Buddy Wing - Space Mission Bot

The missions Balosar and Javaal are mixed up in the profiles.

And yeah, as has been said, the bot abandons mission way too quickly because of the loading screens, so at the moment it is absolutely useless. Not sure why this was released if it doesn't work at all...

Just tested this out. First time went into mission fine, but then died. After that just spams chair, says failed, restarts, spams chair, restarts. Then cant move and have to restart game.
lvl 50 with all purples and items can get with coms.
 
Yep been space botting with no problems using luckys, this one can shoot down 1 ship before it dies or fails mission right now. Hopefully it gets better.

Because it was working perfectly fine before. The newest patch has changed a _lot_ of things internally, which tends to mess with the way we used to do stuff. We're on the matter and it will get fixed.
 
unfortunately it's a shame that the space missions bot is failing with the new perks levelling my alt be x50 faster so hurry already Aevitas and fix this ish lol (: <3

To-do list:

Make the bot evade debris and obstacles.
Make the bot use its missiles on objectives.
Make the bot use the Power to Blasters and Power to Shields abilities.

Not counting collision deaths, how did internal testing even manage to complete Max Level Missions like Clouds/Zosha/Aeten/Kalee without using missiles and "Power to Blasters"?

I can do without missiles but without "Power to Blasters" is pure impossible.
 
Can't wait for this really, need to level my toons and there's no other way short of playing by hand.
 
Just want to give everyone a heads up that we're working around the clock on improving the Space Mission bot, we aim to make it do far more than just fly around the grid and shoot things. We've not forgotten about you. :)
 
i don't think a bot like this will ever be able to do space missions nearly as well as pixel/recording based bots. space missions require a certain level of intelligence in choosing different targets at specific times and being aware of the clock in that decision making that a bot like this is never gonna have.

plus it has already been perfected by pixel/recording based bots and some of them are free so from a business perspective it seems like a bad idea to invest in this for you guys.

what you should do is perfect your quest bot and i know you guys dont like this but a pvp bot, one that plays well and is indistinguishable from an average player. these two things would generate a lot more sales for you guys.

I would disagree with you.
- Not everyone can use pixelbots. The amount of photoshopping after patches is horrid.
- Pixelbots are not perfected yet.
- Pixelbots are not background. If you bot, you can't do anything else on your PC.
- Putting Pixelbots in Vmware is a waste of resources.
- Quest bot is being fixed by other dev
- PvP bot will lead to more can of worms, closet of skellies and pandora boxes. (Haven't you seen how bot-like the movement of the quest bot was?)
- Most people who wants to pvp would have moved onto GW2.
- Leveling speed of Spacebot > PVP. More alts = More Companions to Spam Crew Skills = More Credits.
- PVP suck at Credits/XP rewards per unit time.

Your answer makes no sense. What are you trying to say? I mean; the original statement is correct, irrefutable and one of the most important statements in here. If I use a pixelbot I can't do *anything* else on that computer anymore. That's a pretty huge waste of a system that can run multiple bots (usually 4*HB + BW) whilst I do my normal day-to-day work.

It's actually the other way around. If all the devs were working on all features then they'd be jacks of all trades. As it is, every dev is a master of the field he is working in.

It's not about controversy, it's about a shitload of other/more work. PVP bot is a whole different ballgame, nothing comparable to what's already there.
 
So what space profiles work I am a lvl 31 BH with with tier 3 ship equipment and the only one that has worked for me is Saleucami Fleet Action, Nez Peron Sweep hits astroids and blows up and Saraphin asault still loads too fast and keeps reloading. Tried Luckys but no luck.
 
what i am saying is that the developers of this bot make the same amount of money whether you are running one instance on 3 separate computers or if you run 3 instances on one computer. so from their perspective the fact that this could multi bot on a system is not a reason for them to make this space bot if they are a business that is interested in making profit.

about the jack of all trades and master of none statement. i believe this is true. i think they are being spread thin here especially with D3 and everything else and if they could just focus on the questing bot and making it amazing and smooth that seems the better choice to me. especially when making a space bot like this may not even be possible since the space missions basically require human level decision making and not simple "oh there is a target, shoot at it". plus as i said they are going against competition that is free and works for like 500 mission successes for one mission failure.

i think pvp would be a lot easier than a space bot. just having the thing running around and zapping people would be what your average idiot pvp'er does anyway. and is definitely something a bot can do.

but my main argument is that this won't ever be possible, plus you're up against free competition so why even bother? how the hell is a bot that makes its own decisions ever gonna be able to accomplish these missions with any consistentency. the pixel/recording based bots work because a human who is really good at it and done it a hundred times and knows what is coming up next (knowledge of the future) already figured it all out and wrote the perfect path and best targetting decisions for it.

Good working space mission bot is, atleast what i think, very high on the wish list for people. Using AutoIt or whatever for space missions sucks big time as you can't use your computer for anything else. Using VMWare is just plain dumb and if you use it you still have to be at the computer as it has the tendency to start lagging out.

But... for me personally the highest on the list is a bot where i can set what to loot, what to attack and attack range. With these three simple things i could easilly double my credits per hour compared to space missions.
