[PAID] BGFarmer - An Advanced Battleground Bot Base

I should have tried the trial before I purchased this. So far Its ok but not worth the price tag imo. Maybe it can be tweaked to be better, but I cant read half the options in the settings.

Also.. It tends to attack the same point over and over and gets into like 1v10 fights at the same point repeatedly. I dont have time to read through 40 pages of this thread. I want this to work and im sure its better than what ive experienced so far it just needs to be set up correctly.. but again its rather difficult to do that when you cant read most of the options.

Is it a feature or a bug: bot targets hunter's pets. I use it with a non-AFK routine (Vitalic) with targeting disabled.
And maybe targeting needs to be worked on, so it would be faster and maybe have more logic options.

I looks like you have turned up your DPI settings in windows? Maybe try and set them back to 100% and see if that helps.

Idea: make BG behaviour dependent on a class. So if, you are a rogue - stealth @ resource race BGs to cap flags from stealth, if you are Druid - run for a flag on capture a flag BGs.
If you can tank - tank, if you are dps stay away from crowd, etc...
It's a simple description, but somthing like that would make a lot of progress in winning BGs.

Hey Millz, would you consider making something for Ashran come WOD? I know it's not a BG technically, so just curious. No worries if not. But that would be amazing (and with Ashran's most likely popularity, might bring in some more business). Hoping to try to farm The Bloodthirsty on my monk after I finish Justicar, Ashran might be a good place. I just hit exalted with Arathi Basin on my second character, thanks to BGFarmer :).

The Arathi Basin profile is pretty much flawless, only one issue I've noticed is that sometimes when I have Random Strafing enabled and it goes to guard Lumber Mill, it'll accidentally jump off the cliff, leaving LM unguarded (though it runs back up immediately). It's pretty minor, so not even sure if it's worth fixing, but just letting you know. Other than that, it's brilliant, works SO WELL and human-like. Going to be spending a LOT of time in WSG now, so will report back if I find any issues. Thanks Millz!

I'll probably wait and see what Ashran is like - but I'm certainly not against the idea of adding it in. Falling off the top in LM isn't too much of a concern, people do it too. If anything it's more unlikely for a bot to fall of than not.

Millz is it possible to have the bot follow its target off of a ledge or cliff, but to know which cliff not to follow if its bottomless or will cause death? For ex.. in the Temple of Kotmogu if your target runs off the ledge into the pit then the bot follows it instead of running around to the stairs. It's pretty easy for me to tell who is botting because I would have 3 guys on me and if I jump off they run to the stairs to chase me. But on the flip side not to follow the target if it was somewhere like Eye of the Storm at the middle flag and your target was knocked off the cliff. This is just me asking a question and not criticizing. I am not a programmer and not sure if this is possible. I have bought all of your products and really enjoy your work.

Still haven't found a solution to jumping down into the middle in ToK. It's on my list of things to fix/improve though. It's a limitation of Honorbuddy's navigation system - but I have ideas of how to work around it.

also, i will randomly get deserter.... is there a setting i need to change for some wait period?

Need a log file for deserter - that shouldn't happen at all.

As halveismeg has said - looks like your DPI/accessibility options are enabled to increase font size above default. Try changing those to default/100% and see if it resolves your font issue. For attacking a node 1vs10 - I'd need a log file for this to see what happened.

It will target pets if it's the best option at the time (and varies depending on what class you're playing). As a melee, it will take a pet more often then what a caster will, as the pet will generally be a closer target. Targeting is traditionally handled by combat routines - BGFarmer just fills the gap. If I made targeting too aggressive, then it would start fighting with combat routines, and cause running back and forth behaviours.

Nice idea for something a bit further down the line, but would require full BG logic to be written for specific classes. Something I want to avoid at the moment due to the amount of time it would take. With WoD around the corner I need to balance time carefully to ensure there aren't delays at the expac.

22156 2014-09-22 22.46.txt - No deserter buff in here.

22644 2014-09-22 22.17.txt - No deserter buff in here.

22188 2014-09-22 19.53.txt - Deserter happened here. Looks like it wouldn't release from corpse. The bot kept attempting but it didn't happen - likely a wowclient issue.

21776 2014-09-22 22.15.txt - Deserter was already active here before the bot was started, so it detected the buff and logged out. Need to wait for the buff to go before clicking start if you've got logout on deserter active.

Hey man, loving the botbase, It works the best with pure rotation style pvp cr's like gladiator suite in my experience.
Some tips for USERS to get more human like behavior:
-Let BGFarmer handle all movement and targetting.
-Turn off the emotes, for god sake, half of the battleground is spamming emotes, it is really obvious.
-If you're playing a melee class, turn on "Strafe to move behind target", turn off "Turn on the spot" and enable "Random Strafing" This seems to hit a sweet spot where you move VERY human-like while in combat.
-When you first start BGFarmer, don't forget to load the blackspot file, Click "Import From File" and select the one file available

Some suggestions for MILLZ
-Pet targeting seems to be a tad too agressive at the moment, I often see my char wailing away on a hunter pet while the hunter is rather close. As I understand it these get a higher prio because they are closer, but most melee classes have a wide range of gap closers.
-Randomize the names of the defense points for incoming calls. For example: Farm|farm|frm or Water Works, ww, water. Real people generally don't take the time to write the exact name.
-I know this is mosly a cr thing but including use of pvp trinkets when cc'ed would be a cool option.
-There are still some issues with the gates in SotA but i'm sure you're aware of this.

This did not work.. It just made everything smaller but still cut off and jumbled up

Hi Millz! Thank your for creating a BG Botbase, as we all know the one that comes with HB sucks for months or years.

I just tried out your trial version and had some little issues. At Temple of Katmogu my toon (melee) runs to the middle where the big fight is. Around 5 enemy players run arround me and battle and my toon (not yet in fight) goes out of stealth, mounts up, rides a vew steps forward, dismounts, mounts up again, goes opposite direction and so on.

When he is ini Combat, he often just runs around, like if he couldn`t decide which enemy to attack. Or if there is only a single enemy he runs towords him, and just at the moment where it should attack, he turns around, walks away, turns around again, attacks, walks away.... This doesn`t happen all the time, but extremely often which makes it look very botlike.

I was using TuanHa routines at first with targeting and movement disabled, then I switched over to singular and It wasn`t much better. I used the melee settings in your botbase.

Andy Ideas? I can post a log later If necessary, its on my other computer. I really first want to get all this figured out before buying something :-D

Yo milz, really enjoy the BG botbase been working fantastic for me. Just one question,
How do i go about changing the mount that my character uses?

You can change that in the global HB settings. Not in the settings of the Botbase.

Hey

I'll reduce the volume of emoting that's done to help alleviate that issue. I'll improve the targeting to switch away from pets, and reduce the chance of selecting a pet in the first place.

Changing the names of bases for incoming will be (hopefully) in the next version.

Trinket usage would be better in a CR - I might add it in though.

SotA - Log files always help for this one, but yeah - aware of it.

How do I download once I have purchased?

Hey

Products purchased via the Buddy Store automatically load when you start Honorbuddy. The purchases are attached to your buddyauth account (and your Honorbuddy key) - so it does not require any login info.

Cheers

What's your screen/monitor resolution set to?

Millz, out of curriosity, does grouping work cross realm?

Hmm it should do. Might need to include the server name in the leader name box - like 'BadWarrior-Silvermoon' etc.

Hey - For the indecisiveness, I'd need a log file with details as to where this happened in the log (preferably by stopping the bot after it happens). That way I can see what it was trying to do when the issue occured.

In combat movement stuff, I'll need a log file for that too.

Cheers
