[PAID] BGFarmer - An Advanced Battleground Bot Base

I will try it again, my trail still runs today and I will create a fresh log. I just checked the old logs and I think I found the reason that caused the bot to mount all the time.

As soon as it detects a free orb, it mounts up and tries to get it. Stealth classes can cause that, because they might be walking towards an enemy to attack it (But still aren`t in combat) and just before they reached the enemy and a free orb get avalible, they mount up and get out of stealth to get the orb. Of course they will be mowed down immediately if 5 enemys are standing around, especially in a small map like in the middle of the temple.


Another thing i noticed is the pull logic. The Bot attacks enemys, eaven if he is alone by himself and there is a group of 5 enemys. No human player with just a little bit of skill would charge into a huge enemy group without any players from the same fraction close by.
 
Hey Millz, I recently purchased BGFarmer and i was pleasantly surprised. I did a lot of research before i paid for your program. I never used the original Honorbuddy bot for pvp as it amounted to account suicide. I highly recommend this for discerning botters. Thanks Millz for making something i can pvp bot with and at a very reasonable price. If your expecting a bot that never makes any mistakes and plays exactly like a highly skilled human player - it doesn't exist. If you want an excellent bg bot that performs well within the limitations of a bot then buy Millz's BGFarmer. Regards,

Hey - Once you've got a target and are attempting to engage in combat, it shouldn't run back to grab an orb. I'll double check this code.

It'll attack any enemies when they get within your targeting range (60yds is default). It doesn't check how the ratio of ally/horde once within that range, it just presumes it needs to attack. For instance, you'd attack a flag carrier regardless of how many enemies there are, to try to slow them down. It will check the ratio of ally/horde when attacking bases though, to see what the likely hood is of overthrowing them is.

I just wanted to create a fresh log with the issue and my trial period expired. So I bought it, startet the BG and the problem with the closed gate was solved.

Something I noticed is that the bot will not stand from eating/drinking until the eat/drink buff is ended (20s) instead of when my HP/mana is 100%.

Other than that it is working very nicely :) although I wish I could find a way to have *some* sort of jumping behaviour on that is AFKable ;) I have fiddled with mixtures of only in combat, only when moving, and so forth, but I think in the end the only way to make jumping safe is to have hotspots of open areas where jumping is allowed, and tighter corners with lots of "stuck" spaces as no jumping.

As halveismeg has said - looks like your DPI/accessibility options are enabled to increase font size above default. Try changing those to default/100% and see if it resolves your font issue. For attacking a node 1vs10 - I'd need a log file for this to see what happened.

This did not work.. It just made everything smaller but still cut off and jumbled up

I tried changing the res also.. it just made everything bigger but still cut off.. could you possibly just post pics of the menus?

Cool. It's an intermittent issue. I'm pushing a change in the next build to re-check the gate statuses faster.

Have you got a log file for the eating issue? It's got checks in the code already to allow moving on once your HP is back above 90%, so that shouldn't be happening.

The jumping behaviour is afkable. There's a significant number of checks to ensure that it can do it (i.e. you'll notice it never jumps inside the towers in AV). If there's some specific areas where you've noticed issues then let me know and I'll blacklist them.

Can you tell that other people are using this when in the same BG like you can with BGbot when they all run the same way and do the same thing.

Yes and no. There are some paths where it'll take the same as BGBuddy, but there's functionality within BGFarmer to allow manually blacklisting paths to prevent your character taking that path again. It comes with a bunch of blacklisted paths already, so it doesn't follow the good old bot train.

You can trial it out and see how it works via the buddy store.

Just testing out this 1 day free trial, and having an issue that I am not sure how to fix. I am using the botbase with TuanHa's hunter paid edition cc (with movement turned off in the cc and movement turned on in the botbase), seems to be working fine (doing what the logs say its doing), however often the hunter will just go into camouflage and not do anything (outside of the strafing and random moving). Will not attack nearby enemy players. Is there a way to turn this camouflage off? Is it because I am poorly geared (just started PVP on this toon)?
 
Is it possible to add a healer prefix and have the healer not guarding every base alone? He spends minutes doing nothing and all of a sudden decides to run away when there is actually inc. When doing bg weekends it looks very bottish as a lot of times, the same people end up in the same battleground. I know we should cover bases in bg's, but when there is only 2 healers in the team, the healer covering the base is more useful elsewhere.

I appreciate the purpose of it, but with the current "everyone run to halfway boss, then everyone run to final boss" tactic, getting caught up in the towers lowers honor gain (because you're not around the "zerg").

That, and at the tower next to IBG, it sits next to the flag for a second, runs down the ramp, runs back up, sits next to flag, runs down, runs up, repeat ad nauseum until its captured. Attached is a log (its big). It does a lot of "[BGFarmer] Facing Best Point of Interest:" "Changed POI to: Type: Hotspot, Loc: " over and over, which is what appears to be causing this.

Can you also make it ignore aggressive npcs lower than level 85 (in the level 90 AV)? I find it tends to get a little hung up on the frostwolves it runs by.

Will change healers to stop that defending behaviour. That will shift their focus to defending friendly bases which are under attack.

Yeah I can add that in. May just add toggles in to not defend the middle 4 towers, so that it still defends the ones in the end bases.

Moving up and down the tower is fixed in the next build - it'll just stand in the top of the tower like it should.

The frostwolf thing I'll need to look into. That's a little more complex because of how the targeting/combat stuff works.
