Does this automatically do the Enlightenment quest for monks? or does that have to be done manually? Also when the quests get green is there a way to get the bot to check and move to different area? Thanks so much
Hi,
Killa Krispys,
Can't answer your "Enlightenment" question, as I've yet to roll a Monk.
As to 'skipping ahead' (from green quests), if a profile is written with
Checkpoints, then yes, its possible. Honorbuddy only evaluates a profile's Checkpoints when Honorbuddy starts, and not when a toon dings. So, to 'skip ahead' in a profile with checkpoints, you'd hit Honorbuddy's "Stop" button, and when it stops, hit Honorbuddy's "Start" button. This forces Honorbuddy to re-evaluate the profile's checkpoints in the context of the toon's current level. If the profile has an appropriate checkpoint for your level, then Honorbuddy will start there.
Kick's
early profile packs were written with
Checkpoints.
But, his later two--Cataclysm and MoP--don't have any checkpoints defined. This is because at the time, every ounce of experience was needed to hit the target level for the Bliz expansion. In Cataclysm, the entire Vashj'ir zone was skipped because Honorbuddy doesn't do underwater navigation. So all the experience to hit 85 had to come out of the remaining Cataclysm zones. As far as MoP, Bliz has provided just enough content to hit 90 by the time you hit Dread Wastes. Since the Dread Wastes profile requires flying, you must be 90 when it starts. Some people are still having problems achieving 90 by Dread Wastes.
IMHO, it was smart to leave out
Checkpoints for the later two expansion packs. If they had been present, the level goal would have never have been reached, and a lot of grinding areas would be required to supplement.
Obviously, if you've got Heirloom, Guild bonuses or both, you'll experience quests going green or grey, instead.
Kick designs his profiles for the 'common denominator', of new people entering the game and not having access to such perks.
