[PAID] Vengeance - Richie's Retribution Paladin PvP/PvE [Pro Edition]

-Fixed a bug when the peeling logic prevented the usage of the damage abilities

Also, could you guys please check the seal swapping logic when it's set to auto? How it feels? Tried to make the routine keep up slow as much as possible with SoJ while maintaining the censure stacks. Since the on-hit damage of SoJ and SoT are the same it doesn't matter which one you use the most until censure isn't falling off, but the more I play with it the more I feel like it's using too much global cooldowns.

Please pay attention to it and tell me how it feels.

I thought this was common knowledge but,


You can use every spell through BoP expect Crusader Strike.


I'm not sure if your routine does this but, like I said, this is a common thing some people miss.

I'm checking for invulnerabilities using the HB API, I'll check if HoP gets through those checks or not. Will add an exception for HoP to still cast the spells(except CS) if it does not already.

It's good for PvE as well, I'm using it for dungeons and for raiding as well.

Also working well with dungeonbuddy.
 
Didn't compare raid damage yet, since this routine's main purpose is PvP where control and reaction time is more important.

But you made me interested in that as well. Might do a test tonight on dummies, since in the instances too many things to factor in that can change the outcome.
 
Any feedback from people using this in arena? how is everyone doing with rating?
 
Doesn't seem to be doing anything in arena scrims. Hitting training dummy's it DPS's but when I enter a scrim it pretty much auto-attacks.

don't feel left alone in the dark, I saw your comment, just shit hit the fan at home lately. Wife is in hospital and I'm at home with my 18month old son. Currently I'm happy if I can get SOME sleep, doesn't really have time to work.

Will see what can I do when things start to get back to normal.

In the meanwhile, could you please send me a few more logs? This one is pretty short and some games look like you got bursted down and that's why the routine coudn't really do damage.

Hey Richie,

the same problem exists for me as well. I bought the Routine and when i try it on a target dummy or in bg's it just works fine. But when i am joining arenas, it just stops working (will not cast any attacks only offheals and emancipates).
 
Here are some scrims where i actually did some damage. It feels like something is really wrong with the rotation or priority. Now i know nothing about ret's but I know when they pop wings in arena's when I'm playing against them someone gets hurt. A lot. When I manage to get someone down low enough to have this routine pop wings.. its like nothing changes.

Also it should be doing freedom on myself or my teammates when they are setting in a non-DR stun so it cuts the duration.

Really need the key-press pause support your other routines have. Nothing more frustrating than fighting the routine for globals when you really want to stun something right now.

Maybe it's target in range issue? Like if the routine says "Ok now it's time to do Crusader strike" but the target is out of range it just moves on and does nothing instead of constantly reevaluating what the best ability to do at the given time is and doing that as soon as it can? I noticed it doesn't judge for gap closing as quickly as it should. I ended up having to press it manually many times.

Anyhow looking forward to any changes.

Checking the logs, thanks for attaching them.

Wife is getting out of the hospital, so hopefully now I'll have more time on figuring out what's happening there. :)
 
Just tried it in arena and it's not even skipping a global.

Are you talking about arena skirmishes?

I'm not sure people ever use that in PVP. Also it seems to be using Divine Storm as filler when it should be using Final Verdict since (IMO) the AE damage from a non-proced DS is just wasted in arena since ret's dont play on rot teams.

Maybe a toggle in an upcoming version for AE on/off?

Will check what's different in skirmish mode.

You can turn off the usage of AoE on the general tab. Might change the default to be turned off the AoE usage. Will still use Divine storm with the perk proc/perk proc+FW proc.


Stun target / focus - Yup
Burst target NOW - Possibly with an option to also stun the target(closest healer??)
AE on / off - Not sure if it'll be needed for PvP, might add it as in PvE it might be useful.
pummel target / focus - I'm really not sure about whether it's needed or not. You should set up the spells you want to interrupt and let the routine do it automatically. If I missed a spell that should be interrupted you guys just should tell me and I'll add it to the list of defaults.

I can't really come up with more either. That's why I decided that it's ok to release without the hotkeys feature, because as you can see all of them can be done with macros/ingame hotkeys. Ret pallies are not that difficult that they'd need 99 hotkeys. :)

Also, pause on keypress is already implemented and will be in the next release(today???)

**New Version**
- Added option to pause on keypress to let you cast spells whenever you want
- Improved range detection
- Set AoE Decesion Mode's default to not use AoE spells, since in PvP it's not really needed(unless you're damage whoring in battlegrounds... :) ).
- Improved seal switching when Preferred Seal is set to Auto

Also added the UI elements for the HoSac magic debuffs. It'll be ready for usage in the next release.
 
This routine is amazing in bg's. However it doesn't work properly in skirmishes or arena. As you can see in the log it attacked the warlocks pet just fine, (by choice, they sent it after me behind a pillar), but when I want on the lock the routine got all messed up and didn't wanna do what it does in bg's.

Like I said works amazing in battlegrounds and on the lock pet. I looked at the log and when it says not in range stuff, I'm literally ontop of the warlock.


did three more matches, seemed to work in first match kinda, 2nd match zero dmg, 3rd match same thing.
