Specifically, how would I change the lifetap variables? It only gives me a minimum health so I don't lifetap below that threshold. The only other lifetap setting states that below 75%, lifetap. I don't see how I can accomplish what I want given only those two variables.
Secondly, can you give me just a bit more insight on how/where to make these changes, to maintain a minimum distance, say of 6 yards? Perhaps this is something that should be coded in by default, is what I'm thinking, as why would a Warlock ever want to be within 5 yards of a mob? Thank you very much.
Don't me to be a pain, I really don't, but could really use some assistance with this. Thank you both.
Hey thedrunk, hit me up later on when you're awake because I want to close this thread and start a new one as version 4 (version 3 is so much different now that I want to get a new thread up to keep better track of issues or suggestions). But I want to run it with you first
I have no idea what you're asking/wanting for the lifetap part.
For the minimum range, there is none. Once you out-aggro your pet (which happens a lot later on, especially if you aren't using the blueberry) you will have things in your face hitting you. Even with the blueberry there will be times that you will have guys in your face.
Otherwise, the bot will pull at its maximum spell distance (so 30 yards). And with how it performs in various tasks, I'd rather it just stand in place and melt faces instead of trying to keep a 5 yard minimum distance. If it tried to do that it would be moving constantly.
Then perhaps code it so that it will only keep a minimum distance if it doesn't have aggro. That should solve your concerns. I'm also interested in the settings for life tap, i.e. If I have 100%+ health and <100% mana, lifetap. Otherwise, any health gained is wasted, and could have gone to replenishing your mana if you'd have life tapped.
