[PAID] BGFarmer - An Advanced Battleground Bot Base

Many of us are very interested in this but not willing to fork out the cash without being able to TRY it.

The default HB sucks horrid and we want to make sure this one does not. Give a 7 day trial and you will get more interest.

I think I've bot-ed 13/14 toons - including just this past week for WoD and for dangerous amounts of hours unattended. No bans. Highly recommend supporting Millz - his coding is top notch.

And I reckon he will have an update supporting the new BG in no time.

Agreed, this is honestly such a good buy, I've botted 1000+ battlegrounds since buying this with no ban. That includes two Arathi Basin exalted (pre-6.0 nerf) and soon a third, plus full honor sets on 6 chars.

Got another thing I hope you will look at.
Battleground Strand of the Ancients. At the start when defending the bot walks onto the beach.
But when crossing from blue to green or vice versa it walks through the water instead of walking on the beach.
I've tried to put a blackspot in the water with 20y range, but all it does is make the bot go further into the water instead of staying on the beach.

I've attached a log, but I don't know if it is useful.
Starts around: [10:43:59.209 D] [BGFarmer ~ Debug] Landmark state changed. Clearing POI and resetting logic. We are currently Defending,
ends at: [10:45:02.842 N] Stopping the bot!

Hey there. Downloaded trial of this yesterday to evaluate if it is worth buying. It feels that i'm doing something wrong at the moment. First of all, there are no good combat routines for retribution paladin atm. Tuanha's never uses hand of freedom or human racial to break out of control, singular have it's own issues. Using singular atm. Moving is handled by BGfarmer. Issues:
1. Targeting: chose healers only and set scan range to 70. It still attacks the nearest enemy.
2. Combat: char runs to the target, hits it once, runs through it for another 20 meters without doing anything, turns around and repeats this action, or looses target completely. Melee range set to 5 (changing values doesn't do anything at all).
3. Isle of conquest: it "defends" the docks for the whole game, even when it writes something like "moving to oil refinery", it still defends docks O_o.
4. Some random insane recalculations, causing it to change direction of moving like 10 times per second.
For the issues №2 i hope this is the log:

P.S. Also, for some reason when any fight starts, it drops my fps from steady 120+ to single digits. Tried both dx9 and 11, vsync on and off.

Another thing I've encountered a couple of times is the following.
Strand of the Ancients. When the first round is defense, when the second round (attacking) starts the bot starts walking forward into the wall of the boat. This looks really strange.
This doesn't happen when the first round is attacking. Then the bot just stands still on the ship.

You can trial it through the HB store. Option becomes available once you login.

Support BG Farmer the New Event BG?

The zone isn't meshed. Highvoltz is going to look into meshing it. Once it's done then I'll look into adding it to BGFarmer. Probably just be something super basic (like attack nearest enemy).

The only way you can get around that is by adding lots of blackspots until it goes the path you want it too. There's no method of telling HB's navigator to avoid water.

Hey

1. It will always attack someone, the healer thing is just a preference, so if you have 2 units, a healer and a dps, it'll go for the healer first.
2. Yeah I've just pushed a fix for this. Will be active once approved.
3. You can disable docks in the GUI if you like. It's just protecting the base from being captured.
4. This is fixed in the next build too.

FPS drops -> That's down to the combat routine.

Hello, I am not even sure that this is handled by the BGFarmer or is in the HB core, but is there a way to queue for BG's as a DPS while specced Prot warrior. Due to the lvl 100 talent Gladiator stance, it would be foolish to deprive your team of a tank by queuing as a tank in Gladiator stance, also could draw unwanted attention as a teams only tank would be a bot.

An option in the GUI or even letting the user select it in the wow gui and just using whatever was selected before. If this is not BGFarmer making the change from dps to tank while queuing please let me know so I can place a request in the proper location.

Hey Millz, thank for a great Botbase. I just purchased it based on reviews and running happily so far.

I did have one question though. Is there any way to make the pathing more unique? In several games tonight, there as another botter running 5x toon s( 3x hunters, priest, and warrior all Level 90). My toon was also a Level 90 and all the toons were running pretty much the same path. Made it pretty damn obvious.

I'd like to avoid similar situations in the future so any guidance would be appreciated.
 
Noticing that on a couple maps the bot has been running up against walls it can't scale. I saw this happening on EotS down in the middle of the map, as well as in Twin Peaks near graveyards. This happened right before I stopped the bot at this location: <Hotspot X="2174.785" Y="270.8076" Z="37.99518" /> on Twin Peaks. Not sure if this is a mesh, routine, or botbase issue. Just throwing out some info.

Not sure what has changed in the combat, but whenever I am taking a tower in AV, always falls off the ledge when attacking the bowman.
 
I have used the free trial tonight and must admit that I'm impressed! I have two small issues I'd like to mention:
1)When activating the "Use map" functionality, the bot goes a bit overboard with how often and for how long it watches it. Occasionally it doesn't put the map away, and rides off. Would it be possible to add frequency and duration to this? And only use it when "loitering," i.e standing around for at least 3 secs.
1)In Strand of the Ancients, when defending, the bot runs into the water instead of on top of the pier on the beach. Would it be possible to avoid this behaviour?
 
Boss fight at end of AV toon runs from side to side of the room right into walls. Looks like the log says its trying to LoS something. But in reality its just running into walls.

Needs far more importance to killing the ballista things always targets players and never the balista , thought this was being worked on ?

Hey - BGFarmer only selects either healer or DPS. If it's already set as tank then it just accepts it. It's when there's no role selected that BGFarmer chooses one. If you change it in game to DPS then BGFarmer will sign up as DPS.

To both of these questions -> Use the 'Navigation' tab in the GUI to blacklist areas/paths that you don't want to take. It'll change your pathing completely to avoid areas. To blacklist a path, the default radius of 2 is fine. To blacklist an area, you'll need to increase that.
