Alas, they not only changed her location, but the requirement to interact. You'll need to fix your profile as described a few pages back, to have it work properly.

HUGE update tonight!

I added all of Ban Bearheart's quests in Shado-Pan, except 1. The one that requires you to mount the dragons in the sky I did not add yet. I need it up for me, to really test, so I can play around with it. I don't want to pass on a half assed one there.

I am not certain if this is a profile or bot related issue, but I am chancing my luck for the profile.

I experience problems with how far my character goes into people to attack them in melee. My character is standing almost on their toes, which causes it to bug sometimes with the message "Target needs to be infront of you."


Any ideas for this?

Hi again, BadTank,

This log isn't doing the same thing as the last one. It looks like you took a taxi to Grookin Hill, Jade Forest to pick up a quest called The Scouts Return. You landed, and it wanted to pick up the quest, but doesn't look like it was moving to do so.

Might try moving the toon near Rivett Clutchpop, and see if it will continue from there. I've no clue why this is giving you grief, but it looks like an Honorbuddy problem, and not a profile one at the moment.

deepholm profile is bugged or something. just stands ontop of gun ship and tries to pick up quests that iv already completed..

Hi, Swalanka,

You've actually got two problems going on. 'Distance to engage' the mob, and 'facing the target'. Neither is a profile problem--engagement distance is determined by the Combat Routine, and facing the target is either a problem with the Combat Routine, or a bug in Honorbuddy.

Currently, some Combat Routines gets closer to a mob than they probably should, and this causes the mobs to 'back up a bit', then your toon closes the distance again, and that dance repeats until the mob is dead. Combat Routines do this because some mobs have an overly large bounding box for an NPC engagement distance, and if it didn't your toon would stand just out of melee range for the mob while trying to attack it (which is deadly for melee classes).

You could try a different Combat Routine, and see if you get better results. But Singular--which ships with Honorbuddy--does things the most conservative way possible. If you are using Singular and want Bobby53 to take a look at it, post your complaint in the Singular Thread. You will need to follow the instructions in his Post #4 for reporting bugs; otherwise, your report will be discarded.

Any time you ask for help, you should post a log. If you want to discuss this problem further, please post your request in the thread for the appropriate Combat Routine, or the Support forum, not here.

Hi, Agh, and thanks for the log!

It seems the profile needs to be updated since the Honorbuddy rewrite. Find file "[A - Quest] Night Elf 1-5 [Kick].xml", and change line 269 to this (Notepad++ gives you easy access to line numbers):

<If Condition="!Styx.CommonBot.SpellManager.HasSpell(5143)">​

You should be off-and-away after this.

Hi, Tumbum and Spalaka,

Kick's profiles wove quite a bit of magic to make things happen. Unfortunately, the Honorbuddy rewrite broke some of this magic.

I see a line in the profile that I believe is causing this problem, but without a log am unable to confirm it. I'm not going to post a fix for something I can't confirm is broken.

Next time, please post a log, if you want it fixed.

Hi, Techneek,

This is not a profile problem, believe it or not. The easiest way to trigger this problem is to switch toons (or do a quick log out/in) without restarting Honorbuddy.

Most of the time, the problem is repaired by clearing your caches...
Follow these instructions for clearing your caches, and you should be off-and-away.

Hi, Tumbum, and thanks for the log and the timestamp!

There are a couple of things going on here. The first is a profile problem that we'll have to leave for Kick to solve--it hasn't been updated to buy the Pandaren-specific mount. It looks like you've got your mount and riding skill, so the profile should be skipping over the attempt to learn training if you restart it.

The other problem is you've got a plugin called "SupremeTargets" that is throwing all kinds of exceptions and preventing your profile from operating properly. Try disabling this plugin, and you should be off-and-away. If not, please attach another log (with SupremeTargets disabled), and let us have a look.

Sooo this is a dumb question im sure but ill go ahead anyway!

The profiles have to be loaded seperatly right?
 
Found a small problem in the 1-58 Alliance EK

Just had to comment out the Draenei thingy to get it to run correctly. Otherwise it would en up in an endless loop since it hasn't completed a perfect costume.
