Level 85 Alliance Pandaria Quest "Potency" Bad Quest?

This has happened on two characters I have leveled. A quest called "Potency" seems to idle and do nothing. I dont think this is a profile issue, but rather a Quest problem. After it kill the mist creepers, supposedly a mist horror should appear, however no mist horror appears and the toon will idle around waiting for the mob. Is there a way to blacklist this quest and move on.

Hi, Lowlyffe,

That's a known bug in the WoWclient. See the first comment here. Basically, you'll need to leave the area and return. If its done right, there will be an "orange mist" around your screen, and you'll be followed by a "Inconspicuous cloud". Right click on the cloud and the Horror will show up.

I sent Kick the fix for that about a month ago, but he left out the part about leaving the area and returning. As such, if you get the WoWclient bug while using his profile (and not everybody does), you're screwed. I guess his approach to that was to let Bliz fix the bug on their end. :D

You might try updating his profile pack and see if he's fixed it. If not, do that quest manually, and restart Honorbuddy, and you should be off-and-away.

Kicks: Excellent profile untill u reach townlong steppes, from here on out a few quests in, the bot itself comes into trouble. The zone is simply horendous, and the chance of dieing increases to the amount of not worth it. There are places where the bot will head rush into elites with 4-5 adds = near instant death, fetch corpse and start over :(, cant recall the quest name but it had to do with turtle shells & stuff from the big rhino creatures. Other than that Ive only found one true problem on my route to 90 in Panda.
Kun-Lai summit: Kicks profile isnt capeable of restarting after a break, i had it do 5 inital quests in the zone, and then i stopped, when returning it saw the whole zone as finished, and started to run all the way to the next one. A couple of more checks towards if this or that quest had been done and the bot would have done a better job.
This isnt per se a Kic's problem more of a zone problem which isnt bot friendly as there simply are too many areas where a player would stop and do another route, but where a bot just charges in and dies.

Im currently leveling another toon in Panda, and I'll report what I find from my experience there aswell. Keep up the good job!

I'm not specifically sure, but I do know that all instances I've tried are with a clean installation. I believe that one of my dudes did fish correctly as it had one of those daily nat pagle turn ins in its bags when i woke up this morning. So, if that is indeed that case I've had it both working and non-working on clean installations. I'll try to pay attention to it today. I assume not, but does this quest behavior require having autoangler installed?

Autoangler does not need to be installed. I'm going to see if it works again today. I'm working on jumping the shark too.
 
So I had Piranha again today, and I sent it off to do it's thing. I should have left my old install to test out with cache, without cache, and with new install, but...

Either way: I used Quiksmage's concept of copy/paste of a clean install, and it's working for me. Thats not to say thats how to get it to work everytime, but it is working 2 days in a row for me.
Hopefully I can get it again tomorrow and test it out, but RNG is never kind to me...I woke up this morning to test the Shark...and the shark despawned and there goes that idea...
 
I'm having a /weird/ issue with the [Fly][H - Quest] LK 68-80 profile. Basically it doesn't move at all, happens with both the current release build of HB and the beta. I'm really at a loss of what's causing it as other profiles move and quest perfectly fine.

Added in support for 1 of the 3 nat pagle fish (won't fish for it, mind you, just use it if you have it at the end of the anglers dailies)
Fixed some pathing for Jagged Abalone, hopefully won't get stuck on the coral anymore.
Fixed Bright Bait, now faster and smarter.
 
So maybe this is a stupid question but... what's the point of this botbase? It doesn't target, it doesn't move.... I already control my own movement and targeting within my CC.. so again, what's the point?

And to re-iterate ez101's question... what does this do differently than the RaidBot built-in to HB?
 
the shark can be re-summoned by talking to the quest giver and clicking "i need another shark" or something similar. assuming the quest is still available to you that is.

Edit: probably out of area of what you want to do, but is there a chance you'd want to add support for full farming. Currently I use a profile that was on the forums that plants songbells, and I edited all the lines to make it work with the vegetable I want, The profile however only works with full exalted on tillers with all the quests for irrigation system, master plow, etc to work. Just thought I'd ask.

Eh...kinda outside my scope for now...maybe in the future I will. I could add a folder full of "plants all of X" profiles. Right now I'm still trying to get this done because I haven't touched my 2 other projects in a while. (See my Compendium for those).

A Gift for Chee Chee and Chee Chee's Backyard. I'm not sure which one it was trying to turn in, but Chee Chee was not at halfhill and it kept trying to turn in the quest at that location.

Which would mean those quests were picked up on a previous day. Since those NPCs move when it's "not their day", I only supported when they were...its a bit more to try and support two locations for 1 npc.
 
First off I would like to thank you for creating this profile: Thank You!! I created a horde character and have been running this profile since level 1. I have noticed that some point in Eastern Plaguelands my toon quit mounting up, he just runs everywhere on foot. Is there a reason it doesn't mount up? I checked the settings and everything looks correct. Any help is appreciated.

UPDATE: So I messed with the settings some more and he decided to start using a mount. Sorry to waste your time

startin the bot at valley of the four winds. and all he does is walk to Xiao (npc) and talk with him. i have allrdy done that quest.. he does it all the time. whats could i do?

user failed to copy over the behaviors as stated in the first post
