HB ARCHIVES: Singular--DO NOT DELETE

Bobby, as always, thanks for the update - I have queried several times about an option to disable readiness due to some mechanics that require manual interaction of deterence back to back - Is there anyway to get this on your roadmap, or is it your desire to avoid having to manually enable/disable shot selections like that?

Thanks - XaQ
Xaq, Thanks for the post. I haven't had a chance to add support for that yet, but you've definitely been patient so adding next release. I don't want individual control of spells across all classes, but some form of control of cooldowns is needed. Next release will include the ability to set prevent spells with a cooldown matching or exceeding a user specified value (in seconds) that Singular can cast on the General tab. This will provide the ability to prevent use of cooldowns for all spells across all classes. The default will be 0 allowing all spells. So to prevent Singular from casting Readiness but allow spells with a shorter cooldown to cast, a value of 300 will be needed. Hope that works for you and all others wanting additional control of cooldowns. -Bobby53

Bobbye that sounds like a great idea - so anything LESS than 300 seconds, or the set value (or basically everything) would still cast?

*NEW* Singular 3.0.0.2885 available for download!

Change History for this release appears below. Complete Change History as always is included in the .ZIP

See the Reporting Bugs [CLICK HERE] post for details on how to request assistance, post about a problem, or ask questions about the behavior of your botting session with Singular.

Still receiving too many bug/question posts regarding behavior users watched that don't contain a complete log file and point of reference to when a single event happened. So, no multi-color bright lights this time. Just a simple request to provide the detail.

Don't forget to use the LOGMARK! button. It is located on the Class Config window and will place a mark in the log file making it easy for you to indicate when something happened that you have a question about or problem with. This button provides the same behavior as the LOGMARK plugin. Having a problem while running Singular that you want to report? Click the LOGMARK button immediately when you notice. A line will be added to the log file at that time and now you have a very accurate way to let me know when the problem occurred.

Ok, now that's out of the way:

- Download the latest version of Singular.ZIP from Post #1 in this thread

- .ZIP in Singular thread will always be the current version

- HonorBuddy will contain an older version until a new release of HB posts

Any post must include a debug log file (a file created with Debug Logging set to true.) To do this, click Class Config and set the Debug Logging option to 'true' then run until you create the issue again. The resulting log file will contain more info than a standard log file which will be essential in understanding the decisions being made by Singular which you weren't expecting.

As always, the prior version is still available for download. If you encounter a problem due to the new release of Singular you can always downgrade as needed.

--- Release 3.0.0.2885 ---

General

*new* - Cooldown Management: new settings DisableSpellsWithCooldown allows user to block Singular from casting spells with a cooldown equal to or longer than specified value. Disabled by default. Intended for those wanting manual control over cooldowns. If Debug is on, log file will list spells blocked

*new* - Debug Logging: the Singular setting for Debug Logging has been removed. Use the Log Level (setting in HonorBuddy Settings & Tools) to control the output of debug information.

fixed - Manual Movement: bug preventing movement after switching from an AFK bot to manual movement bot

fixed - Error: rare exception occurring when Current Target changed during execution of several continguous lines of code for stopping melee movement

Druid

change- Feral - Instances: the spell priority setting is now a drop down list

fixed - Resto - the health % for Regrowth is adjusted upward to the maximum of Regrowth and Healing Touch prior to learning Healing Touch. This reduces the need to revise health % settings while leveling as a Resto

fixed - Balance - bug occurring in AOE rotation (3+ mobs) while current target is in front, and an add is behind Druid causing it to repeatedly try to apply DoTs to target it isn't facing

Hunter

fixed - All Specs - Pet Abilities: now automatically enables/disables Thunderstomp based upon context (same treatment as Growl)

Mage

fixed - All Specs - Evocation cast requirements reworked. Will only cast for Heal if health < 40%, glyphed, and don't have Rune of Power or Invocation talent

Monk

fixed - Brewmaster - was not casting Tiger Palm as a filler spell until reaching Level 34

fixed - Brewmaster - Tiger Palm cast

change- Brewmaster - Dizzying Haze now indicates target it was cast on instead of location

fixed - Brewmaster - no longer requires 3+ Chi to cast Tiger Palm for buffing expired Tiger Power or Power Guard

fixed - Brewmaster - issues with closing distance via Roll or Clash

Priest

fixed - Disc/Holy - the health % for Flash Heal is adjusted upward to the max of Flash Heal and Greater Heal prior to learning Greater Heal. This reduces the need to change settings when leveling as healing priest in instances.

Warlock

fixed - All Specs - specifically casts Voidwalker's Disarm ability if setting is enabled

change- Destruction - spell priority setting is now a dropdown

fixed - All Specs - now automatically enables / enables autocast of Voidwalker Suffering ability in same fashion as Hunter Pet's Growl

Warrior

change- Arms - spell priority setting is now a dropdown

fixed - Prot - will only cast Berserkers Rage and DPS buffs if in melee range of current target

Worth mentioning one more time due to the large number of posts without log files that are received, but you must attach a complete debug log with any post. Please see the link at the top of this post for details.

