Nilems settings are for demo so you dont need to use them.........i suspect your problem is uou havent loaded the default aura list.

Its in the advanced tab. Click load and you should see the file you need to load.........if you have done that .......

then only other thing i can think of is you Need to have frame rate enabled or dps is terrible.

Other then that post a log........only way we can help.
 
I think this routine is trying to get me to learn my Warlock better. haha!

Running dungeons gearing up on a new Warlock with Demonic Premium, and all of a sudden, start running an instance, and it's no long casting Cataclysm. Weird! So I set the hotkey and start using it manually like I would have to in a raid instance anyway. Perfect learning experience! Thanks Demonic!

Please don't tell me you used SimCraft to get your PatchWerk DPS. Demonic is the best Lock routine out there, pulling at most 1-2k behind good players.

First you have to understand that not all gear is created equal. With that being said next thing is that simcraft sims you in a standing still rofldpstarget mode, and that kind of encounter doesn't exist in whole WoD. Not even Gruul.
Did you setup Aura list? did you setup demonology tab? trinket usage? darksoul usage? spec? glyphs? pet? and most of all do you plan your positioning on encounters and use your hotkeys to save up on CW's and or CD's when you have incomming AoE phase or DS + procs up?

There are so many things to do before saying routine sucks. You might wanna read more on this forum and understand your class a bit more to know what to expect and how to adjust it for your gear level. It's not the same for 650 and 700 ilevel because your demonic fury generation on 650ilevel is crap and on 700 ilevel we are generating it very rapidly because of haste, also having 4pc T17 changes things. Profiles I post are raiding profiles since all I do is raid and I raid mythic (you have non mythic profiles also) but all my profiles assume that you have 4pc T17.
 
i am using the free version so i dont have an advanced tab... and i get that simcraft does a standing fight i subtract dps to account for other stuff plus i dps a target dummy and still get off results. and another thing im noticing is that i have it set to cast metamorph with 1000 and drain to 0 but it casts at 600 and uses no demonbolts Sept for rarely

Hi Millz. been using premium Lock and Mage routines for a while now but lately i'm getting more concerned about my dps using this routine.. I am currently 680 ilvl and lets use blast furnace Hc as an example. I am only pulling 30k dps as demo. lower geared locks are pulling almost double that at the start and they only drop to about 45k dps. Is there a problem with the routine. surely it should be closer to those players if not beating them. the worst fight is Kromog Hc tbh. other locks are bursting 90k..this routine struggles to hit 68k. at fights end they are doing around 40k while i am under 30k. Please Help

Hotkeys are your friend... on Kromog for example save hog charges and pop meta,ds & then 3x cw's and your burst will fly up - add cata into that and you'll be well up there

This may be obvious to anyone actually raiding, but small little tips like this for hotkey setups on a boss are extremely valueable. Thank you for posting. +rep
 
Hey Millz or Nilrem any chance of taking a look at affliction and updating it for current raiding since its pretty close on single target and seems to be getting buffed for 6.2?
 
There is a problem which has been going on for couple months and hasnt been fixed at all is the spell cataclysm, says its set for 4 but it does it with just one mob/boss is there a fix to this?

Post a log......if i was to guess you have it set on boss or player

Affliction is updated for current content. Only thing that we will need to do is adjust it for T18 set bonuses and Archimonde trinket, and since that isn't 100% to be like it is now we will w8 till it's confirmed.

p.s. I'm affliction/GoSac on mythic maidens for soaking blood thingy and it works great considering I have to move all the time.

do you have a check to cast it on boss or player? because if you do it will cast it on boss or player every time regardless of mobs. so uncheck all except "On units in range". And try using a hotkey to cast it manually you will be better off with that since you can precast it properly on incoming mobs.
 
Today furnace hero 36k dps. Much runing, only t2 bonus (wtf got out of my bonusroll hero warforged + gem = t4 bonus now.. Yaaaay).

Thank you nil for the great time. I just will play my shaman heal now because we need an heal and our lock gets nerfed soon.. Again...
 
any opitaml settings to share for Demology please ? i am ay lvl +680 and the dps is like low compared to others locks ! auras list are active

Hey there Millz I'm having some issues with the affliction profile in pvp, it seems to only cast corruption and then fear with some other fillers with out casting agony or unstable affliction. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ok after looking at this myself it does cast them, but not as often as I'd like or as soon. Is there a way to fix that? I'd like to maximize dps or dots as much as possible.

And btw thank you to all who posted their dps capabilities, this is by far the best Lock profile on here and prolly one of the best dps profiles on HB atm.
