[PAID] [Mage] Portal - An Advanced Honorbuddy Mage Routine [PvE/PvP]

Found a random team in Oqueue, did WMP (Warrior Mage HPriest)

Went from 1500 to 2200 in one night.

Haven't got the code open at the moment, but from memory, yes, that's by design.

Yeah I'm not sure what Singular is doing, but it's disabling mounting. I haven't had a chance to look into it in detail. If you help it mount the first time after it's started it seems to work after that.

It's a capitalist world :). Without the monetary incentive, people generally aren't inclined to spend days on end coding. The weekend before the BETA version was ready, I worked on it from Friday evening to Sunday evening, only stopping for sleep.

The default PvE file isn't bad, but everyone tends to change settings to suit their own needs. There are no perfect settings, or I wouldn't need to add all of the options :)

Singular isn't designed for end game PvE/PvP. Portal does a lot better in these situations (and that's the reason why even the Honorbuddy devs use Portal ;) )

Ugh... Don't I know it. Its a lot of work. Still sad though. I will probably end up getting it in a little while once you get all the kinks out of it anyways.

Also, anyone else having an issue with their private messages? Like, it tells me I have one, but it doesnt show me it. So I said screw it and deleted everything in my inbox. So if you sent me a message since last night, Please do so again :)

They had some issues with private messages today and they said it maybe would be down for some time, don't know if it could have something to do with that

I had about 90+ that were broken. Took a while to go through them all again :(
 
Hey... trying to use BGFarmer and i cant login...
given me an error : cant connect possible sever issue...
please help
 
has someone else the problem that BGFarmer crashes honorbuddy when try to change the setting?
yesterday everything still works good! =(
 
Can this routine use specific spell to pull, such as cone of cold and arcane blast? I want to find something that will help me farm Tol Barad for cloth faster.
 
BGFarmer should return flags? Is it by english name or by ID (work for any locale)? Bot killed some FCs but no flag returns oO

Would it be possible to not cancel casting when Devo Aura is up? We had 4 pala's and I lost quite a lot of DPS from it cancelling casts when this was up.

TBH i think this would be a good addition in general :).

Also, (not just Thok) AOE doesn't seem to work (in terms of casting flamestrike/arcane explosion etc) when the boss is targeted (is this by design?), usually I would just tab to an add and it would AOE, however on Thok this then means it misses the screeches and flame-strike is constantly silenced. Could we either allow it to cast AOE even if boss is targetted (maybe Thok only) or not cast flamestrike on Thok (mainly bats being the issue).

It will, but it's generally slower to get to the flag than everyone else (not necessarily a bad thing). It should work for any client, as it's using the clients model name rather than object name. Can always try in an english client to see if that's causing problems.

It shouldn't be stopping if devo aura is up, there's a check in for that already - was it definitely cancelling?

AoE doesn't check for bosses in range, just a count of all units in range. It counts within 10 yards of the targets center point, not the hit box area.
 
Does BGfarmer count enemies on spot?
Playing Arati. Bot runs to Blacksmith solo vs 6 enemy defenders (Ofc i'm dying very fast). All my zerg (bots and players) are attacking Lumber. Two rogues attacking Farm.
For to win it's better to help zerg or at least count defenders :)

Should I disable routine's targeting to let BGfarmer targeting options work?

Are there healer role support? No soloing, stay near attacking/defending group to let routine heal them.

Yea, was defo cancelling (every time). Was watching it cain my dps (and all other ranged dps went from below to above me when we starting popping devo as I was cancelling and they weren't lol).

worked fine if i targeted a bat but then ofc got interrupted, bats were n top of the "off" tank and I was stood in melee basically on top of them. I guess thok was borderline 10 yards away. I assume there is no way to stop it flame striking? TBH I'd happily never cast flame strike on thok it's just too slow.

on a side note. One thing i started doing was casting CoC manually (for some reason this only auto cast on thok when stupidly close to him which ended up being a good thing) whenever screech was being cast, any way we can auto this if in range? I.E save it for screeches. Was getting a nice dps boost being able to hit with a glyphed CoC during his screech most times.
