I would pay to get faster, and better setups for questing in general. I know it's hard since there are 2 factions but I remember there was a long wait for Horde to get the questing profiles because the person making them (Kick?) was mainly Alliance. Would be nice to have 2 people, one for each faction, working on getting this up and running then making sore the world quests get done in Legion. Not to mention profession quest and what not. Seems like there is going to be a lot to do in this area come next expansion.

I wouldn't mind paying a little bit more each expansion to help cover the cost of producing additional content a little bit faster. Not to mention some of the pathing issues when flying. Drop down somewhere, get on a ground mount, run in circles to try to get up where it failed to land the first time.

Everyone is missing the point. The masses who use Honorbuddy are gold sellers. "Why fix something that is not broken" would be the correct response from Bossland. Casual users are the minority.

If Honorbuddy goes to a sub based pay structured, then it will mean that the casual player will then be the majority for users and Honorbuddy will lose out on money. At the end of the day, money talks and gold sellers are the majority.

Any thread that ask for a better honorbuddy has been plague with developers saying that it is not needed as gold farmers don't ever look at their bot, they are AFK 70% or more of the game as it is farming. Why make honorbuddy take up less resources and run smoother when your not even looking at the screen to begin with.

I would say start a petition to see who else is willing to pay for a faster honorbuddy and get a million people to sign it and maybe Bossland will look at it.

You didn't read everything.

There isn't just pay once or a sub model.

Where is the problem offering a base product with standard capability for a one time payment and a premium version that has a monthly fee?
Any single person can decide on his own whether he wants/needs the standard or premium version. Everyone is covered.

Standard is what we have right now so nobody is pissed and premium members get features that are not included within the standard version. (questing, prof. profiles, profiles for achievements,....whatever)

You already see that people are willing to pay for extra functions with a price (several crs,botbases,..) several times higher than the initial bot itself -> buddystore. So they'd also be willing to pay for a premium version. A huge amount of people ask and request certain profiles over and over again.

With a premium model those people could be covered.

If you guys are so pro subscription.. go move to a 1monthly key..

I like the store based money stream for bossland.. it keeps the money flowing.. and it keeps devs pushing there work...

we would not have amazing devs such as Alisha if it was not for the buddystore.. nor would devs keep supporting there work with out it..

You do understand the money "us" gold sellers bring to this bot right ??? if it was not for "us" "gold scum sellers" your bot would end up like the POE bot... closed down..

There are plenty of people, in fact probably more then people like your self that think PVP botting is doing more harm to this bot then the gold sellers....

How can you compare WoW to PoE? Statistically you can't apply the same logic to an MMO as successful as WoW. Metrics are in the millions not thousands. You aren't buying an more licenses than someone else per account. You also aren't buying things from the buddy store for your farm accounts.

You say huge amount of people, but there isn't as much as you think. Get a petition going and get a few 100k signatures so bossland will do something about it. Unless there is money to be made and in large amounts...they will not bother.

As much as I love you and you're development team (Shoutout to Alisha); Alisha and you will all stay. This can only come across as me being a toss, but you aren't going to give up on the product because you can't lose 60% to HB and list on the HB store. Sell independently, HB will more than likely negotiate to integrate the store into a sub bot as so people like you aren't just forgotten, etc. I personally would prefer a setup wherein we pay a sub, receive a higher quality of bot, as well as we still have the buddystore but on much better terms for the developers (HB takes 5-10% above a certain threshold instead of 60% flat).

As well; botters who actually bot a "commercial scale" don't pay for additional keys btw. Gold sellers aren't the ones driving this bot; its the common user botting da bgs for some honor gear. Don't be misconstrued; there might seem like there are a lot of "gold farmers" who are doing it on a commercial scale; but 99.99% of them have never run more than even 50 bots at once making an amount which is even considered a reasonable or scalable return on investment (monetary and time).

This is exactly what I was driving at. Example: I was once farming gold on a small scale. I have seven sessions (serious and organized gold farmers have MANY more). I don't pay a single dollar extra and can use everything from the buddy store on every session. So HB made money off all seven session purchases, the store does not.

Now the point Nightcrawler made that i was talking too, is that gold farmers aren't buying much if anything from the store additionally. Some may buy an endless gold farm or something, but that would be a one time thing regardless. They aren't investing heavily in additional stuff from the store as they don't need it to straight farm gold in a suicide manner.

Sure there have been little ins and outs that netted tons of gold over the years, but those tend to be time and attention intensive and for the most part dungeon diving has been the most consistent in many ways. I just don't see how the avg gold farmer is supporting HB in the long run aside from a small % of these guys having been relatively active in the community and providing CRs/Profiles/Addons for people long before the buddy store was in existence.

Just my opinion. To each his own and sorry if this is hijacking the thread. I don't see why they would redesign HB, because it wont be similar enough that we are happy with the feel of it. Everyone moves on to try another game or MMO, but comes back to WoW because of the look and feel. They like the way the interface reacts and moves. People enjoy the overall feel of your character interacting in the world. Sure sometimes its annoying and laggy, but overall when compared to many other games we tried and disliked it is the baseline for our comfort and pleasure. So when enough "little" things about another game bother us, back we come.

Same with HB in my opinion.
