDs all get out of sync.
 
I just want to know if someone can his profil option (xml) to an arcan mage. I really want to learn mage rotation with level but I don't know how configure all of spell.(because i'm noob ^^'). Begin with full parameters opti to progress to unbot playing.

Edit: I forget to say, it's for an pve experience.

Well after today's changes there is no doubt Fire and Arcane will be the main specs in BRF. So lets focus on those?

Incineration now causes the Mage to gain 15% (up from 5%) more of the Critical Strike stat from all sources.
Pyroblast’s damage has been reduced by 5%.

I try the new Incineration in PTR...and OH MY GOD !!! Amazing dps for fire !! Welcome back to SOO
 
I posted my log while I was using the fire specc. I have the same issues when using arcane.

Reload the bot when you change spec :)

Could you add an option for racial to be used on [arcane] burn phase like you have with trinket?

Also, I think supernova cooldown should have a tickbox for 2 charges -> Evocation CD > 20 sec. Evo is used after the burn phase so the cooldown between evo and PC is usually around 30 sec. Since it always waits for evo to be around ~6 sec cd before it enters burn phase, this means you should be able to use another charge of supernova or 2 while PC is up but still waiting for evo.

We have raid tomorrow, i'll activate my trial of this CC tonight and will test run it on butcher tomorrow.

Just poppin a quick question here. The "Free" version aint available on the buddystore, is there still an SVN available somewhere?
Or is the Free version completely off the table?

you really can just buy it, if you love mages than THIS is the best CR you can get. Worth any penny i paid !

If I have use arcane explosion when moving checked - does that mean it wont use ice floes and keep the normal rotation? If I use ice floes - would it be expected that the CR does not have to cancel any casts? IE: I am mid AB cast, I need to move, the CR cancels that cast, casts ice floe and then I can cast AB? Just something doesn't feel right with Ice Floe usage. Here is log - arcane was towards the end.

The free version hasn't been updated for WoD yet, sorry. Still too much happening with the premium ones to take my time/focus away from them.

If Ice Floes is talented, it'll cast it once every time you move and don't have the buff active.

So Ice Floes -> Arcane Blast -> Ice Floes -> Arcane Blast.

It doesn't cancel a cast, but once you move, the AB is cancelled, then it casts IF -> AB. It won't cast IF until you're already moving. It can't predict when you're going to move.

If AE when moving is enabled, the IF charges should be used up first, then start AE'ing when units in range.
