And they all but 100% used several variables ....

Which is why improving on all fronts to make it harder is paramount. X64, navigation, randomizing, tripwire may be the least effective at the moment tbh.

My view is different than most. They want you in a really bad position. That is no more funds coming in and still having to spend money in the courts. If you wait and find out what happened and then release you will be in a much better position as it may take Blizz a much longer time to find a way to hit us again. We all know nothing is 100% guaranteed but giving in to whiners at this point will surely kill the bot if we get detected once more.

This is my opinion. I believe we were detected. How I have no clue but I believe we were. I did very little botting in the past few weeks. One 8 hr stretch of farming fur every 3 to 4 days and some garrison. It's not time related in the sense of tons of hrs as I probably botted 15-20 hrs a wk tops probably less.

Just don't do the release. Find out what went wrong and fix it. Releasing the bot now serves no real purpose unless you have a working solution to the problem. I recall times past where a month would be reasonable for something of this magnitude. Now one week and we going crazy.

And therein may lie the issue. For all we know it could be centered around the crs. They're present in every facet of the bot and nobody (myself included and I play by hand any time I'm trying to rank) can be bothered to repeat the exact same rotation 100% of the time.

This is why they detect over long periods of time. Days? Sure. Weeks even? But hitting your ideal rotation 100% of the time for years on end while running 32 bit wow is a pretty simple indicator.

As I've aleeady said and anyone with common sense realizes, detection or not, they have so much data on so many variables that it shan't be hard for them to be all but certain for the majority.

The interesting part is that they claim CERTAINTY which implies detection. If that's the case, it's cut and dry. If not, where do they draw the line evidence wise? Also why isn't/aren't they running detection 24/7? Why was it for that small window we have all found to be probable? This leads to data analytics and not the former.

Ultimately, who knows. Touch n go for awhile. I know if I come back and get pinched again I'm done. Not just with HB but with wow period. Should already be the case, the game has steadily declined since TBC but I'll be damned if the time investment with friends and the guild doesn't complicate things.

That and quality mmorpgs are in slim pickings atm. (Thanks again blizzard!). If they would only fix the group dynamic in black desert I could likely post up there until pantheon launches.

Oh well.

Its not CR or Enyo or BGs or anything like that because I have not used my account for any of those and I was suspended. Like Bossland has said we were more than likely detected. This is on a full detection level meaning no matter what you were doing 32/64 or 6,000,000 it did not matter as they somehow saw us for a period of time and NO its no long time period because I was using another account a few weeks ago, stopped mid to early April, and this account is fine.

I believr the best thing ee can do is to determine the time frame first by the accounts that did not get banned. If accounts were banned that have not botted in the past say 2 months but share something with the banned account like say IP address then we may need to remove that scenario from the equation. Bossland would need to know WHEN this happened to see if they can find WHAT happened. If we are to survive and move forward we need to spend less time at each others throat and more time becoming one team to help Bossland figure out what exactly happened. You want the bot back...then help them get the data needed. Otherwise shut up and wait.

Thats my 2 cents....hell I threw in a 3rd for good measure.

1. 32 bit client is easily detected since you have to manually change it to make it 32 bit.

2. Being that I only use Enyo and Custom CRs, I believe the overlay's are a major issue and should be removed. This is something recently added and its also how the PR ban hammer happened.

3. I'd like to see 2 different versions of HB. One that is like an Enyo stand alone, only used for rotation botting, and a second version for questing, pvp, farm ect. This way if another ban happens, if people choose to only use one or the other, you can narrow it down to which is being hunted if only 1 of the 2 get banned. If both get banned, then its because they are using HB source to detect it.

4. They banned by IP. Once confirmed 1 account was using, they just banned all of the accounts linked to that address. My GF and my Roommate both got their accounts banned (they don't have HB on their computers) along with 4 other of my accounts (2 that I haven't used in over 3 months).

4. In order to remove all doubt, if you have already been banned, you will have to wipe your computer and change your static IP to make sure that whatever was on your computer is gone and you aren't linked to your banned account. Personally there are plenty of ways to detect someone using HB since an employee of blizzard could easily be on the forums and get access to all the code they need to do a "search and destroy" action on any code being run identically to what is coded in HB.

5. Personally I figured HB was perfectly safe for how I was using it (just as a rotation bot), however I was wrong. I made the decision to use it on my main account and I paid the price. I will be buying another account and will be using HB once it is up and running. If I get banned again oh well. However it is my choice to do so. I will stick by HB as long as it is in production.

Doesn't make them retarded. Wow has been a dead game for a Long time. May sound cliche but some viewed it as a gift. Most (myself included) struggled to give it up after all the time and effort spent. Blizzard aided in that greatly.

To be fair - you used it to get ahead too. You weren't willing to do the work or put in the time to achieve what you wanted manually so you botted it. Pot calling the kettle black if I ever saw it.

That being said, a difference certainly exists between pve and pvp botting but that sure isn't part of it..

People are only miffed due to complacency and measures that should have been taken (some almost commonplace) that weren't. Only one reason this would be the case and it ain't a good one.

To be fair - after all that time everyone simply thought it couldn't happen to them which made it sting worsw regardless of fault.

i don't know if this is relevent or there is a (de tick) button but everytime wow crashes for me now the send information to blizzard is auto ticked for my client.. i untick it everytime
