All good for now. We need Shaped Maps support in the next release though.
Would it help if some of us donated now while it's actively being worked on? Would that get us a better add on? I would be willing to paypal something.
Can anyone comment on how this is working so far compared to MapBuddy? I've been waiting until this settles down in changes before switching over.
I personally think this is best map running plugin out of the 3 available.
Current downsides:
-Losing high tier maps (running them as magic because lack of scouring) sucks.
-Opening lots of chests does slow the runs down a bit (avoid Armoury).
-No Shaped Maps support. It runs them, but you may end up chisel'ing / alching low tier non shaped maps.
-Stashes all portal / wisdom scrolls. Not a MapBot issue and toNyx has a test version of AIF on discord that seems to fix this issue.
It does complete nearly every map, something i couldnt get MapBuddy to do since Atlas released. (MapBuddy would leave far too many bosses alive).
Crafting maps works fine. Stashing works fine.
For an initial beta release, it works pretty damned good.
Agreed.biggest downside:
out of alc > running white > drop alcs > not switching back to alcs
biggest downside:
out of alc > running white > drop alcs > not switching back to alcs
This is definitely a bug. Its not only alchs, but any currency type that you run out of and later add doesnt get counted until you shut the bot off completely.
This bug also affects things like stash space left. If you run out of stash space to store items the bot stops. If you then clear out your storage and start the bot back up again, as soon as you go to throw something into your stash the bot will again stop thinking it has no storage space available.
Again, closing Exilebuddy and relaunching will fix it, but still an annoying bug. Beta is beta tho.
If you read tutorial carefully, you might noticed its not stated anywhere that bot will resume using previously unavailable currency right after you got at least one. Its stated "once there is enough". And this "enough" is a variable for each currency type, for instance for alchemy its 5, for chisels its 20.
Same goes for full stash tab scan. It was intentionally made to be run once per bot session. Imagine a user with 10 full tabs and bot that scans them every town-run (or every X minutes if you want) only to find out they are still full.
