@vinfinite, That is a profile logic play, I think we talked about this lol!. Right now we need to work out kinks/problems with cards not being played right or general play of the game, that seems more related to individual play style. but definitely something that would be changed or should be changed.

I know it's profile logic, it doesn't matter if I use profile logic or bot logic interchangeably because so far there is not a difference between any profiles that would play that situation differently. So it doesn't matter what kind of logic it is using right now, the fact of the matter is it has currently 1 logic that we MUST use (since we HAVE to use the bot's logic, and the profile's logic is built upon that, we can't pick and choose as of yet). So yes, it's a problem, and therefore I was giving feedback on it.

and working on one logic isn't mutually exclusive on another logic, the devs can be handling both at the same time, because frankly they go hand in hand. When you design just a card logic, that means nothing if you don't have a profile to tell it WHEN to play it. So just because you can tell a card how to target another card, doesn't mean that it will target the right card, therefore card logic is useless without a profile logic to go with it (and how bot logic is useless without the other two). I hope I was able to explain it well.

EDIT: Obviously in the future when we can make our own profiles and what not, the problems with the situation I illustrated above would be based on the profile you've selected. But again, I emphasize that we have the bot AS IS and thus, all feedback should be given, regardless of it being profile/bot/whathaveyou.

The thing is, the developer(s) will not change "profile" logic to yours, or anyone elses thoughts. If you think that is a bad play, its can be mentioned, but honestly i have seen that it won't help get the API out faster. It will fall on deaf ears.

If you look at the posts, it has been made clear that if you feel the bot should play differently, WONT be changed because its not the developers way of playing.

So to emphasize. To get a "finalized" bot you will get a bot that plays the DEVELOPERS way. Then we get profiles to play a DIFFERENT way.

So while I do agree with you, that logic, that play may or could have been played better, it will not get us an API faster. That is why I am trying to filter out all these issues to just basic bot and card logic so the developer(s) can fix those mistakes/issues and get us our API faster.

Will be doable once the API is released. Which will be released once the kinks of the bot are worked out.
 
Please, fix the problem. The bot will do nothing when there is only one taunt minion on the field. I lost several games like that.
 
While playing Shaman:

1. Bot plays Lightning Storm .. then Unbound Elemental: It should always play Unbound Elemental before any skill with "Overload" to gain the +attack and hp.

2. The bot played "Doomsayer": then it played another minion. Doomsayer should be played to clear the board from opposition minions and no minion should be played after it.

3. While playing against a rogue. He played Gadgeztan Auctioneer, then used "conceal". The bot kept trying to silence him with "earth shock" although the only minion the enemy had was stealthed until the time ran out.

i dont know if im the only one but the bot seems to be laggy i have a good gaming pc with 16gig of ram 2400mhz i7 3770k gtx 760 but without the bot hearthstone doesend lag hearthbuddy lags when trowing the card and when using the card that is on the bot i dont have that with another one

known issue, some attempt is being worked on to fix this,

i hope it wil be soon because that makes me to use the other one til its fixed:) the bot has great features but i dont like the laggy stuff:) because its noticeble that youre a bot if there are laggy games

I am currently running hearthbuddy on a macbook (late '13) and can't see any lag. Are you running other stuff in the background, that might slow it down somehow?

Signed. There is something not right with attacking taunts.

Also please make bot mulligan 4 drops away at least in rush profile. It's a rush profile - most of your cards will be 1-3 drops so it's really better to throw that 4 drops away.

@greenxeyezz: So now we are getting only major problems fix while most of the time is spent on getting that API ready? If it's true I support that method. Most of the logic problems will be solved by community once we get that API out and even now bot gets 50% win rate so it's fine.
BTW are you going to implement some basic combo logic like ping own raging worgen with mage power or leeroy + shadowstep thing or will you leave that for after API is released?

About lags - I can see it lag sometimes but personally I don't see it as a big problem. Also I can't really find why it lags. I can have 20 tabs open in chrome, photoshop running, youtube playing and it wont lag and sometimes I have everything closed and it will lag.

nope im not running anything on the background hearthbuddy lags sometimes when trowing a card on the board and when using the card

You mind doing a little gif or video and show what you mean? (Only the frame where the cards are, without user names etc.)
 
there is a bug with

Crazed Alchemist card in shaman it keeps dropping and taking it back and does nothing but spamming that

its just when trowning the card on table it lags i dont have those issue without it it happens sometimes not all the times witch is weird wel i should not have frame issue i have a gtx 760 i7 3770k and hyper x 16 gig 2400mhz im not the only one here that has those lags i dont make video its not a big lag its just it get stuck for a second then go further

Did you have any minions on the board? This seems to be an issue when you have no minions on the board and only sometimes. This tends to happen with any card that has a battlecry in which you would normally play on your own minions but since you don't have any the bot goes in a loop. Noted on issues to be fixed already.

ye sometimes the bot has alot of minions on board sometimes not but it also happns when there is one minion sometimes and when gettting a new card on the board i gues it shouldnt be a hard fix it shouldnt be that hard to fix the lag stuff and it only happns with the bot it happens with all kind of cards not just battlecry
 
hearthbuddy completly ignoring to kill minions on board i just saw it happn in arena?
