The forums may need a bit of a modification and clean up i agree, but also in the Op you mention about how many users HB has and how they should spend money, well i will answer this since i have seen others post similar things along these lines before, unless i am missing some facts which are common knowledge to you, and the others i have seen post, i would of assumed that the amount of Honour buddy Users / gather buddy would be a private information, so all information about the number of buyers / users is pure speculation?.
As far as i can gather alot of the people who help to make honour buddy better, do it off there own back Mord / code name g etc, and some times they even get surly comments about there hard work.
Any way would like to see a few changes, one would be a a HOW TO SET UP INSTALL HONOUR BUDDY, it would have a list of operating systems it works on, and the information about the net frame work all on one post which got updated , a locked sticky thread.
I never mentioned anything about how they should spend money (if I did please tell me where, then I forgot it myself

).
How many users GB/HB has is not really a speculation. I think it's safe to assume that the amount of registrars here on the forums equals (or even surpasses) the amount of bots running.
Maybe it's private information, maybe considered speculation, but I think it's not that far off the truth (and I really don't need to know the amounts).
Also as stated before the bot itself is stable (if you leave the questing module out of it). However that's what everyone wants. There is a post a bit back where Hawker refers to this release.
As mentioned a few times before. A F.A.Q. made by the staff, maintained by them where every user can fall back on, find the answers it's looking for etc.
It's gonna be one of the suggestions that will be collected in the end.
As bossland posted already, there's gonna be a wiki project in-line on the site, so I guess we will have a great information source soon enough.
Ill add another idea also, since HB is such a bargain of a product imo, i think that since every new release for patches etc, brings a new wave of complaints/ bugs, perhaps they should have a system in place, where they have a public Beta i know that the Devs have a beta prior to what most of us get from reading a reply earlier, so for example you load up Hb and when there is a new release, the authentication server will tell you theres a new release, and offer you the choice to download or continue.
The updated HB versions could be publicy tested for a period of time for say two weeks/ 14 days and bug reported / ironed out and then you have a choice of whether to use the latest version or stick with old version, if you choose to use the new version after say 2 weeks or prior you can make a small donation of say 1 pound, this donation funds could get split every half year between bossland/ devs / and the hardcre devoted CC makers/ plug in makers.
ill also add also split donations to the hard working moderators Tony - Ski.
Also A thumbs up for the epic warlock CC by Ski! and i think the drunk also helps! Really like this CC.
A auto-updater is a often heared request as far as my memory serves me corectly. Might be something for a suggestion.
There were also suggestions posted regarding the testing of a release before actually releasing it which will also be taken into the conclusion.
I don't think that the CC developers are short of money (or CD keys or whatever it is they ask for their work).
After all it's not their fulltime job (although some of them really spend alot of time in their work one might wonder).
Donations are made, even now, on voluntairy bases to those that ask for it, even I donated here and there as a token of appreciation.
Also as I said being a (super)moderator is a voluntary job, at least I still assume it is. It's a honorary job, done by those who generally care for a community.
Often such jobs brings privileges with it (which is part of the reward for doing it), but also alot of responsibilities.
It's not for the powermongers, because eventually they put themselves out of the game if they misbehave or step out of line.
Thanks again for your continued suggestions.
Tonight I will try to make a compilation of the discussion and made suggestions and present it in a new post.
As I have to go to work for a longer period again, I would like to bring closure before I take my leave.
Then at least I can finish what I started in a neat fashion.
Regards, LiquidAtoR.
