First of all, I've returned from my personal time off - Running intensively at physical therapy to get my body back in shape as well. Which is making some good progress to be honest. Secondly - FUP3 isnt that far away anymore, I'm finishing the core and it will be available for my beta testers in a few days. This FUP3 is based on the latest technologies and will most likely solve the all important performance issues.
During my absense I havn't been sitting around either - I had a second developer to review the entire code of FUP2 but with no avail. He was unable to track the cause of the FPS performance issues. Tracing it, there was no big performance eater etcetera. In the end he just told me that it might just be the old techniques (Behavior tree).
FUP3 will have no behavior tree techniques left, and only the new coroutines combined with treehooks. The new system gives us more flexibility in dynamically adjusting the rotations as needed, without overcomplicating the actual combat trees. This is something I'm looking forward to myself as well.
As I mentioned before - Everyone who bought FUP2 will get the upgrade to FUP3 for free - And this offer will stand until FUP3 is released to the public.
I do realise that a little bit more feedback from my end would've solved alot of your doubts, and I'm sorry for that. Again, I will not leave you guys in the dark and FUP3 will once again rule the warrior world.