Bobby, Singular isn't firing on Raigonn's Weak Spot in DungeonBuddy. Have checked with Tuanha's on hunter and that routine does fire. Singular does not. Have attached logs for mage and elemental shammy. Raigonn fight is at the very end of the logs.

ShortRound, That boss actually works as a vehicle, and while in the vehicle the IsSafelyFacing API is always returning 'false' for the Weak Spot. Have passed it along to the HB Devs as they will need to look into it. -Bobby53

Amputations, Thanks for making me aware of Xaq's post! No, support for UVLS trinket for Demonology Warlocks is not present, but have added for the next release.

For right now have added following behavior changes if UVLS trinket procs:

- enter Metamophosis if not in form
- apply Doom if missing from current target or was not applied while Perfect Aim was active
- stay in Metamorphosis form until Perfect Aim expires

So the above should leverage UVLS for Single Target.

I can do this for AOE, but it will require some housekeeping that isn't already present and I'd like some feedback regarding Single target before proceeding.

Look for it in the next release,
Bobby53

Good luck with that UVLS trinket, bobby. Millz has been fighting with it to work properly for quite a while now. I haven't read the thread lately, but the last time I read it it seemed like he just settled for having things be "good enough" instead of perfect. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but more so saying that that trinket is so random and difficult to plan around that it makes it hard to get a routine to play nice with it.

How in the world can i get it so when I am using this with my mage and questing profiles it doesn't keep turning around and running away and aggroing the entire world?!!!!!!!

I just want to say thank you for the Global Cooldown fix you made in singular. I'm hoping that the GCD will be fixed in near future on HB, but it doesn't look so good :(

Bobby,

First thanks again for all your efforts! Now if this isn't a singular issue I am sorry but it is having a terrible time targeting Sha Remnants. If I need to report somewhere else please let me know. ty

Ruinit: It doesn't appear to be. The following entires:

indicate that the Sha Remnant was identified by the profile to be avoided. From the point the last avoid began to the death of your character, it appears Singular was not being called by the component in control.

I'll pass along to HB Devs, but if you encounter again it may be worth posting in the HonorBuddy Support thread and linking back to this post as another occurrence.

Thanks, -Bobby53

@bobby53 --

What Class+Spec are you?: Shaman / Elemental
What 'context' is the bot in? (Instance, BG, Normal): LazyRaider
What level are you?: 90
Have you made any modifications to Singular?: No modifications made
What time (HH:MM:SS) or LogMark did your issue occur?: No logmark, no issues to report while using, only while using class config
What happened (be specific)?: I noticed in the class config options that there are only healing options, common options, and options for Enhancement. There are no options for Elemental. Was wondering if that was an error, or intentional.
Did you attach a complete debug log? (choose one: YES or YES): No log to attach for this, but I can attach one anyway.

zeldrak, Go to Class Config -> Class Specific and look at the Self-Healing section which applies to all specializations (enhancement/elemental/restoration(solo)/lowbie)? The settings from your log file for these are:
[20:34:31.392 V] [Singular] SelfHealingStreamTotem: 85
[20:34:31.392 V] [Singular] SelfHealingSurge: 40
[20:34:31.392 V] [Singular] SelfAncestralSwiftnessHeal: 25
The only thing which appears in the Enhancement section are settings specific to the use of Maelstrom Weapon procs. There isn't really an Elemental equivalent for that so I had considered the self-healing section sufficient. If something still appears missed let me know and I'll look at adding in an upcoming release. The only two which do PVP off-healing presently are Enhancement Shaman and Feral Druids because of the instant heals.. -Bobby53

Edit: actually that isn't in Feral Druid (could have sworn I added already.) In the next release

Oh, I see. I thought each spec had its own set of options. I could have overlooked it while I was setting up Singular, but I didn't see anywhere to place an AoE add count. Using PR2, as an example, I can set my AoE add count to whatever I want. There are a few other settings that can be configured for each spec, which is why I thought Singular would be very close, if not the same.

Intentionally the focus is on Apoc's original tag line vision statement - "Singular - It just plain works." That means figuring out automatically what the best typical response is to a combat scenario and invoking that. Automatically determining is more complex and takes good user feedback and typically multiple versions for refinement, but fills a critical role as a Combat Routine that only requires the user to click Start for it to work well. For members that don't want that and prefer control via settings over as many aspects of the behavior as possible, Singular is probably not the best choice for their botting needs. -Bobby53

I think it would be a good idea to add detection for Glyph of Mass Excorcism when using the Paladin Retribution AOE rotation.
This is easily one of the best if not the best AOE damage spell for Ret Pala's, and would make a great addition when farming.

I don't know if this has been added yet in the latest version, but it's not in the version that comes bundled with Honorbuddy.
