Ice Block nor counterspell are working in on portal for me at all? anybody else having these issues? only since update.

^THIS! = its kinda annoying if the CR picks a random Target after PC ends for example Kargath, after PC the CR sometimes targets an enemy outside the Ring...please fix it Millz :)
 
is it possible to have options for cc like "poly healer = set hotkey her" poly dps = set hot key " deepfreeze healer = set hot key " deepfreeze dps = set hotkey " etc, kidna like gladiator suite, if so this cr would be perfect. i don't really like setting focus and mouseovers

What's wrong!? Tried do turn ElvUI off but didn't work either.
 
is there a way to make incantater's flow work with PC because I've tried every option in the talent section but each time I cast PC it uses both charges of supernova even with 0 stacks of IF.
 
I am having issues getting arcane and fire to work, at all. Frost is working flawlessly though.

How to fix this?
 
Simple question for Millz and others. As we move into BRF - all the top mages in the world are going Arcane Main Spec and Fire OS - is this CR optimized enough to follow suit? I know frost was the end all be all at first so a lot of attention was given to it. I need to know if I will be able to pull as good or better numbers before I switch. PS: This is PVE Mythic discussion only. For reference:

Tbh for fire there is nothing more millz could do, playing fire has a logic which is not code able. if u know when u manually interfere in rotation, it does a great job,though it's basic rotation for fire still is buggy, I find it stipud to use inferno blast without precasting Fireball+proc of Heating up, which CC does it quite alot even when experminetal rotation is checked.

but for arcane! I think arcane can be optimized, atm ur hands are quite tight for picking talents in arcane spec, since arcane orb setting doesn't work , I mean no matter what u choose it will cast arcne orb on CD. which is not quite what I want, I recommand to use supernova manually, Overpowered is buggy atm, Arcane missiles will extend ur arcane power by2 sec each time u use it, so it seems that it prolongs Burn phase, til u compeltey go out of mana, and even then cc doesn't cast evocation, it just stops, till u get the mana back over time for another cast of arcane blast, and after arcane power is over it uses evocation, which sucks,I think best time for evocation is when ur around 50-52% even if u have arcane power up.

to sum up, fire is alsmost ready if u know how to play fire mage without CC, arcane needs to be optimized to be as perfect as it used to be in MoP.
 
im having issues with arcane specifically with the use of crystal. I am ilevel 657 and pulling only like 25k on butcher while same geared mage as arcane is doing 31k and it seems he had like 30 more procs on his crystal someone want to share with me what i am doing wrong?

If this is true - then you are saying the CR is not useable for end game raiding? Millz - can I get a comment from you on this?

i am probably just blind but i don't see it in the post but i had bought portal back in MOP and now am playing my mage again how do i get the new premium version

Seriusly men, why you lie about arcane?

Until that i change to frost for Mythic, i rank in arcane in worlfoflogs in Top 20 in 3 boss use this CC in Heroic, so arcane is fine, if you know how configure and use good hotkeys.

The unique problem that i fin and this moment are :

1- In frost, this CC renew to late Frost Bomb, we lost to many dps, because no refresh always that enemy lost the dot, and its better take supernova.

2- Fire in PTR at this moment have very high damage compared with frost and Arcane, but the rotation and changes in WOD are not very well implemented in this CC. I wish that Milz take Fire spec and rework the mayority of the configuration and delete all settings that experimental rotation.

At this moment, i raid 4/7 Mythic with frost, 666 gear level, and always are top 3 of my guild
 
I've been trying to use the trial version of this to know whether or not I want to buy it for my mage. I've been using it but theres a few things I cannot get it to do. One is timewarp, and the other is to polymorph. I'm using a profile in Pillar of Fate for Council of Exarchs rep.. and regardless of whether I'm frost or arcane, it still won't timewarp or poly. Do I need to have my bars setup in a particular way? My machine at home poly'd with singular, but my work laptop it won't. Also almost always my pet won't attack with it's default attack on any of the profiles. I've read through the entire HonorBuddy get started PDF.. didn't seem to instruct me.

Any ideas?

Time Warp isn't used by the routine. Should be controlled manually. Polymorph isn't used a great deal in solo/PvE - it's more focused at PvP.

There's an option on the frost tab to force your pet to attack the target.

The way your bars are setup only matter for the pet bar abilities - the skills need to be on the bars to be used. Your main character's bars don't matter.

I don't like my current hotkey system at all. It's too difficult to add new settings, which is mostly the reason behind the small amount of hotkeys. I plan to overhaul the hotkey system, and once I do I'll look into adding more options like this.

Here are my settings for arcane at the moment. Using the Def CDs all by myself. also Block/Blink/Pots and so on.
Looking for improvements :D

Arcane has had a lot of tuning. Fire needs work. I focus on FotM specs as priority.

Everything can be coded. It just takes time and patience to get it right.

Fire -> The experimental rotation does the pre-casting, but it has conditions for when to skip the pre-cast (revolving around combustion). Fire definitely needs work, but up to now it's been the least played spec, so naturally frost and arcane got more attention.

Arcane Orb -> Had no idea that wasn't working. Will fix it.

1) Frost Bomb should only be refreshed once you have 2 charges or Ice Lance (or you've got Frozen Orb active/waiting). It's not a DoT any more, it only does damage from Ice Lance.

2) 100% agree that fire needs work, but as above, fire hasn't been used a great deal up to now, so Frost and Arcane have had all of the focus. Need to focus on FotM specs as priority. No point focusing time on Fire spec if only 5% of users are using it, and 95% are playing frost.
