TuanHA Monk - The Ultimate Experience

i'm a bit more focused on 10men at the moment, but maceyp and Clubwar are providing some really good 25 HC settings. maybe u'll need to adjust some settings to your own preference, but they are really good basic start. :)

Has there been any PvE settings released for windwalker? Didn't notice anything different on front page.

Also, is it better to use dungeon or raid preset before you change settings for WW or is there no difference in the coding.

Is there a way that monk can pick up "Gift of the Ox" Gift of the Ox - Spell - World of Warcraft

That pick up in 5 yards of him. Because it is free healing.. Like healing sphere

Breath of Fire is use only when i have 3 unit or more.. But i am lossing my shuffle on boss fights so he will not use any breath of fire in boss fight

This version likes to only use Blackout kick right before shuffle is about to expire. This was not the case back in version 1. That is actually somewhat of a problem, so I generally will just manually press blackout kick.

The other problem with this version is that it does not prioritize Keg Smash as the first spell it should use, like it should! This results in chi loss that could normally go to Breath of fire or Blackout kick.
I also noticed during my Heroic Lei Shi that if I set my Guard to 100% health that it will spam my guard and not do anything else, this also was not the case in version 1.0.

The other problem I am having in PVE is that the cc does not interrupt my target it will interrupt a target I am not even targeting. Such as the menders on Windlord, my mender won't be casting but another one does that I don't even have targeted and it will interrupt. So I have to do this manually as well.

And yes I use this CC as a Brewmaster in Heroic Progression Raiding in a top 100 US guild.

As someone who only plays Brewmaster and used this CC on almost all of my heroic kills 12/16H. Version 1.0 was better rotationally than version 2.0 in its current state. That being said 1.0 wasn't perfect either.

Version 1.0- I never had 2 minute shuffles I had maybe 1 minute on rare occasions but it also didn't kegsmash or tiger palmed as much as I would have liked.

My Mistweaver just tried to Life Cocoon a person who was mutated on Amber-Shaper -- which ended up just cocooning itself at full hp.

Lot of changes have been made to BrewMaster last 8 hours.

There was mistake (don't use Keg Smart on cooldown) or stupid logic (Spinning Crane Kick while Shuffle about to expire...) and more have been fixed.

I know BrewMaster is not at the good level as MistWeaver as now (I've spend most time tweaking Mist and Wind tbh) so I really need your help on Brew Krasas.

There little different settings for WindWalker, for a dps class, there only ONE setting: Get the most damage done on every fight (unlike MistWeaver some fight need focus on AoE other need single target heal...)

There only few different in setting for WindWalker:
Dungeon - use interrupt
Raid - do not use interrupt (that cost energy and do no damage)
PvP - Fist of Fury on cooldown (auto activate on PvP situation)
 
Just wondering if I'm missing something. trying to load version 1 and its crashing HB. I have a new install of windows 7 cause 8 sucks balls. I installed dot net 4.0 is there something else i need to install. FYI version 2 works.
 
Hello! just wanted to say since the monk 2.0 update...
There is a major improvement! as usual i love your job!

On the other hand.. the last update (.114) i have a problem with a mistweaver.
The bots just keep waiting for the healing sphere.. and just stops heal. =\
Anyone else have the same problem?

Try delete the [yourcharname].xml file

If fixed, now you are Required to enable movement + enable pick healing sphere for the bot straffle around to pick gift of the ox.

New version focus on survivability more. It will not Breath of Fire or Spinning Crane Kick unless it have at least 6 second shuffle on the pool.

Can you explain more on the "jab until X Chi" - what the benefit? Currently it jab when you are about to cap energy (over 70%) - or Keg Smash on cooldown.

This special fancy update has just burnt the CC into the ground. MW'ing sucks
BM seems ok, a little less threat than the previous version, but I am very disappointed with MW
 
Is there a way to use Blackout Kick to just keep up Serpent's Zeal, and after that to use Chi for Uplift? Would be a great addition to Fist-/Zealweaving.

Use it manually, would be my suggestion.
The reason is, yeah you could code that of course.
BUT: let's say it's coded like
if Serpent's Zeal <2 use Chi for Blackout Kick
Check if Serpent's Zeal = 2
if Serpent's Zeal = 2 use Chi for Uplift

then the CR would use Chi for Blackout Kick, no matter if Uplift would be needed more in this situation or not. so it could be that the CR uses 2 Chi to build up the second stack of Serpen'ts Zeal while your raid would've needed the 2 Chi to be used on Uplift for healing. Yeah, sure you could "fix" this issue with a priority code, but it still could be messing up in some situations.

that's only my opinion on that.
i use BoK and Tiger Palm by my self if no Uplift use is needed, which will be most times between 3-10sec of old Serpent's Zeal stack left or 1-5sec before 30% armor ignore buff of Tiger Palm will be gone.


Edit:

you could try to play around with "Blackout Kick when Mana Above XX" and see if you can find a value that suits you to keep Serpen'ts Zeal up most times.
