I was actually waiting for the novemeber ban wave to hit to buy legion. Then ill bot again and quit around april/may for the next ban wave
 
So, guys, i saw the new announcement from yesterday, and a new built released today... Does this mean it is now safer to bot?

it's never safe...you could be banned in the next 2 weeks like last time or few days or 6 months, who knows, even bossland doesn't know if their bot is detected or not after the update, likely not tho, but no one stopping you if you wanna try

No one will ever know. I am currently about to bot a battle chest account to test the waters that way i don't loose as much money... Im for real Skeptical -- Not that HB staff isn't doing their jobs. BC obviously they are. Just that blizzard is really *****ing down right now. Might start a thread to show my progress and ban status

it censored out the word c.r.ac_k lol? but yeah
 
Are we still instantly detected or for exemple i can launch it for the night for leveling my alt 100-110?

Pretty much 100% likely you will be flagged and banned again at some point, after each banwave bliz have reliably caught HB users again. IMO there is nothing at all to say it wasnt detected the entire time and bliz are just toying with people, letting them level and waste time only to smackdown on them again to demoralise people they see as cheaters.


I'm not 100% they care about the cheating considering its always shortly before they put a sale on for wow accounts, its more like just trying to get people to rebuy again.


Its frustrating for me. I had some issues with illness and cant really keep up the hours of play required for WQ/AP grind. I leveled myself and played all the content at least a few times because it was fun, but its a struggle to put in the hours for all that AND be able to raid. So I had the bot doing some WQs for me so that I could spend the little time I can play doing stuff I enjoy like raiding.


I pay bliz to be entertained, not to tell me how I should be entertained. I'll have fun with WQs when they are fun but forcing me into repetitive grind so that I can play PvE is not entertaining to me. I didn't bot herbs or have it running inhuman levels of dungeon grind to gain an unfair advantage. I just used it to keep up so I could raid.

sadly .. they dont give a shit about customers. Ban 100k users, that's $2M a month, who cares when they make billions?
The customer is being abused, and no one cares.
If I make an excel macro at work that does 90% of my work for me, I would get promoted, not fired! Now when I get my shit grind automated in game, I get banned!
Common sense is so fuckin rare.
Having said that .. No one is too big to fail.
 
The real issue here is not botting, or automating work to gain "unfair advantage" .. fuck that hypocritical bullshit. It's an attainable product .. go buy it if you want to gain the same advantage. Cant afford it? Then fuck you, grind you ass out (where is the entertainment in that?). That's not my problem. I have a life to attend to.
The real issue here that this is an act of war against honor buddy .. cause of the law suit. They couldn't win in a court of law ... so they enforce their own law in their own environment.
If they were smart .. they would have bought honor buddy (the company) and offered it as a service .. not ban its users. They are just arrogant assholes, blind by their power and money.

The real issue here is that it's their game, and they don't want automated programs to be used with it, and that's their right to say so. If you don't like it, that's your problem, since you know, it's not your game and you have no rights to it, nor rights to determine how it should be played. If you go against their rules, and they catch you and ban you, that's your problem again. Your choices cost you money, and it benefits them, that's again, your problem and their profit.

Of course it would be more of an argument if the game didn't involve other people, other people who care to play the game as it was designed to be played. But since it does, by us investing in an automated program to play the game for us, we are knowingly cheating for the fun of it, the thrill of it, and the risk of it. When you agree to something in order to play (Terms of Service) you agree to get banned if you get caught cheating. If you can't handle that, then don't do it. Or get caught and have a temper tantrum.... up to you.

When I bot, I know the risks and I accept the consequences if I get caught, like an adult. If you want to talk 'hypocritical bullshit', lets talk about knowing the risks, then having a stage 5 meltdown when the risks become reality. For real.

Hi

I got 2 accounts on my main battle.net. One got banned for 1.5 years in middle of Nov. I made a new account and started up with GB 2 18th of now. This new account i ran almost 24/7 100-110 with kicks then GB 2 until 22th of nov and also this account got banned. Luckelly ive got one of my main accounts left but we all knows that its a risk to bot though, botting has become a part of playing wow, atleast for me. Without botting im not that intrested of playing wow tbh. I hope we will get a solution on this mathers so we all can continue with our bots in peace but we should always bring with us that its a big risk that we all take especially if we are botting on main accs.

I totally understand you, I only bot for combat routines in raids, because i'm not really good and also because mashing buttons for 3/4 minutes in a fight it's fucking annoyng (and sometimes painfull) whitout HB i would probably not raid anymore.
