I replaced item valuation file with duck one. I edited darkfriend rare.dis file and remove everything inside. Then I set the trinity stash requirement to 26k each. Did a test using townrun. Good items were stashed. Bad items thrashed. And the score are duck scores.


look like it's working for me too! In trinity settings I should have, "file based script rules" option selected yes?

mmm i downloaded file based rules, and duck's rules. Edited rare.dis (cleaned all its content), edited legendary.dis (uncommented [QUALITY] == "Legendary" -> [SCORE] ), choosed "file based rules" on trinity. tried to test my backpack and it works for rares (uses duck's amazing rules), but for legendaries it says: "= (autokeep legendaries)" and it doesnt sell/salvage them! :(
 
you need to use FILE BASED SCRIPT for the legend to work.

you mixed the rares and legs up i guess or?

so i think the .dis .cs file or what files do you have atm? ;)

First of all. Jus install the latest trinity.

in the Trinity plugin, replace itemvaluation.cs with duck's itemvaluation. This will ensure all rares can be scored according to how duck priorities the rare.

Then go to itemrules folder in gilesplugin. you will find rare.dis. edit this file and remove everything inside. save it.

under settings you will still run FILE BASED SCRIPT under items.

then make sure you edited ur scores for stashing to be 24k each(im running at 26k)

thats all
 
ah i see, i thought you mixed the duck files with some other loot rules :)

well i downloaded the version from duck, where the Giles CE Edition is in, so i think i already got everything or not? :)

Mmm, now my champs still stashing bad legendaries (someone sold) but it's ok with rare amulets and rings, how can i increase legendaries scores without touch rares' ones??
 
legendary do not go according to scores. its per item basis. for example..

this means for any sever found.

it needs to have 1000 dps with socket OR critdmg more than 70%
or 1100 dps without any socket or anything.

u just have to edit the legendary file. to custom tailor to your own needs. mine is quite edited. and im quite lazy. i only edit the items when it stash the lousy 1.

for example i see my bot stashing a useless ageless might.

i will go to the ageless might and edit the stats according to what i feel is good. so that the next time i find an ageless might.. it will be within what i want.

btw vigilance and some other legendaries are bugged. will be stashed no matter what.

Would it be possible to merge both ItemRules and DuckRules together for rares ?
What I mean by that is making some sort of variable in ItemRules so that if an item matches the DuckRules check, the item would be forced as KEEP in rare.dis even if it doesn't match the rest of ItemRules ?
 
Yup. If the item rules force a keep. It will not even send to trinity for evluation. But trust me. You wont really need to do that
 
I've just tried testing your solution for rares with duck's rules and legen wait for its with itemrules, will let you know how it works out after a few runs.

I am but still want to do some tweaks to specific thing to reduce rare rubbish more

thanks for the tip it seems to be working great. Iif you also open up pickup.dis and delete everything in it and save it again it will follow whatever you pick in the standard trinity config.
