Hey,

i play a frost dk and all is great but he doesn?t cast blood boil...
I set blood boil in class setting on 3, but he dont cast it once

did i make anything wrong ?

Frost DK's don't use Blood Boil as part of their spell priority. The only time that Frost DK's use Blood Boil is in an AOE situation if you took the Rolling Blood talent, and even then it is only cast in place of Pestilence to spread diseases.

Each of the three talents provide value, so would recommend purchasing some level appropriate reagent to allow you to change talents and see what you like. Singular supports the use of any of those talents. For details on each talent, you can find a lot of information discussing which talent to take via Googling 'WOW Rolling Blood Talent'. As for not casting Horn of Winter, please see the post Reporting Bugs [CLICK HERE] for details on how to post regarding issues or questions about why / when a specific ability is or is not being used. -Bobby53
 
how can i make my rogue open with ambush? i set true the "Move behind target" and "Stealth Always" options. what should i do? Log doesn't even have any Ambush line, just this;
"[21:17:32.605 D] [SpellManager] Adding known spell: Ambush (8676)"

nothing more. but moves behind the target stealth and opens with melee + sinister strike.

What happened (be specific)? My rogue never uses Ambush spell, it opens with Melee then uses Sinister Strike. I changed "Move behind target" and "Stealth Always" options to "True" but still, no Ambush.

That is described in the Reporting Bugs [CLICK HERE] post that I linked. The best way to indicate when a problem occurred (or something didn't occur) is by adding a LogMark, so check out that part of the instructions.

In this case, since your toon was a Lowbie and those have very limited logic, I was able to see the cause -- although I am really surprised it hasn't been reported before now. The Lowbie priority (less than Level 10) doesn't cast Ambush. This will be fixed in the next release. Once you hit 10 and select a Specialization, you will cast an opener as expected. My apologies for the issue and thank you for taking the time to report, Bobby53

Still receiving too many bug/question posts regarding behavior users watched that don't contain a complete log file and point of reference to when a single event happened. So, no multi-color bright lights this time. Just a simple request to provide the detail.

Don't forget to use the LOGMARK! button. It is located on the Class Config window and will place a mark in the log file making it easy for you to indicate when something happened that you have a question about or problem with. This button provides the same behavior as the LOGMARK plugin. Having a problem while running Singular that you want to report? Click the LOGMARK button immediately when you notice. A line will be added to the log file at that time and now you have a very accurate way to let me know when the problem occurred.

Ok, now that's out of the way:

- Download the latest version of Singular.ZIP from Post #1 in this thread

- .ZIP in Singular thread will always be the current version

- HonorBuddy will contain an older version until a new release of HB posts

Any post must include a debug log file (a file created with Debug Logging set to true.) To do this, click Class Config and set the Debug Logging option to 'true' then run until you create the issue again. The resulting log file will contain more info than a standard log file which will be essential in understanding the decisions being made by Singular which you weren't expecting.

As always, the prior version is still available for download. If you encounter a problem due to the new release of Singular you can always downgrade as needed.

General

change- Debug Logging: debug settings have been moved to the Debug tab (no longer on General) of the Class Config window

fixed - Debug Logging: - Log Level changes - Singular will react to changes in the HonorBuddy Log Level being to Diagnostic. Previously this occurred only on Start, but now will react to changes in Log Level while running.

fixed - Healer Manager: but causing Healer to stand still if beyond Max Heal Target Range and running back to group, Tank pulls while out of range, etc.

fixed - Trinket Usage: trinkets setup as On Cooldown In Combat will only be used when within combat range of target as opposed to immediately upon entering combat.

fixed - Racial Usage: in combat abilities (Blood Fury, Berserking, and Lifeblood) are cast only when in combat range of target.

change- Movement: modifications to stop moving logic to reduce stutter steps, etc. Note: not all occurrences of this are the same. Don't assume another users post regarding this is due to same cause as yours.

change- Training Dummies: for those prefering to fight things that don't fight back, Singular now automatically switches to Instance spell priorities if targeting a Training Dummy. Too many people reporting results while using Singular and not in a group (so Solo/Questing spell priority used which is maximized for quick kills and survival, not Raid Boss DPS.)

fixed - Healer Manager: now correctly handles when a group member turns hostile temporary and removes them from the heal list

change- Debug Logging: DebugTrace setting removed from Class Config to prevent use by users misunderstanding its purpose then complaining about amount of debug log output

fixed - Tank Targeting: bug affecting Tank Targeting while using Questing bot with Tank Role fixed (target priority kept switching between tank aggro list and default Questing list.) Although Questing BotBase does not support group questing, some profile authors have used it to do RAF instance farming. This fix should improve results when trying to automate the tank in group.


Druid

fixed - Balance - now correctly references the standard Avoidance settings on the Class Config -> General tab.

