HB ARCHIVES: DungeonBuddy--DO NOT DELETE

few months back i suggested a fix for bloodmaul slag mines exit cordinate. If you want to farm bloodmaul slag mines you cant with the hbuddy version because it never exits, the cordinate isnt close enough to the exit. I have fixed it on my end and fix it every time a new hbuddy drops but still wondering why i was ignored when it is a problem. At the time I posted the correct cordinate and nothing was done.....
At times, it takes months for things to be addressed with this botbase.

why do you guys keep deleting a message by me when im trying to give a bug that needs ot be fixed?just because there isnt a log doesnt mean its that hard to figure out. the cord for exiting bloodmaul slag mines is not correct the bot will not exit the dungeon when farming it.

Why do you keep submitting bug reports without a log file? Its not that hard to figure out how to do it. You've been around for a couple years. Have you not noticed that EVERY SINGLE THREAD states that a log must be submitted before a bug will be looked at? Do it right - or don't whine it doesn't get looked at.
 
Regarding HB-2096: DungeonBuddy: Shado Pan Monastery (heroic): Rogue always get stuck at Sealed Chamber door
I know in the Ragefire Chasm script Highvoltz hacked together a spell blacklist workaround on Slagmaw for a monk using Roll. Could the same code be used in this instance?

JimT has nailed it. Without a log, the issue is a problem with the user's installation. Period.

90+% of the time, the so called "DungeonBuddy problems" are caused by user mis-configuration, use of third-party combat routines that are incapable of running dungeons correctly, interfering plugins, under-powered machines, or whatever.

Trying to do Draenor normals in a 5-man group, I keep finding my team with the deserter debuff. It appears that only the tank and healer are entering the dungeon.I don't know if this is relevant, but I have two party members with the same name on different realms. [Removed toon names —chinajade]

Simply wow! We haven't seen anything like this.

First, we've opened HB-2156("DungoenBuddy: Confusion about presence of group members") against the issue.

We noticed that one of your party members appears to be cross-realm, and are wondering if this could be the crux of the problem. Your FPS and Latency are good, but the problem could be that things are slow to update WoWserver-side, and is causing the problem.

The other thing we've never seen is a deserter buff applied to a 5-man dungeon. This is news to us, but most of our testing doesn't place us in situations where this is a possibility.

Will just have to wait to see how the bug report shakes out. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey Chinajade,

Quick question I'm wondering if you can help me with.

Is it possible with dungeonbuddy to create a custom script that will queue for certain dungeons based on level of character or of characters in the party? Or perhaps with Professionbuddy?

Some dungeons aren't ideal to bot with due to the pathing groups take but setting a specific dungeon quickly becomes obsolete as you out level it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I have a semi workaround for this issue. Most dungeons are fine so random queueing works. What I did was take the code from the Oculus.cs and put it into the dungeons I didn't want to do (Vortex Pinnacle). I have to eat the 30 minute deserter but that is better than having to manually change dungeons or risk getting reported. Ideally there is some way to do it like in my OP. I think with Professionbuddy it should be doable but I dont know how.

While doing all this I figured a way to skip to the next task in HBrelog would be very useful. Does anyone know of a way to call the HBRelogSkip.cs from the Quest Behaviours in Dungeonbuddy. I'm looking at the plugin LogMeOut as that gives options to call LUA based on a number of factors, the one I am interested in being level. Again any help would be appreciated.

I attached my Vortex Pinnacle file in case anyone is interested in the idea.

Hello, been using dungeonbuddy for a while and i came across this bug. In shadowmoon burial grounds, right before Nhallish, bot stops and keeps applying blackspots to 2 hidden packs of mobs that appear after u "step" on them. Also attached log:

The problem appears to be with your combat routine. Go back to Singular, and the dungeon should be run correctly.

Damn ok, I dont suppose you could point me in the right direction? I really dont even know where to start. Something simple like look for x or find y.

Alliance toons running Farming mode on Mogu'shan Palace will try to repair at the horde shrine resulting in the guards killing you and you dying in an endless loop. ( The bot cant even find the body back either )

I guess it would be check for 5 man until it can move. In fact, I don't need 5 man to run this dungeon. And I also don't have 5 accounts. Why not adjust it for an flexibility team number?
 
Dungeon: Blackfathom Deeps
Issue: Unable to properly navigate to Guardian of the Deep (an optional boss). Endless CTM loop between two locations. Blackfathom Deeps is not AFK-able (with optional bosses enabled) until this navigation issue is resolved.

EDIT: It appears that setting Optional Bosses to False avoids this issue. I guess that's a work-around for now. :/

Shouldn´t be the reason. Did you check the spec settings from your DD´s? F.E. if your warrior is Arms and spec setting is Fury the warry won´t enter the dungeon. Had this issue with one of my DD´s. You have to do the specc setting in HB settings, not in combat class.

PS: remove the names. ;)

The reason is usually a relog causes one character to be named "unknown" when it logs back in, and then the bots will leave the party because the right members arent in it. Look into your network connectivity to prevent that from happening.

Thats your settings being messed up or your CR. Not dungeonbuddys fault.
