keep spaming and only dots things up with corruption and pet attack shadow furry on cd thats all that spell doesnt' seem to exist

First off, I love the routine I played through SoO using it and it was amazing but I had to put it aside for better performing casters.

However, now that warlocks are back doing well I am trying to figure out some demonology stuff. First of I noticed hellfire is a bit weird. When using hellfire on 5+ enemies it will do it for 1 tick and then stop to soul fire. Since I am using the demonbolt talent I have soul fire used at 1 or more stacks, is it possible that this setting is causing Hellfire to be ended early, instead of when I have almost max stacks? Also, there seems to be a lack of range check on hellfire as it will cast it beyond, what appears to be, a 10 yard range.

With that said, the Demonic Fury values. Is this suppose to be at what level do you activate so you don't cap and at what level do you get out of demon form if there is nothing else to do? It was a little unclear.

I'll put some debugging in for Hellfire to see what's going on with that.

vs the trainning dummy i have no problem but in raid i have a problem, the bot uses the metamorphisis at 300 points and doesnt spam anything. I have no problem vs the training dummy.

Will look into this issue. Disabling Shadowfury will fix it as a temporary solution.

hi millsy.

I have a 2k screen, when I open demonic it doesn't scale like portal so all the menus are mucked up.

hope you can make it an easy change

Ok so for all those asking about demo config let me put it simple. I USE DEFAULT PVE.XML FOR DEMO CONFIG BECAUSE IT'S OPTIMISED FOR SPEC I PLAY (DEMONBOLT).
The key in playing demonbolt is knowing when to move, reacting to disable cooldowns with hotkey if you will move and demonic would cast demonbolts same time so you don't fuck up the rotation. Also knowing on which fights you want to enable/disable meta + ToC on moving in options. You cannot have "a xml file to top dps" you need to adjust it yourself a bit on bosses that aren't friendly to staniding in one place and nuking everything.
If your demonic won't cast 4x demonbolts it's probably because your fury is below 850 (top setting) or you moved when it entered meta so now it used a couple of ToC and has to build it up again also with 10sec meta cooldown. Use your brain, know your spec and how it should it be played, then it will do more dps. Positioning is the key. Also if you switched from destro to demo and you expect results like over there it won't happen, demo is more complicated and requires different gear (mastery/haste). Also don't use imp swarm glyph it sucks unless you are in mythic guild that has very low execution time on bosses.

Hey - It's windows accessibility scaling that does it. You can google for how to do it, but you need to adjust the windows font scaling to be default. 4k monitors increase that setting slightly which messes with the GUI. I've had a bit of a play around with fixing this, but I don't have a 4k monitor (yet) so can't really fix it. Getting married in march, so can't drop that kind of money on a new monitor at the moment :)

When I load the pve default file it loads the settings 650/900 but it was suggested here to use 750/850 for demonbolt

What grimoire you use ? GoSup or GoSyn ? And of course what settings you use for a cataclysm build for tectus ?

WHEN implement these changes??

Just pushed a new build. It'll need approving first though.
- Added Healing Tonic.
- [Affliction] Increased recast delay on Haunt to prevent double casts.
- [Affliction] Added max units to DoT settings.
- [Affliction] Changed Haunt's re-cast threshold to take into account the 30% DoT added duration bonus.
- [Affliction] Added Drain Soul sniping for shard generation.
- [Demonology] Cataclysm is now only used in Metamorphosis form.
- [Demonology] Fixed a condition for Soul Fire in normal form.
- Fixed a range bug with Shadowfury.
- Further coroutine changes.

It's saving shards for Soul Swap since you've got it enabled.
never use soul swap to copy and paste x3 dots.

Try deleting your PvE.xml file from <HB>/Routines/Demonic/Settings/ and re-open HB. It sounds like it's not extracting the latest default files. It should be 850/750 in the default PvE.xml file.

about default settings, what millz said above. I'm using GoSup since Gosyn is more rng so it can be better and it can be worse depending on luck and I don't like luck :D
still not on mythic tectus so I'm not using cata still, I did 44k dps with demonbolt on tectus HC yesterday, I was forcing chaos wave a bit though since it's hard to make demonic to do it properly or I forgot what was the deal with it. Will have to talk to millz about it :D

Hi - thanks for the log file, but it doesn't contain any information, just a few lines after the bot was loaded. Can you generate a new log file please?
