[PAID] [Warlock] Demonic - An Advanced Honorbuddy Warlock Routine [PvE/PvP]

How are you handling the lag delay. Im losing like 25% dps while waiting for it to cast the next spell, if i just smash down incenerate my dps goes up alot.
 
no i use immolate on the adds to have full embers all the time to cast chaos bolt on garrash and using incinerate kills the ads to fast im on heroic garrash btw just want it to cast only immolate with burning embers like a way to toggle between them

IMO this won't be a dps increase but anyhow - you could just lower the immolate threshold in the destruction tab to a value under the hp of the adds. Once targeted, you should be casting immolate on them.

it still casts incinerate first and all the time and i know its not a dps boost but we kill adds really fast and slower i kill them more burning embers i can get
 
you say you kill the adds really fast - in that case it makes even less sense to cast Immolate on adds since they will die way too quickly - I'm pretty sure if the adds die fast and you are on Heroic Garrosh, it won't be due to your incinerates alone.

no its because our whole groups damage but me casting incinerates when i need my embers to burn garrash on first phase i manually cast chaos bolt but i let it auto the fire and brimstone because my lagging issues and stuff it was just a suggestion
 
Has anyone had much success trying out affliction in SoO with this CR? (Compared to the destro, which is very good) Looking at using it on a few of the affi friendly fights. Also interested what min HP value most people are setting their Soul Swap to for H SoO
 
Ohhhh damn. I'm at half mast already. Can't wait! Are we looking at role based logic? I.E. A healer would focus on largest group of players defending / attacking, but switch to support someone like flag carrier if flag picked up?

Not sure how many people are interested in this, but I've been working on a new bot base - BGFarmer. Idea is a superior alternative to BGBuddy. I'm not a huge fan of BGBuddy, due to the vast amount of people who use it, and the basic logic behind it means it's only interested in farming other players rather than actually winning the game. BGFarmer aims to change how battlegrounds are played with a bot.

It's still under development, and will be for another few weeks at least, but here's a sneak preview from the log file to demonstrate the logic behind what it's doing ;)

Millz please, as i said some time ago, blacklist the pandaren for shadoburn in the spoils encounter. It's a big dps loss since they dont give you ember when they die.

It lists all of the mobs, but I'm not sure which don't return the embers, so need to be careful about blacklisting them.

Depends which version of Demonic you're using - it's handled different in both :)

Haven't thought that far ahead yet. I've had 2 major issues which have held me up for over a week. It kept crashing Honorbuddy 2/3 times per BG, and Deepwind Gorge's banners are handled completely different to the other banners, which took me a while to work out why it wouldn't interact with them.

I re-written big chunks of code 3 or 4 times now already, because it wasn't working how I wanted it to.

Where I'm at currently...

- Fundamental logic for the following BGs working (i.e. attack and capture flags, defend our flags, capture orbs etc).
- Arathi Basin
- Deepwind Gorge
- The Battle for Gilneas
- Temple of Kotmogu
- Eye of the Storm

- Preparation stuff:
- Collects healthstone's if we don't have one, a random amount of time after a Soulwell has been placed.
- Collects food/drinks from a refreshment table, a random amount of time after the table has been placed.
- Doesn't mount instantly after buffing, waits for a random amount of time before getting on the mount (sometimes quick, sometimes slow..).

- Human Behavior
- Jumps on random delays, lots of settings to decide when to jump (in combat, out of combat, mounted, not mounted, only when moving etc)
- Moves around near flags when defending
- Dismounts when reaching the POI (point of interest) to allow keeping self buffs up and healing party members (if applicable)

- Work in Progress
- WSG and Twin Peaks coded but not yet tested. Will run to capture the enemy flag and bring it back to our base, attack enemies carrying our flag, and defend friendly members holding the enemy flag.

In November, I made a series of notes for each encounter in this thread for the same problem. I copy and paste what I wrote.

Normal/Heroic Immerseus

This guy is easy as damn troublesome for a good Destruction Warlock. He doesn't die then every last Shadowburn is wasted unless we are near the end of the fight (last reform phase). We want to keep our embers to burn them with F&B when he goes in Split Phase, if a bunch of Sha Puddle spawn close to each other and if not, we burn the boss with Chaosbolt when he reform. In Heroci Difficulty this method is crucial due to the Swelling Corruption mechanic during the main phase.​

Warlock Cleave Situation: Havoc/Chaosbolt is fine but We don't want to use Shadowburn at all on them under 20% HP because they give us 0 embers back on death and we prefer to keep our embers for the next phase of the encounter.​

This fight is amazing for Destruction Warlock if managed optimally. Run out of embers because we burned the last add of the wave X isn't good because we run the risk of having 0 embers to use F&B on the wave Y. In this fight would be appropriate to use Shadowburn only on targets that don't have the Shadowburn aura.​

The problem isnt the adds in this fight, the problem is every Paragon because when one of them die he gives us 0 embers back. We prefer to keep our embers for the next Paragon we want to burn down or use .

I just tested this out on a dummy with my 554 lock, and I got scared.

I mean who casts like that? You'd have to be satan himself. 0_o
 
Out of curiosity how is the Affliction-side of the routine? If its half as good as the Destro Im gonna be pleased! ^^
