Horde sticks at green gate

Millz,

For Horde side on Strand of the Ancients, bot runs to green gate sometimes and gets stuck there before game starts. I either have to move the bot myself or wait until the game starts then it actually moves out onto beach.

Confirmed still doing this , also runs inside boat on starting gets hung up downstairs

Hey Millz i already migrated my account and today my bot stopped and says Failed authentication svn has been disabled please migrate your account to the store,but i already did that and when i try to do it again it gives me an error.It was working fine till today all of the sudden i get the error.When i go to the store it says its already purchased.

Sounds like you're using the SVN version, not the store one. Can you try a fresh HB install please?

My HB came up with the same error even though I had 'claimed' via buddystore. It was going to take ages to do a fresh install as got lots of plugins (loads) and routines so would prefer not to, so I tried deleting the svn folder from my Bot and it works fine

Noticed when in a group (of two - join as Group) in Strand of Ancients, my toons will try to get to one another if put on different boats at the start of the attack phase. Meant I had two bots running into the side of their respective boats looking rather bottish. Disabled Strand of Ancients for now as noticed my toons running into the gates on a few occasions when they hadn't been blown up yet. Will see if I can look out a log file but had lots of relogs / restarts and can't work out which is the relevant one.

Excellent Botbase though! Love it. Keep up the great work. Use Demonic and Portal too which put out top dps numbers.

Thanks, will fix the boat thing. I've made some more changes to the gate stuff. Hopefully it'll resolve that issue to in the next build.

Running into objects on AV such as mountains

Hey Millz,

I've been using the paid version of BGFarmer now for a few weeks, great stuff! I recently started using a druid in bg's and after the first day I noticed I didn't have the BGFarmer options to control movement enabled so I enabled them. The first game after doing so my toon was in AV and I noticed pretty quickly an issue with the bot running into objects and sitting there trying to run through them. For example, after the group killed the boss in Iceblood Garrison my druid ran straight at the wall to go out instead of going around that wall. I am going to try disabling movement control in BGFarmer and see if it goes away. I'm using the Tree Heals go Woosh paid combat routine for a resto druid. Log attached.

Really not sure what's happened there, log doesn't seem to show a great deal. See if it happens again - may have been a one off. Did it get out of the room after the initial wall face plant ?

Yes, after about roughly 7-8 seconds of running into the wall it backed up and went around. A few minutes later when I caught it running into the mountain it has been doing so for about 20-30 seconds at which point I stopped HB and exited WoW. Is it possible that it is happening because it is trying to follow a friendly unit to keep heals on it? I'll experiment some more and let you know what I find. I just started it up again with movement control disabled in BGFarmer as a test.

A few minutes later when I caught it running into the mountain it has been doing so for about 20-30 seconds at which point I stopped HB and exited WoW. Well, I saw it happen again with "Control Movement" disabled in the BG Farmer menu so I'm not sure if it is the movement portion causing it. Also I noticed something unrelated while monitoring this problem. On the the BG map with the orbs you have to take to the middle, my druid toon would pick up the orbs, and rather than head straight into the pit area, it would sit there healing friendly players on the steps instead of making it a priority to get into the pit area. I think if the toon is going to pick up orbs, the main thing it should do above all else is run to the pit first. Thoughts?

Hey Millz, i love the chat option to tell the incomings in chat.. It would be much better if the bot says : ST instead of stables, LM instead of Lumber Mill, BS instead of Blacksmith etc etc. Would be much much better, because no1 ever uses the full name of the base he/she is defending.

This might have already been mentioned, didn't read through the entire thread, but could i be so bold as to suggest turning off the random emotes by default? I know it's because I run the bot sometimes, but "when <Player X> lets out a hacking cough at the very start of a BG it's kinda random, not what a real player would do, if not, maybe give some control over what emotes are used and when. E.g. Say goodbye when your opponent is at 5%. etc.

That's up to you. You don't want to have the exact same messages as others. Don't explicitly write the bases names though, the bot will do that when you enter %base%.

If you're standing at Farm in AB, and your incoming message says: Incoming %base%!

...then the bot will say.. Incoming Farm!

You can report incoming numbers using %enemies%... Incoming %base% - %enemies%!

..will say: Incoming Farm - 3!

I'll fix that emote right at the start of the BG. I noticed that too. There'll be a random delay before it'll do it in the next update. This won't be as noticeable then.

I'll add this option in, to have custom replacements. It uses the base names at the moment which are localized to different languages, because shouting "传入 LM!" or "传入 Lumber Mill!" would be a bit obvious

Have you tried using a different CR? Like singular for instance.

Temple of Kotmogu -> It will run the bot logic until you get into combat, after that it's all on the combat routine. BGFarmer will walk you as close to the middle as it can until you get into combat.

Currently watching the toon running into the same mountain on AV after leaving the 2nd horde tower (forget the name). This time I decided to see how long it would do so. It did this for roughly 3 minutes at which point the Alliance won the game. I haven't seen this happen every game. One common variable I think I have noticed is that the times I have seen this happen I was using the "Tree Heals go Woosh" combat routine for the druid. I don't think I have seen the toon get stuck running into that mountain while using Singular but I'll have to do some more testing to know for sure. Well, I have narrowed down the toon running into the mountain issue after leaving Tower Point to only happening while using the "Tree Heals go Woosh" paid combat routine. It happens almost every game if not every game. It never happens when using Singular. Should I take this to the author of that combat routine?
