[PAID] BGFarmer - An Advanced Battleground Bot Base

Is there anyway to make the movement less bottish? When I play my feral druid or rogue it constantly tries to circle the target and get behind it. It looks SUPER bottish. I have tried Vitalics, Tuana's, Singular, and even let BGFarmer do the movement. All of it is the same.

Also, can you add an option to not train a healer for 5 minutes? The bot tried to attack a healer at Blood Elf Tower for like 5 minutes, the healer was just constantly out healing my damage and doing /lol on me as I tried to get behind him. He was just turning his character repeatedly and looked i really bottish trying to get behind him. I don't know of anyway to not make it do that but it would be a nice feature to have.

I've been using BGFarmer since the opening of the store and I have noticed the same behavior on my rogue when letting BGFarmer control movement. Like you, I experience the circles problem but the thing that is worse than that is the rogue will randomly take off away from the target, get about 20-30 yards away, then turn around and come back. I also use TuanHA (Paid) and I have found that disabling movement in BGFarmer and using the movement options within TuanHA works well. Let me know if that helps you any.

Kind regards,

Still playing with the settings but I've noticed that when I let BGFarmer do all the targeting, it loves to target totems and hunter pets. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? I have all the options turned off (Healers, low HP and gear).

Its not even targeting good totems.. its targeting totems like Searing totem and crap like that.

It will switch targets once it has a better target available, but BGFarmer needs to be fairly relaxed on it's choices of what to attack. You can't fully disable BGFarmer's targeting, the options just give it preferences. The combat routines are what handle the main targeting selections.

That movement issue was fixed in the last build. It shouldn't happen any more. I'm putting a fix in the next build to resolve some stutter stepping issues (but that mainly affects casters/ranged).

Hi
Just bought your bot and tryied it. but in the first bg (strand of the ancient's) the bot goe's to the gates and stand to the portal (not usable cause i'm attacker) and hang there all bg long...
what's the problem?

Heres the log

thx for the help

Hey

Thanks for the log. Not really sure what's happened there! I'll add some debugging to find out how that's happened. Potentially something changed since WoD.

Cheers

Sweet! I'll check it out. Thanks for your continued efforts on this great product.

1st) awesome botbase. Been using it for a long time now without issues.

2) Can you look into alterac valley with a range class or specifically a mage? I'm using your botbase and your custom class for mage. Everything is good except for the 2 boss fights (alliance) Galv and Drek. On those fights the mage will enter the room, run to the back corner and not face target because it keeps running into the wall for half of the fight and then eventually turns and casts. I've tried different settings with movement/targeting/facing in both the CC and botbase with no luck. My Melee characters and healers have no problem in this spot. If I use Default bgbot and default CC it's fine, if I use bgbot and your mage CC the issue happens, bgfarmer+singular the issue happens so it must be a copied/shared code between the botbase and your CC.

In MoP it didn't do this. It's not a huge deal but if you could look into it down the road after taurenmill-southshore I would appreciate it :)

Again, your botbase and CC are awesome. Worth it.

I can confirm similar behavior on my mage.

Hey Millz,
I have an idea to improve the movement in caster.
There is a problem with the distance from the target that is too strict. My character always tries to be 30m (exactly) and so he made small steps (not a human behavior). There should be a limit to +/- 2m for example to avoid that.
What do you think ?

Hansaplast, was thinking about the same thing, 'keep-distance' setting should vary from X to Y or, in other words, be in range between X and Y.

Can you both post a log file please :)

Yeah it's fixed in next build already :)

[26/Nov/2014]
- [SotA] Added force stop moving when on the boat during preparation.
- [SotA] Improved targeting logic for Demolishers.
- Added BASIC support for Southshore vs Tarren Mill BG. Blizzard have implemented phasing technology for this battleground which causes the bot to struggle with finding enemies. If the BG is going to stay after the 10 year anniversary, then I'll work on it further. For now it's very basic.
- Slowed down the open/close map logic.
- Added rest behaviour CR calls when outside of BGs.
- Changes to prevent stutter stepping when movement enabled.
- Added auto accept Ashran queue invite.
- Added option to use Battle Standards.
- Added debugging for SotA when trying to use portals when attacking.

.. Waiting for approval :)

I am thinking of buying this botbase and am just wondering if it has an option to buy honor gear built in? It isn't a huge deal if not but I am just curious :)

It doesn't, but there's plugins available to do it :)

Would it be possible to make it not try to cap the graveyards on AV? If all 4 npc's are up I'll walk right up to them and die in a fire.

Still an atrocity to use in AV.
It completely has 0 logic for NPCs. Hell it'll focus NPCs instead of players.

It just needs to know that no, it cannot take 4 NPCs at once and that NPCs aren't more important than players. I can tell it to ignore towers and blacklist any entrance to them, but it will still try to get to the NPCs at the top of horde towers, do one auto, then run off before repeating the whole process.

Also, not AV related, it stutters like a mad man when trying to get behind a player and attack them (when used with Vitalic CR, with all movements disabled in Vitalic CR, idk about other CRs).

Everything else seems to be fine. Maybe add a defense option to WSG flags? That's about it. AV and the stutter just needs to be fixed is all.

I'm using it with Vitalic as well and the only issues I've seen with movement is that it sometimes runs in circles trying to get behind something rather than use strafing. To me that's not as important as a toggle that would skip the graveyards though. Like you mentioned it does seem to go for npcs over players at times. That said I think this base is way better than the one that comes with hb, the pause / routine only features alone made it worth the dollars imo.

Experiencing some major stutter stepping as a Warrior using Tuanha's with movement, targeting and facing disabled in the CR.

Playing around with some settings and I'll report back.

It seems disabling movement in the bot and enabling it within the CR has helped alot. Playing around with the targeting and facing settings now.

can I set it so I can select my own mount instead of the default it keeps choosing.