*new* - Feral - now suppots Dispersion obtained via Symbiosis is with Priest

fixed - All Specs - Rebirth cast is now cancelled if target is recognized as being rezzed by another player before cast completes

*new* - Feral - now supports Move Behind Targets setting which controls how to approach target when Prowling

fixed - Guardian - bug preventing entering Bear form when facing trivial mobs

fixed - Resto - bug causing healing to occur only after entering Combat

fixed - Resto - default settings for Heal spells now correctly created.

fixed - Resto - now properly follows tank in combat and stops out of melee range


Mage

*new* - All Specs - added cast of Slow Fall if detect falling. Added setting to allow disabling in user settings if needed

change- All Specs - will cast Ice Ward in all contexts and not just PVP

fixed - All Specs - will correctly cast Evocation and prevent interrupting channel

fixed - All Specs - now moves away only if they are rooted/nova'd in place

fixed - Fire - was not waiting for channeled casts to complete in solo, battlegrounds, or instances

change- Frost - improved cooldown usage while questing

change- Frost - higher priority placed upon Brain Freeze and Fingers of Frost procs to ensure instants are cast quickly


Priest

*new* - All Specs - will cast movement buff on Tank(s) first before self. New setting Use Speed Buff on Tank added to allow user to disable

*new* - All Specs - use of Fade in instances if priest gets aggro, when solo if player pet atttacking, and battlegrounds if talented with Phantasm and currently snared

fixed - Disc - Prayer of Mending made a higher priority

*new* - Disc - Archangel now cast prior to AOE heals

fixed - Disc - Power Word: Shield now correctly available as a heal spell

fixed - Disc - bug preventing cast of Power Word: Barrier

fixed - Shadow - bug causing PW:S to be kept up prior to learning Shadowform

fixed - Shadwo - Instance spell priority

Rogue

*new* - All Specs - additional debug logging for targets appearing to be airborne (which is causing rogue to use Throw more often than expected.)

Shaman

change- Resto - will cast Telluric Currents Lightning Bolt if no group member health % below new Telluric Cast Health %

fixed - All Specs - when Questing if error occurs due to being in Ghost WOlf form while using a quest item, picking up, or turning in a quest, will now prevent casting Ghost Wolf again for 60 seconds. This behavior has been in support for Feral Druid Cat Form for awhile

fixed - Resto - Healing Tide Totem was using fixed heal count of 3; corrected to reference Healing Tide Min Count setting


Warlock

fixed - All Specs - bug where Warlock would try to cast Health Funnel while moving when not able to


Warrior

change- Arms - will only cast Shout during Pull if outside of Charge range or Charge is on cooldown

change- Arms - cooldowns now cast more quickly and stacked

fixed - Arms - exception sometimes occurring when checking if Berserker Rage should be cast

fixed - Arms - adjusted distance check for Dragon Roar to account for hitbox size

fixed - Arms - Sweeping Strikes now cast for 2+ mobs

fixed - Prot - cooldowns now cast more quickly and stacked

fixed - Prot - attacks on flying or raised mobs outside of melee range

An option to "always" use Camouflage? You'll need to be more specific as that doesn't seem very useful and am sure you had more in mind when suggesting it. Jump turn will be in one of the upcoming releases

Hi Bobby,

Great work but i have a question have u delete the Disc Heal Settings in the Class Specific Tab ? There are only Common Healing and Shadow ?

Settings are only in the Group Healing Tab ?
becouse at this moment The Disc Priest is not using the PW : Schield spell on Targets as a Heal spell but i make a Logfile for this.
The PW: Shield on tanks and me works Great.

Issue: Warrior doesn't use Thunder Clap in it's rotation, spell has existed for years.
Correct, it's not a part of its Instance spell priority. If there is a specific situation you are thinking it should be cast you'll need to elaborate.
 
Class: Mage
Spec: Frost
Issue: Mage uses Evocation at 100% Mana

Please see the Reporting Bugs [CLICK HERE] post for steps on posting problems/questions. There isn't enough information present to determine if it should have cast Evocation at 100% Mana (Invoker's Energy buff or restoring health because of glyph) or if it's a bug. Based upon your characters health being < 40% it was most likely a heal, but need the details only present in a debug log to look into this further for you.

I mostly use this kind of ability to set my Toons perm into Stealth while in LFR Dungeons. Forgotten Deapth working not very well to use it afk if you dont stealth thru all the trash mobs. If i use Stealth always with my Druid and Rogue its running most times very well.

Camouflage has a 1 minute cooldown and 50% movement reduction, so an Always Camouflage setting won't provide the same results you get with similar abilities on your Rogue and Druid. That's interesting regarding Forgotten Depths though. Sounds like possibly the script for Forgotten Depths would benefit from casting those abilities for Hunter's that have the glyph as well as Rogues and Druids or a specific plug-in.
 
Bobby, as always, thanks for the update - I have queried several times about an option to disable readiness due to some mechanics that require manual interaction of deterence back to back - Is there anyway to get this on your roadmap, or is it your desire to avoid having to manually enable/disable shot selections like that?

Questing - Moonkin Druid

Log starts at: [09:35:31.938 D] Cleared POI - Reason Done selling/repairing

Mob stays infront of the Targeted Mob but Toon doesnt use killing Spells, just Heal himself and use Typhoon (knockback?) this takes over 15 Minutes! after that WoW gets closed of the Profile because Toon doesnt move from this place because of getting infight for this time as you see on the Picture.

tumbum, Thanks for the post with debug log! It was using DPS Spells, but was getting stuck in AoE logic attempting to cast DoTs on the adds that were behind. With your log I was able to identify the missing facing check. This issue occurs when there 3 or more targets with the CurrentTarget in front of you and one or more of the adds behind you. Fixed in the next release. To work around in the meantime, just disable AOE (via HotKey.) Thanks for the post, Bobby53
