[Beta] MapBot

Does the currency have to be in the same stash as the map in order for it to upgrade?

DOesn't seem to be upgrading when I dont have them in teh same tab.

Would it help if some of us donated now while it's actively being worked on? Would that get us a better add on? I would be willing to paypal something.

AdvancedItemFilter problem

Bot is not making my Recipe selling from AdvancedItemFilter :(

When i was using another map plugin it was ok. but now it's not.

He is just picking up yellows and stashing in specified tab. thats all.. after couple minutes stash is full bot stops.

any suggestions ?

It looks like bot is not using advitemfilter even if it is enabled.

@OK I FOUND THAT NOW (NOT LIKE BEFORE IN OTHER MAP PLUGIN) U HAVE TO ADD SPECIFIED NAME STASHES TO COLLECT YELLOWS FOR SALE "RECIPE STASH" AND SAME ADD THAT NAME IN COMUNITYLIB. AND IT WILL WORK FINE ;L]

Can anyone comment on how this is working so far compared to MapBuddy? I've been waiting until this settles down in changes before switching over.

I personally think this is best map running plugin out of the 3 available.

Current downsides:

-Losing high tier maps (running them as magic because lack of scouring) sucks.
-Opening lots of chests does slow the runs down a bit (avoid Armoury).
-No Shaped Maps support. It runs them, but you may end up chisel'ing / alching low tier non shaped maps.
-Stashes all portal / wisdom scrolls. Not a MapBot issue and toNyx has a test version of AIF on discord that seems to fix this issue.

It does complete nearly every map, something i couldnt get MapBuddy to do since Atlas released. (MapBuddy would leave far too many bosses alive).

Crafting maps works fine. Stashing works fine.

For an initial beta release, it works pretty damned good.

Best map runner thus far. Like unknown buddy mentions the only downside is it opens all chests which ExVault mentioned he would fix in the next release. All in all it's very refined for a "Beta"

So currently it does not grab a stack of each of the scrolls before starting the map? I guess I should get on discord and get that version of AIF :D

biggest downside:
out of alc > running white > drop alcs > not switching back to alcs

This is definitely a bug. Its not only alchs, but any currency type that you run out of and later add doesnt get counted until you shut the bot off completely.

This bug also affects things like stash space left. If you run out of stash space to store items the bot stops. If you then clear out your storage and start the bot back up again, as soon as you go to throw something into your stash the bot will again stop thinking it has no storage space available.

Again, closing Exilebuddy and relaunching will fix it, but still an annoying bug. Beta is beta tho.

it's no bug. it's the lack of the according logic. that was always the big difference in maprunner and mapbuddy. pretty much one of buddys best features.

if I understand things right (might not, since I'm no coder) that's what comlib is for. All the "real time" caching.
I generally have a little hardtime to understand why we have extensions and comlib instead of a mutual project.

Any chance someone can post the version of AIF that would allow the bot to pick up one stack of each scrolls?

If you read tutorial carefully, you might noticed its not stated anywhere that bot will resume using previously unavailable currency right after you got at least one. Its stated "once there is enough". And this "enough" is a variable for each currency type, for instance for alchemy its 5, for chisels its 20.
Please remember that MapBot is a bot base, it was build to suit the needs of many people, not just you. There might be users that specified 1-10 tabs for currency, and it would be very frustrating for them to watch the bot iterate 10 tabs over and over after every 1 alch is found-spent.
For the same reason bot bases are now open source. If you don't like something - you can edit it according to your own needs (in this case TakeMaptask.cs the bottom of the file).

Same goes for full stash tab scan. It was intentionally made to be run once per bot session. Imagine a user with 10 full tabs and bot that scans them every town-run (or every X minutes if you want) only to find out they are still full.

If this is how its suppose to work, then i still say its bugged. Once i noticed i had run out of alchs, i bought ~800 or so and put them into my currency tab. MapBot never recognized the new alchs, even after starting / stopping the bot several times. It wasnt until i closed the bot completely and started a new session that MapBot started using alchs again.

When i run out again, i will remember to log it.

This part seems very illogical to me. I fully understand there is no need to scan every tab after every town run, but if MapBot is terminating itself because stash tabs are full, why would MapBot not scan again when you restart the bot to check if stash space was made? Why must we kill the entire Exilebuddy process to begin mapping again?
