HB ARCHIVES: Navigation/mesh errors and problems - POST THEM HERE!--DO NOT DELETE!

[Edited by HighVoltz on Feb 17, 2015] I need start and end locations to investigate this. Flightor only uses mesh when it's traveling on the ground.


Firelands, all of it, not sure if navigation issue or mesh issue. Unless something is CTM it just tries to beeline the co-ords, even into deadly holes of lava or getting stuck on walls. I worked around it and got it done but would be good to be able to use MoveTo to bosses instead of huge amounts of CTM just to make it more reliable.

Also in Brunnhildar village, the roof of the girl that gives The Abberations Must Die, just doesn't seem to be able to get out of there if there's a FlyTo out, gets stuck continuously. Not a big problem making it move out of the building before it flies just fine to where it needs to get.

Deepholm in the big main building but probably a Kick's profile issue, it got stuck trying to get to the other side of the map by trying to go through the building.

Sorry i dont have a log for it. But in Shadowpan Monastery, at the entrance, there are 3 packs of mobs all standing around some kind of orb channeling something. The bots and any normal player just pull 2 of those packs to get past to the first boss, but if you have a hunter with barrage or a boomkin with starfall the third pack pulls too, it's on some kind of elevated platform with a small stair going up to it. The tank then goes up there to tank them and doesn't know how to get down again.

As posted by Phelon, my character is also getting stuck at this same spot in the middle of the Ashran map against the flagpole. It gets stuck here each time while trying to hook a right towards the Seat of Kor'lok coming from the south.

Here is the location information for the stuck position:

in Gorgrond? Might be a bit narrow and require jump links to get back down but it would make the bonus objective quest a whole lot easier to do. Some routines do not fall back to ranged attacks and line of sight if you can't get into melee range.

[Edited by HighVoltz on March 19, 2015] Garrison/Outpost buildings are not supported by HB at this time. GarrisonButler and similar products are responsible for handling navigation in those areas. Please report bug in the product's support thread.


My character gets stuck in the War Mill in level 3 garrison each time I run GarrisonButler. The character gets stuck behind the pile of grenades to the right inside the door. Here is the location:

Dynamic buildings in the garrison aren't handled by HB itself yet.
This is a 3d party module , which has its own navigation. So you should go to its topic and report your problem there.

in ashran there are bonfires you can't walk on top of them but the mobs they can.
so the bot will try to stand in the bonfire but it just can't
or the mob is on the other side and the bot just wants to walk true the bonfire without any luck

When doing Safety Measures - Quest - World of Warcraft i get stuck on gameobjects.

I cannot you the XYZ cords since Honorbuddy is down, however, there seems to be a big mesh issue into Isle of Giants.

In last pic, the green path is the one created inside the profile. The red arrows is the way the bot decides to go, crosses are location which the bot does not even come through.
I would really appreciate it if this can be looked as with some urgency, the last Mesh issue I could fix it with a work-around, this Mesh issue completely breaks down the current profile.
I can post the XYZ cords once Honorbuddy is back up.

firelands needs a complete rework, i am trying to make a profile for the bosses and running in to a few problems right off the bat, the bot is getting stuck on nothing just jumpping around trying to unstuck itself, it will not run down at the start without CTM

ddint think i needed to fill out all the info above coz its not one small stuck its tons inside the instance, if you play around in there you will see what i mean, just try to send the bot down at the start, try and sent the bot to the 1st boss, its not looking good for my profile i will need to do a lot of CTM

anyinfo u need i can try to get but the instance is in need of a complete rework

Low FPS or TPS can cause false stuck detects. Please attach a log so we can verify.

Navigator.CanNavigateFully returns false.

The problem is the to-point. No matter where I am in the area around this point, CanNavigateFully will return false. It may only be during Darkmoon Faire, as the ToPoint is near the Darkmoon Faire portal in Elwynn Forest.

Horde Garrison (and most likely Alliance as well) Mine.

When the Mine has not yet been built, it is still navigable. It shares (i believe) a mesh with the Level 1 Mine. It only closes when it's "Under Construction" There is a pre-quest that requires us to head in and kill a boss, and the mesh believes there is no viable path.
